I rented this dress for my anniversary weekend. We stayed in a fancy hotel in Houston and had dinner/drinks. My anniversary is in March right before it gets warm here in Houston, so this dress was perfect for the cold night time weather while still being a floral pattern for spring. The dress is a wrap fit and ties high up on the waist which is flattering if you have some curves under there like me. I do have a tiny rib cage (32D), and wear small tops, etc. The small size wouldn't wrap around, so keep that in mind. I ended up wearing the Medium. The dress has a high low cut at the bottom so your shoes will show. I wore this with some strappy black chunky heels.

The dress was a little bit longer than I had expected. I am only 5'6" and I suppose the model is much taller, so this dress came to just above my ankles. I wore this dress for a brunch date at a fancy hotel. It was lightweight and flowy, perfect for daytime but because of the color, it could be worn at night too. I wore the medium because that's all that was available, but I think I could have fit in a small. The top of the dress kept falling down and was looser than I'd like. With a pin, it was fine though and I could wear a strapless bra. Also the dress was short in front but not too revealing so I didn't have to worry about my cellulite showing. I rented this dress for my March Anniversary. We were having dinner in a very posh hotel restaurant where the decor was pink and floral. I wanted my dress to match the restaurant, and it did perfectly! Since we were having an unseasonably cool March in Houston, I wore it with a jean jacket over, which I felt looked very cute. I wore the dress with a strappy tan shoe, millennial pink bag, and some nice big earrings. I was able to wear a strapless bra with no issues. I am 5'6" and my shoes were only a couple of inches tall; the regular length fit me perfectly. The only reason I rated the dress a 4 instead of 5 was because, even though the straps were adjustable, there was still some weird gaping at the chest, like the strap needed to be pulled tighter. However I think it was due to the wear of the dress. Like maybe someone stretched the dress out at the top at some point. Overall, I think this is a great dress for a shower, garden party, spring or summer event.

I rented this dress for my 35th birthday. My husband took me shopping and we went out for an early dinner in a restaurant in a courtyard. It was the perfect dress to be outside walking around from shop to shop and for dinner. I really felt I got good use of it since I wore it all day. I wore it with beige leather wedges and a grey beige handbag. It had great movement and I felt so pretty wearing it. The only thing deceiving is that the cut of the dress is pretty tight on the hips. Usually I can get away with a size 4 in a maxi dress but that's because I'm rather small on top and have pretty wide hips. But I did need to wear the size 6 in this dress. So in the hips, I'd say it fits true to size. So size up for your butt/hips if you have 'em.

I wore this dress for a mostly outdoors wedding. It was a afternoon ceremony held outdoors with reception that ran from about 4-9 pm under a tent. The tent had 3 sides covered, but was mostly an outside feeling wedding. This dress was the perfect mix of nature and dressy. The ruffles and material moved beautifully and I got a ton of compliments. I wore 2-3" grey-beige strappy heels with the same color handbag. My nails were nude and toenails a dark greyish purple. I wore a nude strapless bra and this worked fine. This dress has alot of give in the bottom. I had some gained some weight in my hips and was afraid I'd need the size 6. But since the dress was so flowy at the bottom, I could wear my regular size 4. I would definitely recommend this dress for an afternoon, evening event. I think it worked perfectly because of the darker colors of the dress for evening.

This dress was perfect for a garden party for my 5th wedding anniversary. I felt like the belle of the ball and it fit perfect with the setting. The dress fits true to size. But keep in mind that designer dresses are a different sizing than off the rack. So if you're a size 4 in Banana Republic or White House Black Market, then be sure to order a 6 as an option. If I'm 130-135 lbs, I can easily fit in a size 4 in this design, however the photos shown are a size 6 since I didn't want the dress to be tight and I'm around 140 lbs at current. The top was a bit roomy on me (I'm a 32D), but nothing that some internal safety pins to my bra couldn't fix. The regular length was perfect with some 3" heels (I'm 5'6").

