These are completely sheer
They are not lined, contrary to the description. There’s an insert, like in a swim trunk, that covers your crotch & includes the pockets. They are so sheer that I could see through them inside, at night, with just lamps on. They showed up with tags and immediately went back.

Pockets really are at front
There are functional front pockets. If you try the dress on and pockets point to back, take the dress off. Flip it inside out. Between the dress & lining you’ll find a black pocket pouch. Flip it to the front of the dress (pull the skirt fabric through). Drop lining, turn dress correct way. Wore a 4. Fit fine but it’s very long. Also, fabric is not that thick. Perfect for fall.

Comfort & compliments
My aunt, a neighbor, and 2 strangers -- compliments from 4 different people on 2 days when I was barely even leaving the house. And it's super WFH cozy. This is a remake of the silk & cashmere skirt released by Lippes in 2019, and it's heavy on acrylic. I thought the matching sweater was itchy, so I paired the skirt with a cream bodysuit and boots.

Soft but too snug
Fabric is very soft but so thin that this was pantylines galore. Feels cheap and didn't look especially good. Large at 39 weeks was essentially a midi dress.

Job interview at 37 weeks
I'm not a huge fan of body con dresses anyway, but this worked reasonably well under a RtR gold and silver blazer. It was def. snug. I used to wear a 4 and probably could have done an 8. It's very snug at the knees.

So stretchy! The pleats hit right at the belly, which made me look like I ate a beach ball. But the colors made me happy and it didn't wrinkle and I was able to get a seat on the subway every time I wore it, so def. points in favor.

Doable in third semester -- if you're mostly bump
Ordered this to replace the colorful Theory blazer that runs exceptionally small. It is def. gold and silver and probably does best with all black, but it's tasteful and not gaudy or overwhelmingly sparkly, more attention getting than casino tacky. I'm 36 1/2 weeks pregnant with second baby and went up to an 8 (usually wear a 2-4) and it's comfortable in the shoulders and arms, but all of my weight is in the belly. I'm wearing it over a fitted black sleeveless maternity dress. It's not my favorite RtR item (the buttons refine ugly), but it looks professional and I feel confident enough to wear it for a job interview.

Exceptionally tiny
Tried to rent for a job interview but way too small. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and all the weight is in my belly, but even sizing up 2 sizes, it was too snug in the shoulders and the front looks absurd. Not sure how this is flagged for ok in 3rd trimester? Maybe if you get the largest poss size?

I tried this in a large and an extra large and in both cases it was just too tight on the belly and butt. I'm 36 weeks and I've gained about 30 pounds and it's all in my belly, but this was just too snug for the style of dress.

I wasn't super thrilled with where the pleats started and a woman I was talking to didn't realize I was pregnant (I'm 33 weeks, so realizing now the dress may have just made me look fat.) but it was cute and comfortable enough. The lining is short and bunches up, but nothing a few extra bathroom minutes can't fix.

I'm 30 weeks pregnant with 2nd baby (up 20+lbs) and awful heartburn. The fabric is thick enough that I can go bra-less (it helps). I have long arms but, with the bump, this is fingertip length -- much shorter than on the model. I'm treating it like a tunic and pairing it with leggings or thick tights. It's definitely very rectangular, but it feels good on.

Works -- kind-of -- for early third trimester with modifications
This would definitely work better on a non-preggo obviously. But 29 weeks, 2nd pregnancy, and was able to wear a size 44 (previously a size 4). The slit in the front is a bit high (not helped by the bump) and it was 20-something degrees outside, so I put leggings underneath. Also, the center seam was a bit itchy (usually I don't have an issue with this), so I had to put a tank underneath too.

Size up for maternity
Another pregnant woman wore this dress in her seventh month and she must have a very tiny bump. The only way I could get it to fit over my bump (28 weeks, second baby, up 20 pounds) was to pull it way up so the pleating flared over the belly. It looked like I was in denial about the need for maternity clothes. Def still needed a major size up from my usual 4. The V looked deep enough to breastfeed in though.

I may never return this dress. I've worn the large from about 21 weeks pregnant with my second to 28 weeks and hope to wear it until at least 32-34 weeks. Super soft -- my toddler loves giving me hugs in this, probably bc I'm like a large teddy bear. Loose enough to be comfortable in late 2nd trimester. Loved it enough that I bought a small from the designer for when I'm no longer pregnant.

I'm 26 weeks with baby 2. Used to wear a 4, but a 10 on this was too snug on hips and it was too short to wear without leggings or tights, which wouldn't fit under too snug lining.

Loved this dress. Super slimming from the front. But! My I'm 24 weeks and belly button popped and the seam down the front was super irritating. And, once the belly really pops, it pulls at the armholes and makes them gap. Still, cute while it lasted.
