The material is very flattering and I received tons of compliments! I'm usually a size 2, and it runs true to size. 

Im very small, got the xs and was still a bit big but it probably couldve worked. i didnt end up wearing because I missed the event i was going to wear it for.

I must have purchased at least ten dresses for our only daughter’s wedding—nothing felt quite right. I even had one professionally altered and still wasn’t happy with it. Then, just a couple of weeks before the big day, I found this dress and decided to order two sizes, just in case.

It arrived, and I was immediately impressed by the quality—it’s beautifully made. I’m petite, so I went with the 2P and had it tailored: hemmed, taken in slightly at the chest, and added more boning to the bodice for support. It ended up fitting like a glove.

I absolutely LOVED this dress. I felt beautiful, confident, and received so many compliments. It’s a timeless, elegant piece—truly a lovely classic.

Overall the dress was a little big but was able to stay up the whole night. Wish it was a little smaller in the chest and waist area.

I didn’t end up wearing this to my event, but I almost did! It made my waist look tiny bc of the peplum.

The bust was small on this. I am a C cup and couldn’t wear a strapless with it. I’m normally a 2 but I wish I would have got a 4 in this one. I’m 5’9” and with heels the length was good! Beautiful dress! 

This is a great dress for a cocktail! I didn't end up using it as I wanted it for a dance party and wouldn't have been able to dance comfortably with it. Strapless is not great for 32DDD bust size and I am 5'2'' and and even with high heels it's long.

I felt confident in this dress, and added a BCBG cape. The dress stayed in place all night. I have a little weight in my belly, but you couldn’t notice it in this dress. 

I was very pleased with the fit and quality, and received many compliments! I am 5 2 114lb and 32C and afternoon reading reviews I opted for the OP. It fit perfectly

I loved this dress!!! The material was comfortable and breathable. I normally have to keep pulling strapless dresses up, but this stayed in place while I was dancing all night. I got compliments all night long. Sometimes when I put heels on, petites can be too short, but this was the perfect length for 3 inch heels. I didn't have to wear a bra with it, which is highly unusual, because of the strong structure. I did, however, put spanks on because it is so form fitting. Phenomenal dress! 

The peplum is so flattering. I got the 2L because it says to get that if you're over 5'6,--I'm almost 5'8 and it was definitely too long is the only con., it hit the floor even with heels. The bust is large for me but it wasn't too bad. Hard to zip up at first but then I just pulled it up further and it did the trick. Zero regrets though, it's absolutely stunning, amazing material, barely wrinkles. So stylish and chic!

This dress was perfect for my twin postpartum body! The peplum hid my belly well and made me feel great! This was a gorgeous dress!

The dress was lovely and it fit like a glove. I usually wear a size 4 standard but given that I'm 5'1 I figured petite would give a shorter length so it wouldn't drag. The chest fit a bit tight but I do have a larger chest than most petite sizes I think account for! However it showed my shape wonderfully, I felt so elegant and got so many compliments. Thank you!!!

Wore for a black tie summer wedding at a garden. The dress was really flattering- love the belt and small train at the back. Got lots of compliments. 

Beautiful dress and very comfortable! I received many compliments. The fit was true to size. My only complaint is that the top was a bit too large, almost as if the dress has been worn too many times, so I had to keep pulling up the dress through the evening. There is a small train, so be careful. Overall, I would rent again!

Fit is perfect except it runs LONG (not uncommon for someone of my height though). I'm 5 ft and wore heels and it was still way too long, we ended up sort of taping the bottom for my event. It was great and I received lots of compliments on it! The photo might seem like it makes you look heavy towards the middle but it does not!

I wore the 6P because I was in a rush, it fit, I left! However, it was very snug, and the 8P may have been better suited. The length was perfect with a 2" heel, and honestly the dress "held it all in"! Would absolutely recommend this dress.

This dress fits pretty well. The dress was a little large on me through the stomach and the chest. I felt as if I may fall out of the top of the dress a good amount of the night so might order a size smaller next time. The dress is elegant and I received a lot of compliments. 

I rented this for a black tie event. I felt amazing, it fit great, the length was perfect for my 5'6 length and a few inch heel. I did wear a strapless bra with it to help keep it from sliding down...it still did a little, but overall wasn't very bothersome. I would recommend this dress for any formal, black tie event! 

