Classically pretty, feminine details like the seams, princess cap (I think?) sleeves, beautiful color and shading and good, substantial texture fabric, not flimsy. It runs true to size except the length was slightly longer on me than the RTR model - was 1" below, not 2-3" above, the knee. This was actually preferable for a dress where you are sitting in meetings, girly enough but more professional IMO.

I rented this dress for a summer wedding. I ended up wearing the 8- the 6 fit but was really tight in the chest. The fabric was nice and light- perfect for an August wedding! Would definitely rent it again

This was a back-up dress I received after my first didn't fit. I wore this to my aunt's outdoor wedding and it was the perfect choice. The temperature happened to be in the 90s that day, so the dress was a little hot as the fabric doesn't breathe well, but the sizing was spot on for my height and weight. I also enjoyed the pockets for stashing my phone, powder and lipstick. As we were leaving the luncheon reception, one of the groom's relatives commented that she'd been eyeing my dress and that it fit me perfectly. Always great to hear!

Rented a size 4 and 6. Went with the size 6 as the 4 was too small in the top. Lots of compliments on this dress! I wore this for Easter Sunday.

Great dress for a garden party wedding! The fabric was a beautiful color and texture. I loved the fit and the puffed sleeve gave it a very ladylike vibe. I got tons of compliments!

Beware if you have big arms those little cap sleeves will need to be adjusted throughout the night.

I loved this dress! I wore it to 2 back to back weddings, and received compliments at each! Both the length, and the style were great. It's very smart with its pencil skirt and cap sleeves. Although the dress was sophisticated in shape, it was also playful with its bright coral pink color and flower print. Loved that juxtaposition. And the length of the dress was perfect on my tall frame. Dresses that look classy on other women, often look like minis on me, but this dress hit me just above the knee. The only con for me was that I had to tug the skirt back into place when I stood up after sitting. However, that could have been because I wore the size 2 which fit perfectly at the bust, but was quite snug at the hip. Overall the skirt tugging was not a big deal for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed the dress!

This dress was perfect for a Virginia spring wedding. It travels well and fit great! I loved that it was a conservative cut yet the colors say FUN! It is brighter in person than in the RTR photos for sure.

The pic of the dress on the site doesn't really do it justice. And best of all the dress has pockets as every dress should. The structured sleeves took some getting used to but overall the dress is a winner.

This dress was a hit. I absolutely adore the color, it looks great with all skin tones (which is hard to find, I'm super pale). I'm also pretty flat-chested, but a Bombshell worked wonders. The shape is interesting as well! I would warn you, though, to be careful if you plan on taking pictures in this dress. The pleats in the front can cause a little pooch for side shots, which isn't very flattering. Just make sure you smooth it down and are aware of how you pose! Overall, such a fantastic dress. I didn't want to return it.

This is the second time I've chosen this style of dress (the first time was the Teal Envelope Dress) and realistically I'd rent it again. It fits well, it's great for dancing, and I was complimented all night. It can ride up the slightest bit—but that's just nitpicking. I can't recommend this dress enough.

I rented this dress after renting another dress from the same designer. So I knew the 4 would fit me. Pictures do not do this dress justice. This dress has a fantastic shimmer to it. I loved the shape of the dress and how structured it was. I have a long torso so it fit me at the waist perfectly and was not too short. I highly recommend this dress for any occasion where bright colored attire is encouraged!

Rented for a gala that I helped plan and I felt like Cinderella. I've never gotten so many compliments on a dress before! I'm officially sold on RtR. Like the Teal/Blue version this runs a bit small. I looked at the measurements listed for the Carmen Marc Valvo and measured and thought I for sure would be fine with the 18 and I'm so glad I got the free extra size. The area that ran the smallest for me was the bust, and because there's no stretch in the fabric- the skirt of the dress when you sit. So I would recommend going up a size. Loved this dress. I wore this dress to a brunch wedding. Fit the bill for all that I was looking for; beautiful fabric (pattern, color, even prettier in person), nice fitting, formal enough for a wedding and... pockets! Recieved many compliments. Loved it!

There's more sheen to this dress than I had anticipated but I love the classic, conservative cut made more modern in the bold textile. I think it would be appropriate for daytime weddings, cocktail parties or work functions.

