Too bulky
Didn't love these - waist just too bulky & while I am 5'5" my legs are disproportionately long (more like legs you'd find on someone 5"8" or so) and still the hem was dragging the ground.

Cute!!
Perfect for steeplechase tailgate. Not as warm as I would have thought - which could be great if the day isn't super cold. But if you're headed outside on a really cold day be aware the wind goes right through.

Terrific dress
Wanted a looser fit, but that resulted in the top coming a bit too low the bra showing at the sides. Probably wouldn't be an issue for C cups and below but if you have anything over a D or DD it may be an issue.

Great Dress!!
A bit itchy but that's to be expected w sequins. The blue to black ombre in the photo really doesn't come through in real life but there is still enough black undertone that black shoes are fine. Work great w a normal bra which is always a plus. The 12 would have been fine if I didn't have a short torso - but I needed the dress' waist to hit an inch or so below my waist to make the top not bunch up a bit. For a normal length torso at my height and weight the 12 would work perfectly fine.

Beach wedding perfection
Beautiful dress, perfect for a beach wedding. A racerback bra is necessary. Fit was very comfortable. The "sparkles" have both gold and silver so shoes with either will work. The "sparkles" on the lower part of the dress where there's no lining are a bit itchy when sitting.

Didn't wear it but it's a nice dress
This was sent to me as a replacement for a dress that was unavailable. It's a nice dress and I might rent it for a spring/summer event sometime. But this was a Christmas party & I just felt overall the dress was too summery for the occasion. I'm a 36DD and there is enough structure in the top of this dress that going braless would be a reasonable option.

Amazing dress!!
Loved this dress. Compliments all night at an event where there were lots of notable dresses. I'm 5'5" & wore 1½" heels. It was a bit long but I was able to "hem" the front with some fashion tape & it worked great. Only negative was the lining--it was tight. Like super tight. I don't understand this b/c I tried on this dress at the G-town RTR store & it fit perfectly--nothing was even slightly snug. When the same size dress arrived in Newport a week later the lining was tight. And my weight that morning was actually ½ lb less. I don't think I was the first person to have that experience b/c the lining was torn about 2 inches along the back seam. And the 1st time I sat down I finished it off. I don't understand why a designer would make a flowing forgiving dress & then put a pencil skirt liner inside of it. Anyway once the lining was no longer an issue the dress was fantastic. I feel badly about it but I guess that's what the insurance is for. But I've learned my lesson--get a backup size even for a dress you've tried on.

The short waist gets me again...
Beautiful dress but you need to have a long torso. For me there was way too much material in the bodice & a big gap at the cleavage that no amount of double sided tape was going to be able to fix. Really a shame b/c it is a lovely dress for the right body type.

Not for the hourglass w a short waist.
This dress was gorgeous. It was a little long but w some temporary hem tape in the front & heels I could have made it work. If I was straight and narrow it would have worked or if I had a longer waist it would have worked. This dress was beautiful but just not for me.

Gorgeous dress, not for large bust/short torso
This is a gorgeous dress but did not fit. I have a short torso & I was hoping since it looked like almost an empire on the model it might hit at my natural waist. Nope. I also wear a 36DD so there was a lot of loose fabric beneath the bust & then very tight across the bust. For someone with C cup or less & normal torso length I'm sure this dress would fit perfectly and would be a stunner at any afternoon party.

Didn't wear this dress - wore the backup instead. Backup was more Hamptons this dress is more Vegas - decided Hamptons was more appropriate for the event. The dress was lined except at the sleeves and comfortable but the sleeves are not lined and are somewhat itchy.

Very comfortable, works w a regular bra. My only criticism is the front needed either tape or a small safety pin as it is quite low cut and gaped. I have a very short torso and If there was 1 inch less in the straps it would have fit perfectly and I don't think the tape/pins would have been necessary.
