It felt like this dress was made for my body! Loved wearing it that evening

The dress fit perfectly. It wasn't so tight that I couldn't dance the night away but it was formatting and slimming. I can't wait to rent it again! 

The gown is nice. The 6 regular fit well, I wish the 6 long would have been available because of my 4 inch heels but the 6 regular wasn't bad.  I wasn't comfortable with not wearing a bra which is pretty much what the dress required because of the transparency in the front.  I did use the adhesive stickers (to give my chest a little lift) instead of an actual bra, and since they were a nude color it worked well.  I belted the dress and put on an antique broach to kind of "jazz" it dress up a little (although it's nice on its on). The one thing that I didn't like was the sleeve on one of the arms had a pretty significant snag in the material (pictured above). And when I went back and read the reviews for this dress I saw that other renters reported the same thing.  I immediately took a pic and sent it to the RTR customer service.  Since it was so late and I planned my accessories around this dress I opted to keep it and they said they would give me a 25% refund.  I hope they inspect the dresses (especially this type of dress) a little closer to ensure they are sending out nothing but the best to their customers.  This dress did get a lot of compliments and the long sleeves helped to protect me from the cool area in the big ballroom. 

This dress was AMAZING!  The compliments were never ending.  I felt like the bell of the ball in this gown.  I HIGHLY recommend!

Fit like a glove, ran true to size
Wasn't too happy that the the netting on the upper right sleeve was damaged and hastily repaired, which was very obvious to me. I carefully took the botched stitching off and redid it myself and was pretty impressed! 

I wore this to Mardi Gras Ball. It was perfect. I got so many compliments. I got a 2P & 2R and wore the 2R because I needed it for the lenght with my heels. It was very comfortable to wear all night and dance in.

I am an exact size 2 and this dress fit perfectly. I'm 5'4 and it was not too long. I wore heels and it was the perfect length. The only area that fit a little strangely were the arms. The dress was a little big in the armpits but nothing too noticeable. 

Beautiful dress that fit like a glove. I'm 5'4" 110 lbs and wore the size 0R.  The main issue I had with this dress is it came with several rips/ holes in the netting part of the dress that i had to sew up before the event. 

I think it fits true to size. So comfortable and absolutely stunning! You will not regret! 

I am 5ft and the regular size worked just great with a 2 inch heel. The zipper always catches on the waist (not due to fit or wrong size since I tried on multiple sizes).  Wore a nude spanx below to get full coverage for my cleavage - wasn't that noticeable!  Great dress! 

Pros: You get two different sizes to try out and I went with the same size dress, but did two different lengths incase the petite was too short. But, the regular worked better for me. 

Cons: Bra shows through, so I would suggest wear a cami underneath that's skin-toned.

I got SO many compliments on this dress! It's floor length and long sleeved, so you get a lot of coverage but it fits like a glove so it's still sexy.  I wrote it to a black tie wedding and I'm SO glad that I rented it. I wore tan heels (but was thinking about metallic heels also)--the dress has so much going on that you don't need to add much else to it. I'm usually a 6-8 but I wore a 4L in this (it was the only size they had) and it fit perfectly.  

Fits true to size, 5'8" and ordered the long length, it worked out perfectly with 3" heels. I ended up wearing a black strapless bra underneath and my family thought it was a part of the dress it blended well (better then a nude colored one).  Small note, there were 2 small holes by the armpit area, the fabric is quite delicate, but were not visible enough for me to not wear it. Overall very comfortable dress and would highly recommend! 

This dress is even prettier in person. It was perfect for the gala I wore it to. I got compliments all night long! My only regret is that RTR was out of size 2's and I had to go up a size. It would've been even better if it was more fitted. 

This was the perfect dress for a fall, black tie wedding. People were coming up to me all night long to ask where I bought the dress.

The neckline and sleeves are sheer, but you can wear a regular bra because you can't really see it. This dress was super comfortable and I was able to dance all night long.

Now the bottom of the dress kept getting caught on my heals, but I just pinched the side to hold it up a bit when I walked.

I put that this dress runs big because I'm basing that off of bridal dresses. In reality this dress probably runs true to fit in more of the Mall store sizing. Generally I wear a size 2 in most designers but in bridal dresses I am a solid 6. When renting this dress I ordered the 6 regular and the 4 long as my backup and I'm very glad that I did. The size 6 was very large. The 4 was also a bit loose but still very comfortable. Overall I enjoyed the fit and feeling of the dress it was very light and the pattern of the lacework was spectacular. Just a note on the lining of the dress though there is lining which covers your breasts, but there is no lining that covers your sternum area. The pattern in the lace work is busy enough to camouflage bras but if you do wear a bra with this dress try to match it to your skin tone as best as possible. Another note I have is on the link I am 5 foot 3 inches and I wore 4-inch heels to the wedding and the long was perfect! I would suggest that if you do decide to wear heels with this stress to get the long length as opposed to the regular.