Definitely one of my favorite dresses. I ordered two sizes 2L and 4L and the 2L fit best. Didn't feel like I had to pull it up all night even though it was strapless.

I loved this dress. I was four months pregnant when I wore it and it was perfect. It was comfortable. Fit well. And was very flattering. I got SO many compliments. I also LOVED the accessories they recommended for it. I will definitely use rent the runway again. 

Th fit is perfect, it is like custom made especially for me. 

great fit, but I am a 34B so I really did not have enough up top to keep the dress up.  I did have to pull it up a few times as I felt it was falling down just a tad.  A really pretty dress where you can wear a nice necklace...Not too long for 5'5, weighing 132lbs...

I am 5'2" and 120lbs on a bad day lol. I wore the 2P which was a decent length with 3inch heels. I honestly would have preferred the 0P because I was not wearing a bra with 32DD boobs and wanted to be secure. Unfortunately the 0P that came in the mail was missing the rubber lining on the strapless portion and the zipper area was torn a bit so my husband was not comfortable zipping me into it without breaking it further. The 2P slid a little throughout the night but it worked for walking and sitting. I got plenty of compliments and felt beautiful in this dress. 

This dress worked perfectly for what I needed it for. My only complaint was that it was a little more loose in the chest that I would have preferred. I felt like I was pulling it up all night. It seemed a little stretched out in that area. I am a 34 C/D so I didn't expect that to be an issue. I wore the 4p and it fit great. It was a little long but I am 4'11 so that is to be expected. The zipper was hard to zip as some other people stated but that's more of an issue with the actual zipper than the size of the dress! Overall I liked the dress. 

I’m a 36B and the top was just a tad too big. I read all the reviews of others my height (5’2”) who successfully wore the regular length but I was afraid it would be too long on me so I ordered the 4 Petite and it was WAY too long!  Using the double stick tape to temporarily hem it was not an option because if the wavy ness of the hemline so I had to buy 1 1/2” platforms with a 5” heel to keep from stepping on it. Boy, did my feet hurt!!! But other than that I was so very pleased with my first RTR experience! 

It was a tough decision but I went with another dress. It fit well and was flattering but I would have needed to tape the top to my skin or bra because it seemed to pop out a bit.

I actually wore the size 4 for the wedding and for the appetizers but from sitting so much the wires in the bodice were digging into my stomach.  I changed into the six and was much more comfortable for the rest of the evening. With the four I did not need to wear a bra. With the six I did and it was still a little loose on top.  I had a sparkly black sweater I wore over it and then I didn't have to worry about pulling it up.  The dress is absolutely beautiful and I would definitely recommend it!  Wore for a winter black tie optional wedding.

I rented this for a formal party. I originally rented the 4R but asked about petite sizing, thank goodness. I am 5'2 and even with tall shoes, the 4P was still a tad long. The peplum ruffle was really flattering and I felt great. I rented this dress in red several years ago and still love it. 

This dress is wonderful. I ordered the 4P and 6P initially, but both were too large. I lucked out and the 2P was available and sent to me overnight - fit like a dream. So, if you think you are between sizes and you carry most of your weight on the bottom like I do, I suggest sizing down.  I didn't have any issues with the boning in this dress, and the length was perfect with 2-ish" heels. I kept accessories simple - emerald earrings, red lipstick, and fake eyelashes. The fabric on this dress is so comfortable - I honestly felt like I was in lounge wear for part of the evening. I received several compliments and felt great - I would definitely rent this again.

The length of the petite was just right with a 2 inch heel.  The dress is well constructed, so no need for bra or slip, and very comfortable to dance in!

The dress fit perfectly. I normally wear a 4, but I ended up wearing the 2R in this case. It was a snug fit , so I didn't have to keep adjusting the top and sitting was just as comfortable. I would highly recommend this dress for understated elegance!

I wore this dress to a Gala this past weekend. It was so elegant and comfortable! The length was perfect for me as well. I'm 5'2" and the petite length was great. I didn't even need to hold it up. I got so many compliments and my fiancé loved it as well

Fun spin on the often boring black dress required for a black tie affair. Very nice for the short ladies to have the petite option which lays nicely without wearing crazy heels. Watch for the train in the back, but had no problems dancing all night.
