The fit was very small and very snug through the shoulders. I typically wear an 18, but I am very glad that I sized up and got the 22 as a backup! It also ran a bit short (although I do have long legs at 6'1"), so I found myself pulling it down every so often, and I found that it did bunch up a bit underneath my boobs so I found myself smoothing that area down a fair amount. But the dress itself was fabulous! I got many compliments throughout the day and found myself feeling more confident than ever. You'll love it! Give it a try!

The sleeves are very cute, but kind of bunch up. Same with the waist. It may be because I'm both busty and hippy, but there was a definite fold. You can tell in the second picture that it doesn't detract from the dress. 

Loved this dress, but it was a little too loose around my butt and leg area and tighter around the arms. The 4 probably would have made it difficult to raise my arms. Otherwise, it fit nicely. 

Loved this dress - I did feel that it ran much smaller than the last two dresses that I rented. The dress is very structured and fit me well without a bra. It's a beautiful dress for anyone with an hourglass shape - it accentuated my waist. I would definitely rent again.

Heavy weight material plus pockets! Nice fit but there is no give to the fabric. The cut of the sleeves makes it difficult to raise your arms. The bodice and skirt are quite fitted- it was difficult to bend over to fasten the buckles on my shoes. Wore it to an evening work event.


I did have to size up to a 20 in this dress vs. my normal size 18. I found that the inner lining feels tight on your thighs, but isn't uncomfortable, it almost feels secure. When you sit down, because of the tight inner lining, it will ride up quite a bit. I was at an event that was majority standing so it wasn't a problem for me. I have fairly large arms and the armholes were not tight on me at all, in fact I had some room. I loved this dress!

I loved the color and the style, it was classy and very comfortable, I normally wear a size 12 which I think would have worked to. 

Very tight around the hips for pear shaped girls, was fine with spanx! 

Loved style of dress. I'm usually a 14 & DDD, so thought 16 would be okay. Needed the 18 for my top. Loved the silhouette of the dress and color. Fabric is really nice and was perfect for occasion!

Absolutely gorgeous dress, pattern and fabric are perfect. Dress shape runs very tight through hips - too tight for a pear shape! Should have rented a 6. 

Classically pretty, feminine details like the seams, princess cap (I think?) sleeves, beautiful color and shading  and good, substantial texture fabric, not flimsy. It runs true to size except the length was slightly longer on me than the RTR model - was 1" below, not 2-3" above, the knee. This was actually preferable for a dress where you are sitting in meetings, girly enough but more professional IMO.

I rented this dress for a summer wedding. I ended up wearing the 8- the 6 fit but was really tight in the chest. The fabric was nice and light- perfect for an August wedding! Would definitely rent it again 

The top portion of the dress fit me perfectly. And there was some room in the hip and rear area but I didnt mind because I did not want it too tight. Dress went right past my knees and the color of the dress really stands out. It was very comfortable too. I could have worn it all day. The reason why I gave it four stars instead of five is because the fabric sort of widens at the hips, making your hips look a little wider than normal. Also, because through out the day I would get a whiff of body odor from whoever previously wore the dress. Hopefully RTR can find a better way to get rid of any odors from previous renters. 

Loved this. The fabric is so luxe and it has pockets!  My 19 year old daughter said that it was a Michelle Obama dress. :)

The fabric is kinda shimmery. It might be a bit much for work, but I wore it anyways and felt amazing all day. 

This was a back-up dress I received after my first didn't fit. I wore this to my aunt's outdoor wedding and it was the perfect choice. The temperature happened to be in the 90s that day, so the dress was a little hot as the fabric doesn't breathe well, but the sizing was spot on for my height and weight. I also enjoyed the pockets for stashing my phone, powder and lipstick. As we were leaving the luncheon reception, one of the groom's relatives commented that she'd been eyeing my dress and that it fit me perfectly. Always great to hear!

Fit Great! Very Classy. Perfect for any church event. 

The pattern and embroidery make this dress special. It's simply lovely. Would be great to wear to church, Sunday brunch, easter or a spring/summer party. I wore it to a banquet at a work conference. As far as fit goes, it was not very fitted through the waist and a little tight across my hips.

This is a beautiful dress, nice fabric and style. It didn't zip up in the size 2 because it was too small in the chest and the fabric has no give, so in the pic the back is open (I usually wear a 2-4, 32D). I liked it enough that I'll try it again in a 4. 

I ordered this dress for a wedding. While I loved the fabric and the print, the fit was too small. I usually wear a size 14, and this was very snug in the stomach & hip area. I had the 16 size as well and that was an ok fit, but I didn't like how the dress looked very matronly on me. So I am sending it back. I do want to continue my RTR experience, though. 

