I ordered a Small and the Xsmall as a backup.  Out of the box the color was different from what I was expecting but absolutely stunning; medium grey with a slightly purple undertone.  I wore the small, but half way through the night I realized the Xsmall would have been better as it  stretched out quite a bit.  Beautiful dress overall.  Very classy and sexy at the same time.

This dress fits like a glove. At first I was nervous about wearing such a tight dress but it was so comfortable and I got tons of compliments. Lots of people say you can't wear a bra. I'm a 34F so that was not going to be an option. I wore a bra as well as spanx to help with my post baby bump and had no problems with anything showing. I would definitely wear this dress again. Loved it!

So sexy and perfect for night out. Definitely can't stuff yourself at dinner but otherwise perfect

This dress is amazing! Yes, it does run small but I believe part of its appeal is that it fits like a glove. I rented this for my birthday weekend and I felt so special in it! Definitely one I wish I could keep! Well worth the rental price :)

Wore this for my rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding. I got a ton of complements. My husband to be couldn't keep his hands off me. Too bad he had to sleep alone that night. Teehee! 

I am about 5'9" and 135lbs and ordered the small and medium. The small was uncomfortably tight so I was really grateful for the bigger size. This dress is a purply/grey color and is super flattering. I wore a strapless bra and the dress was tight enough that it gave me an extra lift. Wore this to a Gala event, would definitely wear again for a party or new years eve, could be a little too scandalous for a wedding. 

The fit was almost perfect for my petite, curvy body. The elbow length felt at a weird spot on my arm. When I pull it smooth, it's 3/4 length on my arms but over time, it would ride up into my elbows. The material is a heavy bandage so it dug into my skin a little bit but nothing too serious or uncomfortable. It was hard to use the restroom however because you need someone to zip you into this dress. (I went to a Herve Leger store to try on the sizes and the SA told me if you're able to zip up the dress by yourself..it's too big for you.) I was able to pull it up over my hips but it was very difficult due to the tight nature of the dress. That being said, I loved the way it looked and it's well worth the hassle! Not uncomfortable at all to wear. Holds everything in, lifts in the right places. I wore a backless sticky bra underneath. Definitely recommend. I wish I could wear this dress everywhere :)

My bust is 32D, waist = 27 in, and hips are 37in. Hope this helps you guys figure out the fit! The XS (my backup) fit but it was waaaayy too tight where the waist was digging into and underneath my ribs. It gave me an upside muffin top because my ribs were pushed out. 

The dress fit pretty true to size. I usually wear between a 2 and a four, and the small fit like a glove! Though it is very snug! I had to wear an extra padded bra to fill out the bust, but the dress itself was gorgeous. It accentuated my curves perfectly, and made me look slimmer. The color is much prettier than it looks in the pictures. My boyfriend really liked it also.  All around beautiful dress, and perfect for a wedding. I recommend it a hundred times over! 

It is very tight so I suggest ordering up a size. Otherwise, it was surprisingly comfortable. 

I had my eye on this dress for some time before deciding to take the plunge on this Hervé.... Boy was I happy!  It is very form-fitting, true to any bodycon dress, but it pulls in all the right places.  I am short and curvy so it accentuated all my "assets"!  It did feel heavy at first but you'll soon forget about it when you feel amazing and dance the night away in this beauty!

This dress is a head turner in person.  It is a beautiful color.  I was nervous about renting a body con dress because although I work out a lot and recently dropped 20 lbs. I was afraid you'd need to be in perfect shape to wear one.  The dress is a little forgiving.  I was able to wear a regular bra underneath but if you aren't too busty you can get away without one.  I am 36DDD.  The dress is very supportive.  I was able to wear spanx underneath but a waist trainer would show through.  It's  a thick material so it was cozy but would have been too much for warm weather.  I didn't have to tug on the dress it basically melts on to your body and stays there.  So comfortable, but you'll have to change your normal stride it does constrict the legs a bit.  Just for reference I am 5'3" and about 168 lbs when I rented this.  Between an 8 and 10.  If you have broad shoulders or muscular arms this might not fit properly.  I got compliments all night, people were staring (in a good way!) and my husband was pretty awed by it.  I would definitely rent this again.

I got both the S and XS, and went with XS. the dress is definitely snug, but stretchy enough so you can move... Or dance all night! I don't have one complaint! I wore spanx and bra cups and both were perfect! If you are looking for a bandage dress... This is a KILLER pick!!

Rented this dress for a wedding and loved it! The dress arrived on time in great condition. It fits just like any other Herve dress, tight but flattering. Will be renting this dress again! Customer service with RTR was amazing as always as well! 

