I loved this dress! It hit all the right places and was so comfortable. It was a little lighter than I expected, which was a good thing since I was concerned about getting too warm while dancing at the wedding. I'm 5'4" so I though the petite size would work perfectly. It fit, but wouldn't allow me to wear heels so I ended up going with the regular size which worked perfect with the 4 inch heels I wore.

I wore this to Mardi Gras Ball. It was perfect. I got so many compliments. I got a 2P & 2R and wore the 2R because I needed it for the lenght with my heels. It was very comfortable to wear all night and dance in.

Pros: You get two different sizes to try out and I went with the same size dress, but did two different lengths incase the petite was too short. But, the regular worked better for me. Cons: Bra shows through, so I would suggest wear a cami underneath that's skin-toned.

The dress fit perfect. It's very lightweight and hugged my little belly perfectly. Great dress for any weather.

I felt like Khaleesi in Game of Thrones in this dress. It was a total jam and fit perfectly. I don't normally wear long dresses let alone long dresses with sleeves, but this dress was amazing. I felt like a total babe.

This dress was a glamazon's dream! I wore this to a wedding and received compliments from many. If you intend to wear heels, I'd suggest going for the long version of the dress if you're 5'5" or taller. Very fun dress to wear!!

I normally wear a 6, but the size wasn't available for the event so ended up ordering a 4L and 8L. The 4L fit perfectly. It was definitely one of the most unique dresses at the event I was attending. If you want to be noticed get this dress.

I could not have asked for a better dress. At first, I was skeptical because of the long sleeves in 80 degree weather, but the material overall was surprisingly thin and breezy. Also, it hides your imperfections pretty well while the design complements your body at the same time. Overall, I received TONS of compliments and social media likes! If you want to be seen at an event, wear this dress!

I received compliments ALL night! The dress fit perfectly. Little Skin exposure to keep the dress sexy! It was light weight and did not get too hot in it. Especially on an 80 Degree LA day! I didn't wear a bra with it and everything stayed in place, but if you are worried i would get pasties. I will definitely rent again for another Black Tie Event! I wore this to a black-tie wedding, and it was such a huge hit! I was getting compliments all night. It was super comfortable, sexy, and elegant. The arms are baggy but I was expecting it so it wasn't a problem for me. I would highly recommend this dress! You will definitely stand out, in a good way.

I rented this dress for my daughter to wear to her prom--she normally wears an 8 (5'7", 145lbs, C cup). The dress runs large, so the 6 fit perfectly. It was extremely flattering and elegant. She received compliments all night and looked beautiful! One caution--while the dress is lined in the bust, there is no lining between the bust, so it would not have provided coverage appropriate for a 16 yr old. She wore a black bandeau under the dress in order to keep it modest.

You have to go glam with this look. You can't wear it otherwise.

As described by others, the fit ran a little large and a little short, so we ordered the 10L and it fit perfectly! This is such a gorgeous dress, with the sheer black layer over the nude slip dress (a bit hard to visualize in the photos but a great look on).

The dress fit true to size. To be honest, the 2R also fit me, but I opted for the 4R because I attended a foodie event and I wanted to leave room for all of the snacks I intended to consume! There was one small snag on the left sleeve, but it was barely noticeable. I am 127 lbs and 5'5"; I wore 4" heels and the R was the perfect length. The dress was amazing–beautiful, comfortable and good quality. There were many pretty dresses at the event, but time and time again, I got stopped by attendees who "needed" to tell me that I was the best dressed. I truly felt like the belle of the ball! Seriously, my dress got more comments than my husband's beard did–and trust me, that's saying something!

I have long legs and a petite torso but the length of the regular worked great! I would suggest getting boob tape because the center panel is see through till right above the belly button. I normally wear a 0R and this was a little loose but the smallest size. If you don't normally wear dresses and aren't sure of your size get what you think will be right then also a size up. Over all a fantastic gown and super sexy without being slutty.

Though it does have nude paneling if you wear a bra a significant part of the cups and straps show (yet I don't know how you would not wear a bra with this. Since I had a black bra it looked as if it was part of the detailing of the dress, but if I only had a nude one I would have been in trouble.