I'm 5'6", 131 lbs, and the 4R fit perfectly. The zipper was a little sticky, not because it was too tight but just because it seems like the zippers on these rentals are always sticky. But with the help of my hubby, he got it just fine. The dress has great movement and sways as you walk. I was able to wear a strapless bra with no issues. I matched it with some wedges, Elise M. Madagascar Gold Arrow Earrings, Elaine Turner cork bag, and baby pink mat nails. I got tons of comments on the look all night. Our bartender told me that my look was 'on point', and I agree! I felt like a 10! There was a big table of girls celebrating a bachelorette at the restaurant, and later on my husband told me that as we were walking out, their conversation totally stopped as I walked by. I rented this gown for my husband's NASA "Dining Out" event. The "Dining Outs" are very similar to what the military does if you're familiar with that. They're formal, and all the military people wear their dress uniforms. I knew that my husband's work colleagues and bosses would be there, plus the astronauts, so I didn't want to show too much skin. I loved the lace detail around the neckline and bodice. And I felt that the material was very stretchy and sucked me in. The only thing I'll caution is that this dress was extremely hard to get into as it had no zipper. I tried putting the smaller size on when I received it, and barely made it out. Do yourself a favor and make sure someone is there with you when you are putting this dress on and off. My husband was out of town on the day the dress arrived, and it was extremely difficult to try on the dress without his help. I would recommend putting on the dress and then doing hair and makeup. I was able to wear a black strapless bra with no issues. I wore a thong underneath, and every time I went to use the rest room and pull the dress back down, it was so tight that it almost made my thong come off. So I would recommend either going without or wearing a spanx like garment that is super tight and won't roll down.

I wore this dress to an outside fall wedding in downtown LA that took place right outside the LA Public Library in a beautiful courtyard. This dress could not have been more perfect for the affair. The sleeves and length gave just the right amount of warmth so I wasn't cold after the sun went down and it was a little chilly. Of course the dress is just so glamorous that it was absolutely spot on for the downtown glam feel of the event. My husband and I even used a picture of ourselves taken at the wedding for our Christmas Card this year. As far as sizing, the 6 fit me perfectly, and I am typically always a size 6. When in doubt, I fall back on my trusty Herve bodycon dresses for a night out. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary with a little vacation in Galveston, TX, staying at the Galvez Resort & Spa and going to a nice dinner. This dress was perfect for the occasion, and I got many compliments. I wore my usual Medium in Herve, and it was plenty snug. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 as the top of the dress was a little too loose. I think it's maybe just a bit worn out from all the rentals because the top stretched to where it was showing a large portion of my bra and bra straps. I'm not necessarily flat chested (32DD), but I think that maybe the Small wouldn't have been as loose as the Medium was. I simply had my husband pull the dress at the back and gather the extra fabric into a safety pin. Since I was wearing my hair down, you couldn't tell it was pinned. I found the dress was tight in all the right places around the hips and such, so it really sucks you in and is slimming. I would definitely recommend this dress.

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner at a super fancy yacht club in Charleston. I definitely felt like a bombshell wearing it and received a lot of compliments. The fabric is gorgeous, thick, luxurious and a beautiful cobalt blue. It hit right at the knee for me, and the slit was sexy but still classy. I wore Assets (brand of Spanx made for Target) super control mid thigh shaper. I just made sure that I didn't pull the legs down too much, and I had no issues with it peeking out of the slit. They make a high-waist one too, but I didn't get that one because I thought it would show through the cutout. The cutout was right below the bra line. I had on a pretty sturdy strapless bra that had a little bit more fabric below the cups to keep it from slipping down. I had to readjust the dress to keep it pulled down so that the bottom of the bra didn't peak out of the cutout. I was out of town and this was my only bra choice or else I would have just worn a regular bra, and that would have been fine. I wore this dress with the RJ GRAZIANO Stone Age Necklace from RTR, and it was the perfect combo.

I wore this dress to an evening southern wedding in Charleston. It very much fit the occasion. I would typically wear a 6 in a dress like this, and I could get into the 6R, however the 8R felt a little more comfortable. I would recommend ordering a size up in your backup size. I am 5'6", and wore 4" heels. The dress didn't feel too short, but it did show a bit of the heel. I would say if you are any taller than 5'6" and are wearing heels, order the long. The dress was very light weight, which is perfect for an outdoor affair. It is much less layered than some other dresses (for example Halston Heritage), and the material is definitely thinner. So with less layers and thinner lighter fabric, the dress does feel more casual. The colors are beautiful in this dress.