I loved this dress. I was not sure which dress to choose for this event but I ended up going with this one and loving it. I received many compliments and the dress was so comfortable. Reading other reviews I was going to go with the medium but thank goodness I got the large because that's what I ended up wearing. I am tall with curvy hips but barely any butt so the dress was a great fit and length. My sister tried it on who is 5'3 curvy with a butt and the dress was unflattering and way too short on her even though we are able to share almost all other clothes. Also, I recommend wearing spanx. 

Herve is always a good fit. I wore a strapless bra, so no problems with straps showing. 

Yes, this dress runs small but WOW does it make you feel amazing! I love how the material sucks you in in all the right places and makes jiggly parts look smooth and sexy. 

Wore this for dinner and a show in Vegas and it was perfect. I'm glad the weather was warm enough to not need tights because I'm not sure it would be comfortable to wear with anything underneath, period. 

I would happily rent this dress or another Herve Leger again!

Color was nothing exciting, but with the way the dress fits you don't need it to be a flashy color. This dress was super comfortable and was so flattering. I felt and looked awesome in this dress!! 

if you think you wear a small, order a medium. if you think you wear an extra small, order a small. if you think i'm kidding, be prepared to have someone help you in this dress and to not pee all night. : )

it's such a gorgeous dress. made so well, the material is thick and heavy but doesn't feel that way when you wear it. most people who rent herve leger dresses know the sizing issues going in, and as long as you keep that in mind, everything else about this dress in flawless. whether you're wearing it to a formal wedding or a night out on the town, this dress is definitely memorable. 

i'm a little over 5' 6" and this dress was not too short. I wasn't pulling it down all night. it hit me at about the tip of my middle finger when my arms are by my sides. I wore a regular bra and it did peek out a bit but fashion tape would have fixed that. a strapless bra or no bra would work better but the tightness of the dress will smoosh the girls, which is why I wore a bra. 

overall, I love this dress. would love to own it. got a ton of compliments on it, and even with the color being more tame, the dress speaks volumes. loved it!!

The dress runs small.  I would definitely size up if you have hips and a butt.  


I wanted to wear a long dress to the wedding but unfortunately the dress I originally reserved came back damaged from the previous renter. This dress is sexy but with the sleeves, is still classy for a wedding. It was fun to dance in and didn't ride up. Also, you can eat like a pig and this dress keeps you sucked in like spanx. Most importantly, it hugs every curve and makes the waist skinny and the booty look amazing. 

This dress fit amazing.  It hugged all the right places.  Was slightly difficult to find right bra that would not show but dress is some form fitting, didn't really need one.  

This dress was truly beautiful.  Be aware that it hugs really tight, so if you are like me be prepared to suck in all night, but it was worth it for all the compliments. :)

Read reviews, fell in love, but was concerned about sizing. Dress fit like a glove, held up and tucked in all the right areas with no creeping up from the bottom, AND I was able to wear a strapless bra and hose without anything showing. This girl's got nothing bad to report! 

This dress fit like a glove. Got so many compliments  and my boyfriend absolutely loved it!  I felt fabulous in it. It did flatten the boobs though so I wore an adhesive bra to push them up a bit.  Love Herve Leger!!!!

Formfitting, sexy, sophisticated! Wore this to my boyfriend's holiday party. I was a little hesitant to wear this cause I've been slacking in the gym. This dress pulled it all together and I even wore spanx just because but didn't need too. I'm 5'4, 126lbs and 34C. I rented a small and the medium wasn't available so I ordered the Lets Get Loud dress in M as a backup. I ended up wearing this one cause the other didn't arrive in time due to #stormageddon and this one surprisingly fit much better trying it on the second time. I'd recommend this rental for a cold weather holiday party or fall event. It's classy and a nice color hue!

The dress stays put! I was concerned it would look trashy, ride up so that unwound have to pull and adjust it all night but I've never been so comfortable in any other dress...so much so that I rented it again for another event this weekend ( I wore this last weekend) wearing a strapless bra was easy and strongly recommended. I didn't put on any shapewear because this dress did it for me. Dress was short but not inappropriate at all. It was the perfect balance of sassy because it hugs curves and shows off the neck area but tastefully covered because it's long sleeved and leaves plenty to the imagination. 

Perfect dress for a fall wedding!! Everything about my first RTR experience was great. I ordered this dress along with the clutch, earrings, and bangles on Thursday for a Saturday wedding and the shipment got to me by 11am Saturday morning!! The dress fit like a glove. I am 5'7", 127 lbs, 36c and the medium fit perfectly. The only reason the small was my back up was because the large wasn't available- but I definitely didn't need it. I'm pretty curvy and have wide hips and this dress hugged every curve in all of the right places. My chest isn't as big as this dress made it appear so I don't know how it would work on busty girls. Definitely will use RTR again. Felt like a movie star in this gorgeous dress that I definitely wouldn't be able to spend $1400 on!!!!  Can't wait for my next order!

