Runs a little small, so get a size bigger as your back up size.

I found myself pulling up the top throughout the day, and for that reason wouldn't have purchased the dress, but it was very fun and cute for the day!

Comfortable, true to size and good length. 

Rented this dress for my college grad. Super fun, bright, and was complimented on the dress. Overall fit large in the top for a 4. I had to wear a padded strapless bra to keep it from falling down but it could have been worn without a bra. Great dress, would rent again! 

I've been renting from RTR all through college but this really was my favorite rental yet! I didn't end up wearing a bra with it to tone down the cleavage and it still fit snugly all night- there's boning in the bust which is a necessity for a strapless dress for me. The colors are bright (you can tell better from the outdoor pictures) and the length was perfect! Definitely a dress I'll be renting again! 

I rented this dress for Easter.  I was complimented on facebook for finding the quintessential Easter dress! :)  Flattering fit, it will be short if you have long legs.  It would also be cute to wear to a baby or wedding shower in the spring. 

Very cute dress, perfect for spring. I wore it for Easter. The boning hurts you a little after wearing it for a while. Fit well, has a little liner underneath to make it fuller in the skirt area which I liked. 

This dress can be dressed up or down. It was fun and so comfortable.  I received tons of compliments and my husband even said to buy it. 

I wore this to go wine tasting with some of my girlfriends.  The day turned out to be freezing, so that was too bad, but not the dress' fault! I carry most of my weight in the hips so the usual size 6 might be kind of misleading for a dress like this, but I'm a 32D and the size 2 was by far better than the 4, so smaller busted girls might want to keep that in mind. Overall, a really fun and tasteful dress for a summer party, wedding, or outing!

I wore this dress for my graduation ceremony, and it was perfect! I'm usually a size 0-2 in Lilly Pulitzer, so I ordered a size 2. Unfortunately, it did not fit, but RTR was so hopeful and overnighted me a size 0 and 00. The 00 fit perfectly (much to my surprise) and didn't fall down or anything. I will definitely be renting this dress again in the future! 

RTR has the best customer service. My backup size wasn't available and I only received one size in my order. I was going to dinner and wasn't sure which size would fit better a 2 or 4. I called RTR for assistance and the stylist was very helpful in finding me a different back up size dress. She had it shipped overnight. It would appear that I am in between a size 2 and 4. I wore this dress in a size 4, but it fit a little large. This wasn't one of my favorite rentals, but it is very pretty and perfect for Spring/Summer. I'm very appreciative of RTR being so helpful and understanding.

I rented this dress for an Easter party that I hosted and it was perfect. I felt like it was a grown up version of the Easter dresses I wore as a child but obvi more stylish. I wore the 00 and it was still a little big on me which is amazing as it's the smallest size it comes in- I'd definitely recommend ordering a size or two up. This would be a great dress to wear to any spring or summer  affair! 

This dress was so comfortable and summery. I wore it to my engagement BBQ and received many compliments on it. It was extremely flattering and I'm actually considering buying it. Another RTRW success!

I wore this to a beach a wedding. The colors and style were perfect and I got a ton of compliments! This was my first time wearing lilly and i loved every second of it! I do wish it had pockets but other than that a great fit!

I wore this to my "Tea Party" Bridal shower and absolutely LOVED wearing it! It was fun and flirty and perfect fit! 

It was comfortable, perfect length (short & fun, but still appropriate) and definitely larger on top- so helps to have something to hold up the dress!

I rented this dress for a Hawaiian vacation.  I wore the 4 but it was so large in the bust I had to wear my VS add 2-cup sizes bra.  It was cute but not my favorite rental.

The flowers on the dress are so fun and colorful. I got compliments throughout the night on the dress. I would say it runs a little on the big side. I sized down like others suggested and was glad I did so. I also partly picked the size 2 because the colors on the size 4 I received were very faded. I couldn't believe the stark difference between the colors in the two dresses.  I was so glad the 2 ended up fitting because the colors looked so much better. Overall I enjoyed wearing the dress. 

This was my first time renting and I will definitely be a returning customer!!! I rented this dress for an outdoor spring wedding I was going to and it was perfect! It is very true to size. I wore it with simple dolce vita wedges and some pink stud earrings because the dress really spoke for itself! Love lilly & I LOVE RTR! 

The dress fit pretty well but seemed to run a little larger than normal. Perfect length for shorter girls!

This was the perfect dress for my Kentucky Derby party.  The colors were even brighter in person than in the picture on the site.  It fit very well and I received a lot of compliments!

This dress was absolutely perfect for an Easter brunch with my family. I got so many compliments on it. Our waitress thought it was the cutest one in the restaurant.  My only complaint (a minor one) is that it was a little large. I'm almost always a size 0, but I could have worn a 00 in this dress. It wasn't a big deal though, I used used double sided tape to keep it from slipping down. I would definitely rent this dress again. 

I am 116lbs and a 32D+, based on others reviews I ordered the dress in a 2 & a 4. In hindsight, I wish I would have ordered a 0 and a 2 because the dress run large. 

Pros: the dress was very comfortable, perfect for springtime, and I received a ton of compliments.

Cons: the dress runs small, the boning/wiring inside the dress did not bother me, but I can see how it may bother others. Also, if you are fairly petite this dress would most likely be too big for you. 


Fits like most Lilly dresses, very cute.  It had a few moments of "pulling up" because it's strapless....but for the most part it was great! Very bright colors that do alot for the dress & making you look a little tanner than you are! 

Fun flirty dress, great for a summer beach wedding

I ordered a size 2 and 4.  Although both sizes fit, I ended up wearing the 4 because it felt more comfortable underneath my arms.  

Loved this dress. It was great for a cheery bright summer bday picnic (and easy to spot when people were trying to find us). The bones in the top were a little uncomfortable while sitting, and by 6:00, i did change into shorts. Also, the bone on one side kept poking out the bottom of the seam and sticking me. But overall, I loved that it flattered my figure. (very pear-shaped w/ 32DDD bust) Definitely got compliments!

I ordered this dress for a day long outdoor college event and it was definitely comfortable enough to wear and move around in all day. It does seem to run a little bit larger, as I normally wear a size 4 but wore the size 2. This may only be because I needed it to be tighter on top though. Overall my experience with RTR was great! I loved the dress, got tons of compliments, and everything was very easy.