My usual size is 10 so I was afraid I won't fit in the dress, however it worked out fine. I have a big bust and hip so the dress runs little tight on those areas but not uncomfortable at all. I was able to walk and bend down on knees in this dress. A size small in fact defined my body shape better and made me look thinner. I liked the cut and fit for the dress. The silver prints doesn't look flashy or shiny as I was concerned of from the pictures. All in all thank you RTR as usual got many compliments on my look! Very happy I made this choice!

This dress is very high quality and has nice detail. It was not tight at all; it is roomy in the waist. I would rent again for a spring party or wedding. It seemed a bit formal and happy for work. :)

This was a beautiful dress, I received many compliments but couldn't wait to get it off by end of day. The dress doesn't move. The sleeves were very tight making normal arm movements uncomfortable. Good for a short event. Not good for work. 

Wore this to a charity breakfast at a very fancy country club and got compliments from the minute I walked in the door. The fabric is gorgeous and the dress fit me like a glove. Loved the pockets.  I sometimes have a problem with the arms being too tight with sleeves like this but that was not the case for this dress.

I wore this dress for Mothers Day. The color is rich and simply beautiful and the fabric is clearly quality. The pockets are cute too. However, the fit was waaay off. I usually wear a 14 but because other reviews said it runs tight I went with a 16w and it was still too tight. I should have gone up another size just to be comfortable. Overall, I recommend the dress just be prepared to go up a couple sizes, especially if you are busty. 

Beautiful dress, and the color was gorgeous. Fabric isn't too heavy which makes is perfect for spring/summer events. Not the best dress to wear if you want to break it down on the dance floor (or go up stairs easily, or get into a car). There is a small slit in the skirt, but I feel like it needed a little more.  I opted to wear the 4 instead of my backup size 6, since the 6 was a little too long, and big in the chest area. The neck was a little snug when I would sit down as well.  Love the pockets! Overall, great dress and fit well. 

Rented a size 4 and 6. Went with the size 6 as the 4 was too small in the top. Lots of compliments on this dress! I wore this for Easter Sunday.

Tight around my legs was difficult to get in and out of the car... but, loved the print. Very Classy

This dress looked really pretty online but in person it fit very oddly and was just really busy. For starters, as you an tell in the photo, the dress is poofy around the middle. I'm curvy and this dress only made it worse. Second, and probably most annoying, the lining was like a size smaller than the dress. So it made it uncomfortable to sit in. Finally I think it needs a belt. I added this pink belt I had in my closet - I think a black belt would also look good to dress it up some. Overall it wasn't a great look.

Sleeves made it difficult to raise my arms while dancing but otherwise great dress!

Fit very well, received lots of compliments. Was comfortable and confident. The colors are bright and showy and the flowers are embossed giving it a lot of interest. 
I plan to borrow it again for a spring fundraising event.

I ordered an 18W with a 16W as backup. I am big busted - 44DDD and 190 pounds. C-section flap in my lower belly so I wore Spanx like tummy control. I could get the 16 on but there were unsightly rolls around my mid section so I went with the 18W. A touch tight - the fabric is dense and not stretchy at all - but it felt and looked good for the most part. I LOVED the pockets! I had no problem sitting - only climbing up into my SUV. The only downside are the shoulders - they are very wide. When I lifted my arm they did this weird puff thing at the top - see picture. Got several compliments - perfect choice for a morning wedding in Florida! 

Loved the dress and received so many compliments. It is true that it runs slightly smaller, but it did fit me. The fabric has no stretch but there is room in the hip area and since I am such a pear shape, this worked well.

I'm 4'11 so it was quite long on me. The shoulder detail is cute but a lot of people kept trying to pull it down to fix it because it looked bunched up. A bit tight on the middle stomach area. Loved loved lovedddd the pockets detail. It was also more pink/ rosey color than I thought it would be.

I rented this dress last year for my brother's Navy promotion ceremony and again to a friends wedding.  Great dress!!  Good for hourglass figures, plus it has pockets!!

I loved this dress! It was different from anything else at the wedding and it was very flattering on an hourglass figure. I'm a pretty true size 14 and this dress fit like a glove - when I was standing. Sitting, however, was a little tricky. The dress was very snug around the bum and hips, so much so that I almost changed my dress as the last minute. My husband convinced me otherwise because he also loved the dress and I'm glad I stuck with it, because I did feel more comfortable sitting as the night went on. I just had to hike it up before I sat. Highly recommend this dress!