You don't need many or loud accessories wit this. It's a classic dress that holds its own.

This is a really pretty dress. The color is bright and eye catching. I felt like Joan Holloway in Mad Men, and in a good way! It is a tad bit big on the bottom because of the pockets (it poofs out around the front waist), but overall I thought it was perfect for a work reception.

This was a nice pick for a beach wedding. It's a VERY deep pink... the pictures don't really do a good job of conveying that. I was under the impression it was more of a pastel, but that wasn't the case. The dress overall was a good fit that I was happy with (I could eat and dance comfortably), but I wish the material gave a little more in the shoulders - as mine as pretty wide as a swimmer - and in the thighs.

The color was much brighter than I had imagined- a neon pink almost. I wore it for a business DECA presentation on RTR and really stood out in a sea of black. The cap sleeves are gorgeous. The skirt lining was tight and it was difficult to walk up stairs and sit. Lifting my arms up past 90 degrees was also hard. The fabric is thick so be mindful of you are going to be outside in the summer. Overall it was a great rental and I'm happy I chose it.

Per usual, I was between sizes; I could fit into the 4, but the 6 was more comfortable. The dress was perfect for hosting a Derby Party, it even had pockets so I could keep my phone with me at all times without fuss. It did wrinkle easy, so I wouldn't recommend it for travel.

This coral print is absolutely stunning! This style is perfect for your next daytime wedding. It runs large, so make sure to size down for you backup size. There is ample room in the bust and you can wear a standard bra, so this is a great style for those with larger busts! It has a fitted slip underneath the outer shell, and hits about knee length. It is fitted at the natural waist, so really shows off your curves!

Admittedly the dress does run a bit small as far as hips go. Standing up I had plenty of room, but when sitting it wouldn't really work well. As a 34J it was a joy to zip it up and have 0 issues. The dress hugged my body perfectly and breathed well. I would call it more of a 16 rather than a 16W since I do fit in other size 14/16 dresses, but I could cough it up to vanity sizing. Who knows! The length was perfect as someone who has trouble finding mid-length dresses, and I got plenty of compliments on it the entire night. Great dress.

The fit was very small and very snug through the shoulders. I typically wear an 18, but I am very glad that I sized up and got the 22 as a backup! It also ran a bit short (although I do have long legs at 6'1"), so I found myself pulling it down every so often, and I found that it did bunch up a bit underneath my boobs so I found myself smoothing that area down a fair amount. But the dress itself was fabulous! I got many compliments throughout the day and found myself feeling more confident than ever. You'll love it! Give it a try!

The sleeves are very cute, but kind of bunch up. Same with the waist. It may be because I'm both busty and hippy, but there was a definite fold. You can tell in the second picture that it doesn't detract from the dress.

Loved this dress, but it was a little too loose around my butt and leg area and tighter around the arms. The 4 probably would have made it difficult to raise my arms. Otherwise, it fit nicely.

Loved this dress - I did feel that it ran much smaller than the last two dresses that I rented. The dress is very structured and fit me well without a bra. It's a beautiful dress for anyone with an hourglass shape - it accentuated my waist. I would definitely rent again.

I did have to size up to a 20 in this dress vs. my normal size 18. I found that the inner lining feels tight on your thighs, but isn't uncomfortable, it almost feels secure. When you sit down, because of the tight inner lining, it will ride up quite a bit. I was at an event that was majority standing so it wasn't a problem for me. I have fairly large arms and the armholes were not tight on me at all, in fact I had some room. I loved this dress!

Loved this. The fabric is so luxe and it has pockets! My 19 year old daughter said that it was a Michelle Obama dress. :) The fabric is kinda shimmery. It might be a bit much for work, but I wore it anyways and felt amazing all day.

The pattern and embroidery make this dress special. It's simply lovely. Would be great to wear to church, Sunday brunch, easter or a spring/summer party. I wore it to a banquet at a work conference. As far as fit goes, it was not very fitted through the waist and a little tight across my hips.

Wore this to a charity breakfast at a very fancy country club and got compliments from the minute I walked in the door. The fabric is gorgeous and the dress fit me like a glove. Loved the pockets. I sometimes have a problem with the arms being too tight with sleeves like this but that was not the case for this dress.
