Not going to lie this dress was amazing. Kind of glad my original rental was returned damaged, got this as a last minute backup/replacement! I had 0R and 2R. Both fit (I've got big boobs and that's really the only place it 'fits' in since it's loose elsewhere), but I went with the 0R because it was a little more snug and I felt I would have less issues with it falling down. I do NOT generally wear strapless because of that reason. The boning in it helps it hold up nicely. The boning fits tightly on the waist so if you're square shaped it might not be the best fit for you. The length was perfect and I wore big wedges.

Didn't wear it
I rented this to wear to my sister's rehearsal dinner. They didn't have the size I thought I'd be but I liked it and the reviews so rented one size up. It actually fit perfectly but did this weird gathering thing around my waist - it like didn't go in enough at my waist, despite fitting perfectly elsewhere. also the scalloping on the hem didn't lay right so I didn't wear.

Great Dress for small chested
I rented this for my mother in law and she wore to a wedding. It looks fabulous on her! She's about 5'5" and currently an A cup and weighs probably about 115.

If you want to feel sexy as heck rent this dress!
WOW. All I can say is I am SO SO glad that whoever ruined the backup size of my original dress did that because I got this one as a 'consolation' dress from RTR. I rented it in the 38L and the 40L - I'm usually between a 0/2. I am 5'6.5" and I definitely needed the long - I wore it with some great 4 inch Ted Baker "Amenoa" shoes and it was the perfect length of just skimming the floor. The material is a scuba-like material, without being terribly restrictive. You step into it and pull on - DO NOT put on deodorant before you put it on or you might get it on it and it's hard to get off. The getting on part is a little cumbersome but once it's on it fits like a glove. I could have worn the 40L but it seemed just a little bit roomier so I went with the 38L. It's stretchy so if you're between sizes you'll probably fit in the size down just fine. It does limit your stride a little, which takes some getting used to. I wish there was a bit of a slit up the leg, but to be honest that might have been over-the-top sexy so never mind I don't wish that. If you're very large chested the slit across the chest might be a too much for a wedding - it was just enough on me that it was tasteful. If you are flat chested it would probably look really awkward. The best part was even though it's a very form-fitting, flattering dress I felt no need for spanx because of that cool ruffle thing on it (impossible to see in photos, no photo could really capture how cool it looks). It disguised all of the potential food-babies.

Runs Small - fantastic dress!
I usually wear a 0 and ended up in the 2 for this one, the backup size. I could have worn the 0 and it would have been fine, if I wore it without a bra. It's a thick enough lined material that I could have done that, but since I had the backup size and it also looked great I just wore that. I got compliments all night! I wore this to a formal event for my husband's company's 20th anniversary party. It was great to have something that was sexy and classy at the same time.

Didn't end up wearing it
The length of the dress (0R) fit perfectly on my 5'6" self with 4+ inch wedges. However, I'm fairly chesty for my size and have broad shoulders. The dress fit everywhere except it puckered and cut into my armpits really badly. It was like the armpit holes weren't big enough. So, I ended up wearing the back up dress. I think a 2R wouldn't have fit because it would have been big elsewhere.

Compliments all night!
This is a fantastic dress. It's light and airy - the material is so comfortable. I wore a racerback bra and it was fine in the back, but in the front my straps sometimes peaked out... so I recommend sticky tape! I literally got compliments all night at the wedding. People would come up to me and just say how much they loved the dress. The XSR fit normally - I'm 5'6" and wore 4+ inch wedges.

Perfect for an Office Cocktail party!
I think this dress is absolutely fantastic. The length is very elegant without being overly formal. The neckline was a bit of a pause for me - I'm somewhat busty - but I believe that the length of the dress evened it out. If you are an extremely busty person I would avoid this dress though. You CAN wear a regular bra with it - I would just suggest a black one and have fashion tape for the straps. It does have those 'hook' thing at the shoulders to guide your straps, but the problem is that the straps on the dress are very wide on your back, so the straps in my bra didn't really align well. Some fashion tape would have helped. As it was I spent the whole night tucking them in. I usually wear a 0, and the 0 fit perfectly.

