Man this skirt feels EXPENSIVE! Loved the drape. Wore as a long skirt with heeled booties and as a midi dress with a belt and a denim jacket. Beautiful either way.
Definitely a little tricky to style but once I figured it out, I really liked it. The band at the top is just elastic, which surprised me, but it ended up not looking bad. The picture included is how I wore it for work, but I also wore strapless with flashier gold jewelry and a silk scarf for brunch with friends.
I started out wearing the dress with a belt and then took it off to let my 24-week bump do its thing! Very flattering and sophisticated dress - I wish I could keep it! Wore a strapless bra and didn’t need shape-wear otherwise.
rented for a wedding at 16 weeks pregnant -- wasn't fully popping, but had been feeling very frumpy. this dress transformed me into my the girl i was pre-pregnancy! it was a bit tight at the very top but still worked. i got so, so many compliments and loved wearing this dress.
I wore this dress as a long skirt with a tank tucked in and a belt and loved it, thought about wearing it a second time to a dinner party as the dress shown in the picture. For the skirt, I wore it high waisted and 3 inch heels to keep it off the floor.
Wore this with a striped tube top to add pattern, short blazer and pointed toe flats. With the tube top, it was more of a skirt look. Agree with others that it's a little challenging to style if not wearing like the model. I liked the feel and weight of the fabric. Pleats were not as crisp as I would've liked, but had enough of the look. Would definitely wear again.
I wore it with a belt and fun shoes to dress it up for a black tie event while 20 weeks pregnant. It was comfortable and I got compliments.
Dressed this up and down. Very versatile piece made of great fabric.
runs large, id order a size smaller. very simplae dress I wore to a blak tie gala. leaves room for some fun and/or nice jewelry to accent
It was so cute with a belt! Didn't end up wearing it but was comfy and stayed up even tho it was strapless
I wore this for a costume and it worked for that. Was not flattering and really can't imagine trying to wear for a regular night out.
I like the idea of this dress, but I'm short and it made me look like i was wearing a potato sack. Would be better for someone tall and slim.
Sore for a wedding while pregnant. Was comfortable but not particularly flattering.
I didn’t wear it. It was huge kept sliding down
This is basically just a skirt that you pull up over your boobs. And it looked like it! Because of the elastic "waist," you can choose between having armpit/back muffin top, or having to constantly pull it up all night. I did not end up wearing it, as I didn't want to field questions of "are you wearing a skirt as a dress" all night.
Didn't wear
Huge, shapeless, with a super tight elastic band around the top that is sooo unflattering
The reviews and photos are very deceiving. This is basically a maxi skirt acting as a dress. I don't know how you would wear this comfortably as a dress. It looks ridiculous.
Pictures are deceiving. Looks just like a long pleated maxi skirt that JCrew had in a bunch of colors a few years ago. Elastic band around top
Sadly, this was a flop for me. I rented this to have an unstructured, flowy look (I'm 19 weeks pregnant) but it really didn't work. The material is quite heavy and almost rough (seemed like some sort of thick cotton?), which combined with the pleating meant it didn't really drape or move at all and just kind of hung there unflatteringly. The top is also an exposed, completely unadorned, 2" thick band of elastic - not only not flattering from a fit perspective but super casual / informal looking. All in all this really didn't work for my needs - maybe it would be better if worn as shown with a belt but even so I would caution folks who want to wear this even to a cocktail dress code event.