The great thing about Herve dresses is that they keep everything in place! I got compliments on the "girls" all night long! Finding a bra that didn't peek out on the sides was a little bit of an issue since the dress has such a wide-cut neckline, but it was manageable. I wore this to an album release party in LA and it was absolute perfection!!! I was sad to see it go.

This looked amazing on my tiny 16 year old daughter! she favors the designer for obvious reasons- her little figure looks amazing it this. It is difficult to find dresses that fit her, this fits the bill

This dress ran small. Wore on a cold rainy day for a march wedding. I was not cold. The fabric is very thick, I would recommend for a cold weather affair. Received many compliments and felt great! 

Loved this dress! I rented it for a trip to Las Vegas with my coworkers. I wanted something Vegas-y, but still classy, and this was perfect. It was fitted and showed some cleavage, but had sleeves and wasn't too short (I'm tall, so length was a concern).  

I paired it with nude strappy sandals and large hoop earrings (to tone it down just a little). The only problem I had with fit was that the hemline would ride up when I walked.  I tried using fashion tape to keep it down but that felt weird, so I just went with it. 

I've always wanted to wear a Herve Leger dress, and I was very happy with my rental. I had a baby less than a year ago and didn't need to wear spanx to feel like it gave me a smooth fit.  My bust is much larger than usual because I'm nursing (maybe 36DD), but I just used some fashion tape at the neckline to keep it from slipping down, and that worked great.

This was not my first choice of dress, and I'm EXTREMELY disappointed it wasn't! This dress is a real show stopper. I had people stopping me all night asking if I was a model! It fits like a glove... no need to wear spanx!! The color is far prettier in person than it is online, it has some purple undertones to it. If you're looking for a dress that is classy yet sexy, this is the one. 

Very flattering fit, slimming and a great length (not too short, I didn't spend the night pulling it down). The material is a little on the heavy side, so it was a little warm. 

This dress is fab! Yes, it's tight. Very fitted indeed. However, this is what Herve Leger dresses are known for and it's not uncomfortable. It shows off all of your curves because of this and makes you feel ultra sexy. Accept the fit. You'll be glad you did. I wore this dress to attend a fashion show and everyone thought I was one of the models! Lol. Some people said that the fit was so snug they went without a bra (even as a D cup!). I, however, just couldn't seed myself doing it so I holstered my D cups in a regular bra and it was fine. I also wore a thong for fear of panty lines. Overall, fantastic dress!

Wore this for my husbands 40th bday when I was 16 weeks pregnant and fell in love. Got a ton of looks (maybe for being pregnant in Vegas?). Was able to feel super sexy for my husband. 

Great dress. Fit very snug in all the right places. Did order a medium and large as my backup. Dress runs smaller I usually use a medium size but opted for the large. I got a lot of compliments all night. The material is rather thick so beware if you want to wear on a hot summer day. 

The dress fit perfectly, like a glove and has a stretch to it which is essential.  It was November in Texas so the long sleeves and short hemline was perfect.  The color made it easy to accessorize and considering how tight it is I was pretty comfortable.  I didn't get so many compliments on the dress and I did on how great I looked in it.  

The fit is obviously very tight, but helped to keep everything in place.  Definitely felt like I had to pull up the top a few times, but I expected that. Would love to rent again!

The Small definitely would have been a better fit but the medium worked out just fine. The XS made it to my waist but there was NO WAY it was zipping up any more than that. I received lots of compliments all night. Wore it to a work party where we had to impress potential clients. By all accounts it was a success. I would recommend renting this for quality alone. Very flattering. But if you're my size you want the Small. :)

I have always wanted to rent a Hérve Léger dress and when I planned a girls weekend vacation to Vegas I knew it was the perfect reason!
I usually wear a size 6 or 8 dress so I got the medium. When I first tried it on, I didn't think it would work; I could barely walk and there was no way I could sit! I have pretty curvy hips. Then I bought some spanx, tried it on again, & ta-da! FAB!! This dress definitely sucks you in and hugs your curves. It's meant to be tight, but I would definitely recommend some kind of shape wear underneath, it will make a huge difference.
I got so many compliments wearing this dress & I felt like a million bucks - I highly recommend it!! 

When in doubt, I fall back on my trusty Herve bodycon dresses for a night out. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary with a little vacation in Galveston, TX, staying at the Galvez Resort & Spa and going to a nice dinner. This dress was perfect for the occasion, and I got many compliments. I wore my usual Medium in Herve, and it was plenty snug. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 as the top of the dress was a little too loose. I think it's maybe just a bit worn out from all the rentals because the top stretched to where it was showing a large portion of my bra and bra straps. I'm not necessarily flat chested (32DD), but I think that maybe the Small wouldn't have been as loose as the Medium was. I simply had my husband pull the dress at the back and gather the extra fabric into a safety pin. Since I was wearing my hair down, you couldn't tell it was pinned. I found the dress was tight in all the right places around the hips and such, so it really sucks you in and is slimming. I would definitely recommend this dress. 