This dress is absolutely amazing. I got compliments all night! It was so much fun to dance in and twirl in. The high neckline also gave it a really sophisticated, chic look. I got married back in January, and I kind of wish I'd found this dress then for my bridesmaids! People were asking me all night where I got my dress.

Someone stretched it out
I just received this dress and got both the 0R and 2R. For reference, I am 5'6" and the 0R is the perfect length with almost five inch heals. If you're short, this isnt' a dress for you - get the petite length if possible. The slit on the side in the 0R gapes backwards towards my butt. Whoever rented this before me seems to have stretched it out with their butt. The fabric seems bent and weird. I tried on the 2R and it does not do that - the slit falls straight down, instead of gaping backwards. Also as an FYI, the 2R was slightly longer than the 0R, but I could still walk in it. Additionally, I rented another dress, a Bagley Mischka and in comparison this dress looks cheap. So, I'm not going to be wearing this dress.

Didn't end up wearing
I didn't end up wearing this dress - I was told that my original size, a 0, was damaged and so I would still get my backup dress (they didn't have a size 2 available so I got a 4 as a backup) but I would need to select another dress. When this dress arrived, I still tried it on. The 4 actually fit quite well, but I could tell it was supposed to fit silghtly tighter - there was some gaping on my armpits and stuff. However, any tighter might have been obscene on my hips. The lining is very thick - if you're not overly blessed in the chest department, you could definitely get away without wearing a bra, as long as the size fit you well enough to hold them in. A 4 on me would have let mine swing a little bit freer than I prefer. Additionally, the hemline was falling out as if it had been ripped open. I was very suprised that got past RTR's QA team.

Couldn't tell where my booty was all night!
This dress ran large. I usually wear a zero, but it was very tight on my chest/shoulders so I wore the 2. The reason it was very tight on my chest/shoulders was because that's practically all it touches! The skirt poofs out after your waist, and is quite a structured material. Therefore, I was worried all night that everyone could see my butt! When I walked, the dress hit the front of my thighs, but never the back (since obviously I don't generally walk backwards). So, while it was cute and I got a lot of compliments, I just felt so uncomfortable in it all night because I was worried, I wouldn't rent it again or recommend it to someone who is... less endowed in the posterior department. However, after a few glasses of wine I cared a little bit less about that...

SHOWSTOPPER! Not suggested for busty unless you want your cleavage in everyone's face!
So, I wore this to a wedding. I wore the 0R and it fit - but it really does bunch up around your hips as other reviewers had stated. I'm quite thin but I do have hips and I had to wear disappearing undergarments to make it look normal. Since the overlay material is quite sheer, you can very much see the bunching of the underslip layer. I wore it with 4.25 inch platform wedges (google: Seychelles Women's Eye To Eye Wedge Sandal and that's what I wore) and the 0R fit perfectly. I am 5 feet 6.75 inches tall. Anyway, if you're planning to wear to a wedding, you may feel slightly uncomfortable if you're larger chested. However, a smaller chest might cause gaping, so I'm not really sure what to tell you. I'm fairly well endowed, and literally got compliments all night - many of my girlfriends told me my boobs looked amazing. And, that's fine, but I personally prefer not to be all up out there at someone else's wedding, you know? I also am not the type of person who likes to display much cleavage in the first place. So, if you are, you might be ok with a larger chest. Just know that all eyes will be directly on your cleavage all night.

Really pretty, understated dress for a daytime graduation
I wanted a light, breathable dress to wear for my husband's MBA graduation, where I'd be outside all day! However, I'm not attaching a picture because it ended up being kind of a cooler day, so I had to wear a cardigan over it the whole day. It fit very well, was nice, and breathable and understated. However, the only comment was that the 'pucker' for your boobs seemed like it hit a little bit above where my boobs are. I do have kind of a long torso, so I'd say if your torso is longer, keep that in mind. It wasn't noticeable to anyone but me, though, but it did kind of bother me - hence the only 4 stars.