Runs fairly large, I ordered two sizes and wore the smaller one. Also runs very long - I'm 5'4 and wore 4" heels and was still catching my heels in the back of the dress all night. I wouldn't recommend stilettos: the ones I wore kept getting caught in the hem because the outer fabric is mesh. I had to be very careful when walking. Otherwise very comfortable to wear. Sleeves are generous, so a good choice if you're looking to cover your arms. Great dress for transitional seasons and evening events.

Dress fit perfectly, I wore a nude bra with it without showing. This dress even works for someone who is shorter. 

This dress fit me to perfection and I loved wearing it and was complimented on t numerously. However, because of its netted manufacture it had many holes throughout that from a distance were not noticeable but were of up close and paying attention. I can see this shredding lots during each wear. Other that that fit me perfect and I felt like a million bucks! 

I've found BCBG to run large and this dress was no exception.  I usually wear a 4 in most dresses, but the 2L was perfect with a 4" stiletto.  Wore this to a formal benefit and received compliments all night.  It was easy to wear - striking without being too revealing.  It was a little warmer than I expected given the open lacework in the bodice, so something to consider.  Despite the RTR styling tip, I preferred a black bra for less contrast with the black deco patterning.  Such a treat to wear a standard bra!  Would definitely rent this one again!

This is easily one of my favorite dresses.  I wanted something long sleeve but not the typical lace - so this is something a little different.  It has a touch of sex appeal with the low cut nude lining in the breast area.  I actually wore a regular nude strapless with out and you couldn't tell.  Got so many compliments!

Used this for my fiancés company party and felt like a million bucks. It's the perfect mix of formal, sophisticated, and sexy. It was very comfortable, but runs short. I'm 5'3 and it was short on me in 4 inch heels. 

The zipper needed a helping hand, and until someone invents a solo zip up tool, grab a beau or not so creepy neighbor to lend some dexterity. Otherwise, this dress fits true to my size, loved the details, and I felt beautiful. 

As others have mentioned the dress is a bit short, I'm 5'6" wearing the dress with a 4.5 inch heel and you can see them peaking out. It worked out, but I actually thought it was going to be floor length. No matter because it was gorgeous and comfy. I work black plunging neck line spanx with it and woulsd recommend at least a plunging neckline bra if you rent it. VERY HAPPY!  

I really loved this dress! Only con was the dance I went to had strict dress code standards so I ended up having to wear a bandeau under it, but it looked like part of the dress. That said I don't think I could have gone bra-less with this dress and I'm small chested. I tried it and it just hung oddly, but it ended up working out with the bandeau. 

Other than that the dress was so cute and the 4L was a prefect size (definitely go for a long if you can) even had a little train in the back! So many compliments!

Great fit for my shape, very lightweight, and interesting to look at.  Glad I chose this dress for my engagement shoot.  One con would be that the 4R was too short, or at least you could fully see my shoes.

Loved the dress. Really wished they had a 6L due to the 4L fitting very snug. 6R was too short! All around it worked for the event and I am very impressed with this service! I accessorized it with a rhinestone belt, copied a pic from another RTR alum, and loved it! Many compliments! I didn't wear a bra! Thanks for the uploaded pics! 

I received so many compliments in this dress! I loved the design and it was comfortable. I couldn't wear a bra, which caused me some stress but ended up working out fine. I'm petite, so the dress was a bit loose and a little long on me, but not enough for anyone else to notice.

I loved this dress and I received countless compliments all night. I ordered the 4R and the 6R. The 4R fit better through the body but the arms were too tight, so I went with the 6R.

I'm still struggling with some post baby weight so the size 6 was a perfect choice for my 5'3" 135 lb curvy frame. I did not need to wear a bra and spanx gave me the slimming that I needed in the waist. The dress was a little "loved" but it has so much going on with the netting and pattern you really couldn't notice the snags. It also had thumb holes that snap for a little added style. Overall I was very happy with the dress; style and fit! Kept me warm for a winter wedding in Ohio.

Received the dress on time. Rented a size 4 with a size 6 as back up. I ended up wearing the 6 which was very snug and barely touched the ground. This dress runs very small, I wish I would have been able to try the size 8 because I'm sure it would have fit perfectly. Either way I made it work and I felt amazing in the dress! I read lots of reviews about what under garments to wear, I had success with a nude bustier. Also, if you are well endowed (I am 34F) I would suggest going up a size.  I can't wait to have another reason to rent this dress!!! Love it!

I wore to a black-tie event and received a ton of compliments; this dress really stands out in a crowd.  I normally wear a size 4, but, because I overindulged too much during the holidays, I should've gone with a size 6 if it had been available.  The 4 was a little snug across my broad shoulders and at my hips, but I would say it is true to size.  I am 5'7" and wore 3" heels and the length on the 4L was perfect.  I used clear silicone adhesive bra pads to help keep some shape, and they were not visible through the dress.  Great experience with Rent the Runway; I will definitely use them again!

Dress was super comfortable revived compliments all night! Wore for a wedding.  I'm 5'3 111lbs 34D fit perfectly!!! No bra needed! 

I rented this for a NYE black tie wedding a reception. The fit is true to size and fantastic. There were definitely some flaws in the dress (light weight material that has snags in the overlay and obvious attempts a being repaired) but overall it was a great dress.
