Perfect for a Bay Area spring day

Lovely colors and wrinkles a bit. Should have gone down a size since it was baggy around the bust and sleeve area. Made it work with a denim jacket and flats. Would rent again with a smaller size!

Beautiful dress

So many compliments on this. I will say, you may want to use a belt to tighten the waist to give you any kind of form. Otherwise, the pattern is so happy. The fabric is amazing. The length was beautiful (I'm 5'3" and it hit below the knees). Everything about the dress was luxe.

Kindergarten teacher chic

Boxy, oversized fit like I expect from Marni. Ankle-length on me (5' 1"). Probably going to hold on to this all summer - it's airy, comfortable, covers everything I like to cover, the muted colors tone down the wacky pattern, plus POCKETS!

Pretty shapeless and NEEDS to be styled!

This dress is BIG. I thought a size down might have been better but the neck and arm holes would have been too tight. The pockets and ruching help give it a bit of shape but only if you plan to keep your hands in the pockets all day. I tried adding a belt but that didn't mix well with the type of cotton this dress is. The only way I could see wearing this and having some sort of shape would be with a cropped jacket. I probably won't rent again...unless I'm pregnant lol.

Sweet print

This was quite cute, if you like long, float, billowy dresses with pretty, soft prints. And pockets. I sized down and also belted. And threw on the jacket for a little more definition. Wouldn't rent again but I enjoyed it for a casual spring work day.

Shapeless tent

I generally love baggy dresses, but this one missed the mark. It's laughably large, even though I sized down 2 sizes. Can't imagine even the smallest size looking good on anyone. Shame because it's a beautiful print.

I love Marni!

The reviewer who called this dress kindergarten teacher chic is right, but I love it. It's classic boxy Marni which I personally find very comfortable and flattering. A great lightweight cotton, cute for summer.

Obsessed with this oversized dress!

Loved everything about this from the oversized fit that still flattered, the pleating at the waist, the lightweight material and that it reminded me of a dress I wore as a kid. Tons of compliments at work and I would rent again in a second.

Very typical Marni style. Huge but I loved it!

I loved this dress. I wore it twice (once to work with a blazer and another time out to a casual dinner). It's large & not figure flattering but I truly loved it. It's very cool and made me feel chic but relaxed. I'll definitely rent it again & I would purchase it if it wasn't over $1,000.

I could wear this dress everyday!

Fit absolutely wonderfully and was so comfortable. The light fabric is perfect for summer brunch or an every day wear.

Added my own belt and love it now

Great material and print, arm holes fit, yay pockets! Without a belt it was unflattering and like wearing a sail.

So cute! Pair with belt

With this dress you can really go anywhere. Pair it up with high heels or flats, with or without a belt, play with the color of the shoes and bag and you got yourself a 1960s dress with rich fabric and unique style. Loved it!!

I did not wear this.

This dress is HUGE and really long. The print, material, and cut are really cute. Just not for petite women.

I really have nothing to say here.

Nice quality, pretty. Didn't do much for me. I would wear it on vacation or on a summer day. I would not wear this dress if I wanted to show off my figure or wow someone.

Comfy and easy, lots of compliments

This dress is meant to be worn a little big, but I could have sized down and still achieved that Marni look. The fabric is pretty, a very comfortable crisp cotton. The pockets are deep, perfect for running around the office on a busy day.

Huge!

Very unflattering and for someone my age (late 50's)- much too "little girl". Plus as other reviewers said, it is huge and baggy. If you are tall and straight, it could work but size down at least 2 sizes. Well made and very light-weight. Would be great for a casual beach holiday with some wedges.

A vintage cotton dress

This dress has a slightly oversized fit (arm and neck openings were perfect, however). The shape is very forgiving, so it could be worn during or after pregnancy. I cinched the dress with a simple leather belt. Material is a tightly woven cotton, so no slip was needed, but it was also light. The construction of the dress and the material also make it quite sturdy: there will be no seams opening by accidental pulling. Overall, the dress has a vintage, 60's look. I wore it twice: to work and on a very warm Sunday outing with kids (the dress survived and I felt very comfortable!).