Good stretch through the arms, fit snug but not too tight. You can't wear a bra with this one though!

This dress definitely runs large, so I would recommend sizing down. It also runs short - I'm 5'7 1/2" and I wore a three inch heel and it was just the right length. The regular length would have been way too short. Also, a fuller busted woman might have an issue because this isn't really a dress that can work with a traditional bra (and even strapless might not work). But, if you get the specs right, this dress is amazing! Fit like a glove, and so unique! I was actually the emcee at the event I attended and wanted to stand out and I definitely did - the compliments were coming all night!

I rented this for a roaring 20's theme charity gala. This dress was beautiful! It fit TTS. I got compliments all night long! Great experience using RTR. Will definitely be getting my next formal dress from RTR.

I wore this gown to a black tie event. It's gorgeous! I had a couple issues with this dress, but overall I loved it and would definitely recommend it. First of all, it does run big. I would suggest ordering a size down for your back up. I read some of the other reviewers comments about it "fitting like a glove". It didn't on me. It was a little loose and I think it would have looked much better one size smaller. The neckline is stunning, there are nude panels over the breasts, but in the middle (cleavage area) it is just the lace overlay. Your cleavage faintly shows underneath. I couldn't pull off the no-bra look, I absolutely had to wear a strapless bra. I have a C cup and need support, but if you don't need support, bra-less is the way to go. In the stylist notes they recommend wearing nude undergarments, but I tried it on with a nude bra and didn't like the way it looked. I wore a black bra instead and it looked much better. The part of my bra that you could see just looked like part of the design of the gown. I also wish the length was another couple inches longer. I'm 5'8" and wore 3" heels and you could see quite a bit of my shoes. With all that said, I would definitely rent this dress again!

This dress was a huge hit at a black tie event. I had a baby just 10 weeks before the event and the dress made me feel very confident in my new shape. I chose this picture because it shows how sheer the dress is (in photos) and the underlying nude fabric. The nude fabric does not cover the chest area completely so a normal bra will not work. If you are larger on top (or recently had a baby like me )then you have to be clever with how to support the chest. Overall I lOVED this dress and would rent again. I normally would rent the regular length but the Long was fine with my 5'5 height and just 3 inch heels.

This was my favorite dress I've ever rented. I recommend for formal attire wedding or galas. It was even more stunning in person and fit perfectly. The dress doesn't hit the floor even with heels so find something that will go with the dress. I didn't wear a bra so if you are more endowed the me take that into consideration (normal B cup) Don't hesitate with this one you will love it!

I love the pattern on this gown! With the long-sleeves, it's ideal for a winter black-tie event. The material is a bit lighter than I would have expected so spanx are definitely a great way to help show off your figure. It runs true to size, but I would size down as backup especially if you are smaller busted. I would be wary of this style if you are larger busted because the lining cuts very close to the breast area. At 5'7" the regular length was short on me so definitely order a long if you are 5'7" or taller (including heels).

Are you ready to feel like a million bucks?! This dress had compliments coming all night long! The fit was perfect and true to size. I am 5' 4"/130lbs and I wore the 4R. Normally I would have preferred the 4L to accommodate for higher heels, but it was winter and I just wore some shorter booties that didn't show. This dress made me feel slim and sexy. I loved the mesh around the arms and around the top of the dress. The dress kept me warm but the mesh in the sleeves made for a nice breather in the ballroom! It hugged in all the right places and held in all the places that need holding in. All in all I would definitely recommend this dress!

I rented this dress for a Great Gatsby themed event and it was PERFECT! This dress fits true to size. I am 5'6". The regular length is perfect if you want to kick off your heels and dance barefoot or wear flats as the night progresses. There is tan paneling in the dress, but you'll need to find the correct bra as there is is no paneling from the collarbone to your bellybutton. FYI--A tan bra (not sheer) worked perfectly, but you can see this in close-up, well-lit pictures.

