I give this dress a 4...loved the color and style but the top was a little difficult , it's sooooo low cut and I'm big chested and I still had to use safety pins to keep the top up but I was able to pin it and loved the look. I had just had a baby 3 weeks before this wedding so I ordered way up in size cuz I wasn't sure what to expect . So I don't really know how it runs in size it was a little big on me and especially big in the strap / chest area like I said but also wearing a dress 3 weeks post partum things are bound to fit weird. Rent the runway was awesome as usual and I got a ton of compliments

This dress was phenomenal I want to buy it! . It definitely runs large so size way down. I'm usually a 16 so ordered a 16 and 14 and I wore the 14 but wish I ordered a 12 and 14 because I think the 12 would have been better. The bright red is a gorgeous color and the style of dress makes it perfect for any event. The cleavage is great but if you are conservative it might not be the dress for you because it is low cut. No spanx needed and you can wear a regular bra which makes any dress perfect in my book but this dress really is gorgeous . The material is stretchy but structured if that makes sense, everytime I washed my hands the water stains from splashed water took a bit to dry because of the type of material . The price is perfect on this dress too - this has been my best rental so far and I got a ton of compliments on it as well.

I didn't love the style of the dress to begin with but on it was terrible ... it ran big and would have stretch to it so I would recommend if you rent this to get your size and a size below as back up . The dress is a gorgeous navy and the material is stretchy and comfortable and the draping does wonders . Very good for curves . I wore the petite since I'm short and didn't want it to be too long . The petite was perfect for flat shoes if I wore the regular length I would have worn heals (I'm 5'2 ) but I was dancing all night so was happy to have ordered the petite and able to wear flats . Loved this dress ! Got tons of compliments !

I rented this for my daughters baptism - it was very church appropriate, I normally don't like high necklines but this fit the event. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the skirt cut is different and interesting . The fit was a little off but not noticeable .... The chest area is very large ( I'm a 38D ) and I had a ton of extra space so this dress would work very well for someone very busty . Overall a great dress !! Got lots of compliments . Was a tad disappointed RTR isn't sending small goodie bag with samples anymore - was just a nice touch I will miss

I originally rented this dress for my daughters Sunday baptism because I knew it would be perfect for a spring day and appropriate for church . The event had to be canceled as my mother in law tragically passed away the day before . I was supposed to return the dress Monday but I contacted customer service by email and asked them if I could pay more to keep the dress to wear to the wake Thursday night - I had so many things to do that week that shopping felt overwhelming to me and I knew the modest cut of the dress was appropriate for the occasion. Customer service was amazing and let me keep the dress with no additional charge to wear for the wake and return on Friday. I have loved rent the runway and their customer service for a long time but now I am a lifelong customer and will never forget they did this for me . In such a horrible time in my life this little gesture meant a lot to me and truly made a difference . I had so many compliments on this dress and I told everyone the story about RTR and their amazing customer service. So now the dress ! It's lined with a very silly comfortable and cool material very comfortable to wear - it has pockets which is amazing ! The blue is vibrant and beautiful ( I was afraid too bright for the wake but everyone told me to wear it and that it was perfect although I really wish I was wearing it to the baptism instead of a sad event ) . The way the waist falls and skirt flails out is very flattering and made me feel great. No spanx needed girls.The neck cut is very modest and I usually hate cuts so high to my neck but knew for the baptism or what ended up being the wake it was very appropriate . I ended up wearing the bigger size 22 although the 20 fit me better just for a tiny more length - just standing straight the length was perfect but raising my arms up the dress rose up a little short . Since I wore the bigger size it was a little lose especially at the neck but I was comfortable and it still looked great. The sleeves are perfect if your self conscious about your arms. Overall this is a beautiful dress I would rent again and I can not thank the company and customer service enough for being so amazing. I ended up renting another dress for the funeral as well . I love RTR and am so thankful this company exists!