This dress was a show stopper. I'm 5'3" and weigh 125lbs with a chest size of 32C/34C. I wore the small and it fit like a glove. The medium also fit but was not as perfect as the small. I got a ton of compliments on this dress and I felt amazing in it. The material is really thick so it kept me warm - no jacket needed! Two thumbs up!

My first Herve Leger bandage dress!  Definitely runs small.  I'm usually a 0-2 or XS but the XS was way too tight!  The small fit great, very form fitting!  You will look amazing in this dress, holds everything in!  The fabric is thick-wore this in cold December without any problems.  I will definitely be renting another Herve Leger dress!!!

I needed help getting into this dress (lol) which makes it awesome once it is zipped because it sucks you in like a corset. I didn't wear any bra or spanx because this dress squeezes the life out of you. You have to be a little careful in the bust because a girl could just jump right out when your not looking. But if your looking for that body con head turner look no further than Herve 

I recevied many complements on this dress in person, and from photos. It was very comfortable and form fitting. The color was simple enough that it made for a clean, sleek look even though the dress is a tighter style. I did feel the square neckline rode a little low and the shoulders were a big large. This would be fixed with a shorter torso and broader shoulders. I was very happy with this rental!

This dress is tight, but does a good job smoothing everything out. You'll need to wear a strapless bra otherwise it makes you look really flat in the chest area (I used fashion tape to keep my bra from showing because the dress is low cut). The dress is a definite head turner, I got a ton of compliments wearing it!

I rented the M and L for a wedding out of town. When I initially tried on both dresses I was not wearing the appropriate undergarments so the large appeared to have fit best. On the event date I wore Spanx and a strapless bra. The dress was loose in the shoulders and I ended up taking my bra off half way through the night because it kept peeking out. The dress had enough support to go without so I felt ok. As the night went on the dress stretched out a little. I felt very comfortable in it and loved the way I looked. It was sexy and not too short or revealing and hugged all the right places. 

Fit like spanx!! Holds you in where it matters...everywhere. Got tons of compliments. Very sexy

Ran small which I expected, wore a size small could have worn a medium but the small was fine for my 30th bday party (maybe not so for a wedding)

I loved the color of this dress!! I was able to wear my colorful valentinos with it! I got a lot of compliments, and I would deff rent from this website again! The only thing was that the shoulders were a little big but other then that it fit perfectly.

Fits like a glove! The only con is that the neck is soo wide that almost any kind of bra strap would show. I went without a bra because I thought it looked tacky peeking through the front. I did receive tons of compliments the whole night. 

The dress hugs you in especially if you have boobs. I didn't have to wear underwear. Dress was comfortable all night. 

Could have worn the small, however went with the medium to provide a tiny bit more breathing room for the night's eating and drinking. Loved this Herve!

This dress is perfect for those who like dresses that squeeze and hug as tightly as possible. I have a very small bust and even though I felt like this dress would look better with those who can actually produce cleavage in pictures, I felt like I was risking nip slips all day/night since the cut is incredibly low (a lot lower than I had thought). My arms are one of the biggest parts of my body in comparison to my usual size, and yet the sleeves were slightly too big for me. I was slightly uncomfortable personally, but my boy friend and many people complimented me all day, so I think the dress was a pleasant success.

The dress is very tight. It definitely holds everything in but It's difficult to zip the dress up your own so have someone there to help. All in all I felt beautiful in the dress and I would definitely rent it again.

It fit perfectly. The neckline reveals a lot of real estate; I gave up trying to make it work with any kind of bra, but it's snug enough and I'm small-breasted enough that I think it worked. And yeah, no underwear. 

Fit like a glove. Was a great dress. I was bloated and you couldn't really tell. Only thing I didn't like was the bra situation. Had to keep pulling the dress up to cover the top of my bra- wore strapless. Also, the shoulder area was a little loose. Wouldn't suggest for peak summer months wedding, but for anything else it would probably be perfect. 

Gorgeous dress. Would have been perfect if it was an inch shorter. And also felt it was a little large in the shoulders. Otherwise fit was amazing. And it's really comfortable. Would be difficult to wear a bra in this one. 

Was a great dress for a semi-formal event where a tight-fitting, but sophisticated Herve Leger fit in perfectly. I loved the color because I could play up gold accessories. Only con is for small-busted women as myself, the shoulders stick up a little bit. The collar cuts low to the point of having a wardrobe malfuction if your small-busted and I had some extra fabric on top as the dress was designed for women with bigger busts. Lingerie tape is a must (and works great) with this dress if you are a B cup or smaller! Otherwise, this dress is great. Herve is great when it comes to sophisticated but sexy bandage dresses, a classic!