I am 5 ft tall and this was a tad long still with 4 inch heels. I almost returned until I realized it was exactly what I wanted. Winter wedding, so covered me, yet panels offered the illusion of being revealing. The 2r fit perfectly besides being a little too long. Also this dress is completely sheet in the front sternum area- which I was unaware of. I am a 32DD and didn't need a bra but if you need support I am not sure what bra I could have worn.

I wore this dress for my winter engagement photos. The dress was so beautiful but ran large. I normally wear a 2 but I was swimming in the 2R, especially in the arms. It photographed beautifully though and was extremely glamorous and comfortable! Sure to make you stand out.

This dress runs a bit large I'm normally an 8 and ended up wearing the 6. It hugs curves beautifully and fits like a glove. I wore it to a black tie wedding and I got so many compliments on it all night. It's the perfect blend of sexy and class. I'm 5'5 and got the regular and wore it with 4" heels and feel like i could have used another inch or two in length. Also as other reviewers noted there is no nude underlay through the middle of the bust so your bra options are limited.

This dress was included in my rental as a first-time user of RTR and I'm so happy I took a chance on it even though it was a new arrival at the time and there were no reviews. I instantly fell in love with the dress when I saw it online and it was even more gorgeous once I put it on. The fit ended up being great. It was long on me, but I wore it with 6-inch heels with a platform which made the length perfect. The fabric is very light with good movement so I was totally comfortable wearing it all night for an awards ceremony. It was hard to take the dress off at the end of the night! I was happy that I didn't have to wear a bra with this dress since I'm super anti-bra. The dress made me feel incredibly sexy and sophisticated and I received many compliments during and after the event. The only negative thing I can say is that there was a minor tear in the mesh of my particular dress near the hemline, but it wasn't noticeable. Absolutely in love with this dress, it was very flattering and fit me perfectly!

First of all, I immediately fell in love with this dress from the moment I saw it on RTR. I had a holiday party to go to with an "Old Hollywood" theme. This dress was beyond perfect for it. I'm tiny and ordered a 0R, which there wasn't an option for me to get a 0L, but it worked out perfectly in the long run. I typically wanted the gown to be floor length but it was just past the ankle length. But in the end, the length was perfect because I probably would have stepped all over it. Again, I'm a size 0 but there were still a couple of areas where I wished it had fit better but it wasn't that noticeable so, no big deal. I will say though, that the dress had a very odd smell to it so I sprayed tons of perfume without trying to kill someone, including myself. Haha. But that was my only biggest problem with it. I don't know if it was the dry cleaners, the bag it came in, or the previous user, but the smell was very annoying at first. But other than that, I got compliments on the street from random people as I walked up to the party, tons of compliments at the party and even more compliments for days after the party at work, from friends and through social media! The dress was killer! I would most definitely rent from RTR again!

Stunning, everyone had to stop me to tell me about what a beautiful dress i was wearing. I rented a "4L" because the "4R" was not avaialble and the "L" just the right length not too long. I wore 4" heels and the dress barely hit the floor. This dress was to die for!!!!

I fell in love with the dress as soon as I saw it on the website. However, they only had a 2L size for the weekend of my party, no 4's. I decided to order the 2L and was trying to add a back up in a different style but the system wasn't letting me add it and the 2L was the last one left so I quickly placed my order. I then emailed a customer service rep to add on the additional style dress, because who knew if this dress was going to fit? I asked if there were specific measurements, but no luck. Fast forward to last weekend for my event...only the 2L dress was delivered (Friday night - my event was Saturday). No back up dresses!! It was a MIRACLE that the 2L fit.. It was snug, but I loved this dress and was going to have a Tim Gunn moment and Make It Work.. Loved wearing this dress and felt like I was going to the Oscars. Got a ton of compliments, but the stress of only having one size delivered was too much!

I wore this to a formal charity ball and while the fit was pretty exquisite it did feel it was about an inch and half short in length. Either way, I felt pretty and I had so many random people say so. I will definitely rent again! As it worked out perfectly and saved me a ton of money which I could then give to the charity ;)