Cute dress for a Spring Horse Race
Great dress! I usually hate strapless dresses and very very rarely wear them because I feel like they fall down. I took a chance on this one because it was so cute, and I'm so glad I did! This bodice has boning, and the waist is very fitted before it 'floats' out, so it sits atop your hips (however if you don't have hips that might still present a problem) which keeps everything right where it needs to be. I never once had my bra show, had to pull it up in front, or anything. I forgot it was strapless! I'm somewhat busty but not terribly so - anyone with bigger than a D chest might have issues with it still, because the boning isn't extremely heavy duty. So, keep that in mind.

Pretty
This was a really pretty piece, perfect for my wedding. It is more curved than it looks I. The pictures - not just a straight line as it looks. However, I wish RTR had a bridal rental plan. No one wants to rent something for the big day and not know how it looks. I just rented this a month early for my hair trial. Kind of annoying that I have to pay to rent it twice. I wouldn't pay for the RTR pro but I definitely would have paid for a bridal subscription or something for the 6 months leading up to the wedding.

Unforgettable dress!
I wore this for our engagement party in mid-September. I am SO glad I went a size up for my backup size - I'd been considering going a size down. However, with the way the armpit-holes are cut, and the zip up on the side not the back, I couldn't even get the 0 to zip over my bust. So, I went up to the 2 and it fit perfectly. So if you bust is a bit disproportionate to the rest of you, maybe size up for your back up size. As a side note, it looks like it is stark white in the photo, but it's actually more of a parchment white and black. I ended up wearing it with some beige wedges and it was very cute. I am glad it was a bit off-white because it was not a formal affair, so I was able to dress it down (I felt if I'd worn black heels I would have been over dressed).

interesting
Based on other reviews, I ordered the regular length for my 5'6" self. However, I definitely couldn't wear high heels with it - but I don't wear heels often so that's not a big deal. I bought this during the clearance sale, so I probably should have bought the long one and had it hemmed to my perfect length. The interior lining is much smaller than the actual dress. I ended up having to cut the lining just for my bust to fit! I'm not extremely busty, but I do have an hourglass figure. Also, it only fit over my head - the zipper doesn't zip down any further than your waist, so it was hard to get over your hips. The dress itself is actually stretchy and forgiving, so I may go and have the zipper replaced and add a longer one that goes further down the seam.

a memorable dress!
This dress was really pretty and memorable. The low back made a big statement. However, from the waist down it was oddly tight - the size 2 may have fit me, but i felt like it was painted onto my hips, while it fit comfortably from the waist up. It's a bit sheer so plan to wear nude underwear. I wore no bra/sticky bra with it because I didn't have any and it was lined enough and the pattern was there, so I didn't feel exposed. The biggest complaint was that the strings to hold it onto the hanger kept showing through my armpit holes. Not really much I could do about that, other than cut them off, but it wasn't my dress so I couldn't. Anyway, it ran pretty small but that's what I'd heard about the brand already. I ordered a 2 as my main size and 4 as my backup because I'd read the reviews, and I'm so glad I did because I would have felt very uncomfortable in the 2. EDIT on 5.28.2014: I was about 10 lbs heavier than my normal weight last May when I wore this, so the 2 and 4 were appropriate. If I rented it again today, I'd rent the 0 and 2 and the 2 would probably fit fine. (It ALMOST fit fine, I just didn't like how tight it was on my hips). I had no issues with the sleeves falling down, either. Also - I'm busty with big hips but NO butt.

Great for a horse race
So this dress fits really weird. I usually wear a 0, and a 0 fit for the most part, but was really tight on my chest (My chest is not small, but not big by any means). Also, the 'boobs' part, the apex of the boob was really high. Like, whose boobs are up that high? I mean, I don't have low boobs by any means, and I even wore it with a pushup bra to try to make up that difference, but there was still some gaping, though the 2 even was kind of tight across my chest. It was like it had enough room for my chest, but in the wrong places. The 2 also was way too big on my waist. I realize I have kind of a weird body type in that I'm small but happen to also have some chest, but this was unusually odd. Also, it cut into my shoulders/armpits quite a lot and was chafing by the end of the day. But - it looked really cute in pictures and didn't LOOK like it didn't fit. But, had I been able to try it on in the store I would not have purchased it. Lucky that I got a backup size because my normal size did not fit. I would say it runs small, but it just runs kind of weird.