I rented this dress for a funeral and I had never thought to rent a dress for this type of an event however the circumstances were very sudden and tragic of a person very close to me . My week consisted of planning a funeral and dealing with all of the technical things after a sudden death and grief and renting this dress took about 1 minute instead of going shopping or searching through and trying on some of my old clothes . On a terrible week to be able to save that time was priceless . On a day when many people are looking at you and your already feeling terrible inside it was nice to look good on the outside . I got a ton if compliments on the dress and I was comfortable all day. The dress was very appropriate for the occasion a gorgeous deep navy- the lace detail at the top was beautiful and the length was perfect off the occasion . It runs true to size if not slight big and has great stretch to it. Very cool and comfortable . I would Definately rent this dress again and highly recommend the dress and rent the runway to everyone

So this is a long review - we had rented this dress in all sizes for a bridal party of 9 for a New Year's Eve wedding ... I previously rented the dress in the green color for another wedding 2 months ago so I could gage how it would fit me without stressing before the wedding . I wore the 18 in green with no problems . A few days before the wedding I got an email saying the size 18 was damaged beyond repair and my backup size 20 was being plus 2 other gold dresses in different styles incase the size 20 didn't work out. I got a little nervous that I wouldn't have a backup dress as I needed to wear the original ordered dress as it was a bridesmaid dress but since I had ordered it before in green I was worried . When the size 20 came it was a disaster as it appears someone before me hemmed the dress as it was so short in the back it was unwearable ! I thought it was destroyed and I panicked about having to drop out of the wedding due to the dress ! I called customer service who was excellent although they didn't have any dresses left to send me which was out of their control but they said they would refund me if a seamstress cold reverse the hem . I didn't think the dress could be fixed but thank god the seamstress was able to reverse it! Sooooo long story short it was a very stressful rental but thank god it worked out - now to actually review the dress the gold sequined dress is stunning especially for New Year's Eve event it caught the light beautifully . The dress I think ran a tad small as the 20 fit me perfectly except was short (even after the hem was fixed ) and it seemed short because the bum section seemed to bunch at the zipper pulling the back up about an inch but once the hem was fixed it wasn't too short to wear thank god although I was a little self conscious dancing in it since it was shorter than I was used to . This dress was flattering on all the bridesmaids - which we were all different shapes and sizes . The boob section is revealing it if you have a large bust but you can pin it together if needed . Mine had a small stitch in the front so I didn't need to pin it although some girls didn't have that stitch so needed to pin it gorgeous dress but the fit seemed off to me , I'm wondering if this was because someone altered the dress because the 18 I wore in the green color 2 months ago fit way better

I didn't wear this dress - I didn't actually select this dress but it was sent as back up when the dress I rented was only available in my back up size . I tried it on just to try it though and the gold color and sparkle are beautiful , the draping in the back is gorgeous and you can still wear a regular bra with it. It fits true to size due to stretchy material I would wear spanks with this. The material has thick lining though which is nice . I am fairly short and the length would have been fine with low heels. The only thing I don't like about the dress is my preference.- I don't like the high neck in the front I like a lower neckline on myself . However I wanted to try it on and give this a review although I knew I wouldn't be wearing it because I find the reviews so hopeful when renting so hopefully this helps someone !

Since the original dress I ordered was actually a bridesmaid dress I decided to use this dress for the rehearsal dinner because why not take advantage of getting an extra dress ? I wore the 18 and it was a tiny bit big but very comfortable - the gold is really pretty not a color I would usually wear. I had actually rented this same dress for a wedding 2 months ago but in black and cream which I liked the colors better on but once again a successful dress from rent the runway !

I didn't get to wear this dress because of the fit. I read reviews and saw others said it ran small and to order up . I'm normally a 16 but since I had my baby a few months ago I have been a size 18. So I ordered a 20 and 22 knowing it would run small ... The 20 was still too tight to zip so I tried the 22... I was able to fit into it but the fit was terrible really from fitting across my middle hips and butt that wasn't very flattering and then I could not wear a bra with the dress because you could see it in the back with the backless feature which is actually gorgeous . I tried a low back bra but you could still see the straps on the sides . So I tried without a bra but although the bottom was very from fitting the top was not and offered no support ( probably because it was a size 22) and it just didn't work for my body . Maybe when I lose the baby weight I would try again cuz the dress was gorgeous in theory just not fitting my post baby body well at all :( ... Deep navy color gorgeous and very well made lace . I wish I could have worn it !!

This is the first dress I have rented (First of many ) from RTR. I was nervous because being plus size it's hard to trust a dress is going to fit and look good without trying it on.... I chose to order 18 and 20 as I was unsure what size would fit since I had a baby 2 months ago and haven't exactly bounced back fast and I was plus sized before anyways. The 18 fit great! The dress is really comfortable the lining is a great material and the sequins don't itch which is amazing! The draping of this dress is very forgiving for tummys which is exactly what I needed ... Didn't even need spanks with this ! Also great you can wear a regular bra with this. For busty girls you may need to pin the top (I did ). The emerald color is gorgeous for fall ! I'm hooked on renting now and the 4 strangers who commented on loving my dress I told about RTR. thank you RTR for offering great dresses for us plus side girls !!!
