this dress is absolutely beautiful. the cut is gorgeous and flattering and the fabric is AMAZING. i haven't worn a straight-across strapless anything in years, but i took a chance on this dress and it totally paid off. HOWEVER, the top runs very small. i have a slightly bigger rib cage and a large chest and i needed a lot of help getting the top zipped (the waist was fine on the smaller and larger sizes). this isn't usually a problem for me and i noticed that the hook and eye was already bent out of shape a bit when i got it (so it looks like i wasn't the first with this problem). still -- no regrets. i actually hope to rent this dress again for another wedding!

i love the way this looked on me. had to go for the large, because the medium was too short in the rise (and i have a pretty short torso), but it was super cute. i wore it for valentine's day dinner the first night of the cruise i went on with my boyfriend (we had reservations at the ship steakhouse). it was very skimpy, with lots of see-through lace. i usually dress pretty modestly, but I don't mine showing some skin when i go out and the romper would have been fine, had i been out in on the town in NYC. for a cruise ship with a lot of older people and families, however, it felt a little like i was wearing glorified lingerie amongst a bunch of people in mom jeans. that said, i thought it was super cute and would consider renting it again for a girls night out in the city or similar.
