I loved how the dress fit. The slit on the side makes a conservative dress more fun but definitely was not so high that it felt inappropriate. 

After a last minute dress debacle the stylists at RTR were helpful in selecting this beautiful DvF dress as a replacement to the original unavailable dress. It was a blessing in disguise as this drop dead gorgeous dress was far better than the original and way more appropriate. It fit like a dream, flowed beautifully and was a show stopper. It is much more of a teal/turquoise than the baby blue shown on the website. Would rent again in a heartbeat, sad
 to send it back. 


RTR came through at the last min (per usual) to get this amazing dress to me. It looks very basic on the model but I found that it gave me great shape and the color is amazing. There is a very sexy slit on the side as well that makes it classy yet edgy. I wore with white heels to a wedding in Miami and it was perfect.

Color is outstanding… the fit was perfect.  The length was spot on.  And combined with the wrap, the dress was non stop compliment city!!!  Highly recommended…


Honestly one of the best rentals I have ever gotten! I got so many compliments! It  has an asymmetrical cut in the back which takes a second to get used to, but the slit up the side is amazing and the dress fit beautifully! Can be dressed up or down - I wore it out at night and I also wore it during the day on vacation.

The pictures do not do this dress justice. The color of this dress is so incredibly vibrant and the fit was perfect. There is a slit on the side of the dress that just the right amount of skin. I would HIGHLY recommend this dress to a friend.

though the photo doesn't show it, the bottom of the dress is just amazing -- the heavy fabric falls and flows slowly, making for a very graceful, watery vibe. the slit is much higher than i expected, giving an otherwise simple dress some sex appeal. the color is also darker and more saturated that the RTR photo shows -- would look beautiful on tan and darker skin.
I'm medium height, but the long worked better for me.

I absolutely loved this gown. The color is so bold and the slit at the leg really adds a fun touch to an otherwise standard silhouette. It ran very true to size and I would definitely recommend SPANX due to the fitted nature of the style. Would highly recommend it with a bold necklace!

Color is great! Went with 6 because 4 was a little tight. Tough to disguise underwear line and Spanx were out of the question with the slit. Seam across waist did sit a little strange on my body. Was recommended to order a long based on my height but when I decided to wear flats vs. heels i probably should have gone with regular. Overall a gorgeous dress! 

This dress worked out beautifully, although I will mention that the cut is a little nontraditional - rather than vertical seams down the sides or back of the dress, there are seams running diagonally across it.  I think this may have contributed to the pucker at my right armpit that you can see in the photo I posted; however, I didn't find it to be that noticeable. The slit creates nice movement and is not too high when standing, but when sitting for dinner, I was glad that I had a napkin to cover that side of my leg because it came up a little too high!  I am 5'6" and wore 4" heels and the 4R was the absolute perfect length.  I ordered the 2L as a backup just in case, and it was too small, so I'd say this dress runs true to size. It was a great dress for a balmy Savannah wedding!

The fit was a bit odd around the waist, I'm assuming this is because I have a curvy bottom and the dress is made for more of a straight body type but it still looked amazing. Undergarments are an issue, you can see all seams! So make sure you go to VS and figure that part out for yourself. Also, I'm 5'4 and the dress was almost to long even in the Regular size so wear tall heels. I loved this dress and would definitely recommend it!

I am so impressed with my RTR experience! Amazing customer service. The dress I wanted to wear was a little short and they responded so promptly. Luckily this was my backup dress and worked. I was at a black tie event that was work related. This was conservative enough for work, but the slit made it fun and sexy. I wore 5.5in heels and the length was perfect. I think it was a little big in the waist/top. I wish I'd ordered the 2L as a backup size. But the 4L still worked. It was also nice to wear a regular bra. Will definitely use rent the runway from now on.

Wore it to an Opera Foundation gala - it was black tie, but I wanted to do an interesting color.

As my original dress was not available, I chose this as my replacement. It was very comfortable, the perfect length and the color is really pretty. The slit is pretty high, so you have to be aware when sitting or bending over, but it didn't get in my way. Overall I was happy with the dress!

No complaints...simple, clean lines and beautiful, flattering colour!

This dress was gorgeous.  The 4L was the perfect length for me, it still dragged the floor slightly with 3 in. heels.  I generally can wear a size 2, but the 2L was slightly too tight at the bust/shoulder.  The 4L was a little too wide for my narrow hips but it still fit well overall.  The color is slightly darker than pictured.  The slit is not nearly as intimidating in person as in some of the shared photos.  When you're standing, it is more or less hidden as shown on the model.  However, you do have to pay attention to arrange the dress before sitting down.  I would definitely recommend it, thanks RTR!

This was my back up dress. Although it fit very well, I didn't wear it. It showed too much of a very large tattoo on my upper left back. It was a fundraiser for my church. But, I will order it again for another occasion. 

Simple but elegant. Great fabric. It hugs but fabric is forgivable. I am 5'6.5" and I should have gone with the L. It just touches the floor without heals on but the extra fabric would have been nice for heels. 

Color is great! I would rent this dress again but in a size up. I had ordered the 4 and although it fit, it didn't fit right and there were bulges of fabric at odd places along the back 

I am 5' 3", 106 lbs and 32DD. The size 0R fit well. The color is beautiful and definitely stood out in a sea of black. You need to wear at least 3" heels, as it is rather long. It is also fitted close to the body, so be sure to wear the correct undergarments. I was hoping I could wear this dress with a normal bra, but ended up wearing a strapless, because the straps were popping out. Overall, I really enjoyed the dress.

I wore this dress to a wedding in St John - perfect for a beach wedding ! Beautiful color - excellent detail on the back of the dress - it is a bit long.but it worked. I wore it with 3" nude wedges and it was perfect Another perk of this dress is that you can wear a regular bra with it :)

I rented this dress as a back up dress and did not wear it.  It is a beautifully constructed dress.  The material is heavy and drapes well.  It is more suited to a very thin, athletic body type than someone with curves.  The color is stunning.  

The color was really pretty and I got a lot of compliments that it looked great.

I just received this dress and got both the 0R and 2R. For reference, I am 5'6" and the 0R is the perfect length with almost five inch heals. If you're short, this isnt' a dress for you - get the petite length if possible.

The slit on the side in the 0R gapes backwards towards my butt. Whoever rented this before me seems to have stretched it out with their butt. The fabric seems bent and weird. I tried on the 2R and it does not do that - the slit falls straight down, instead of gaping backwards. Also as an FYI, the 2R was slightly longer than the 0R, but I could still walk in it.

Additionally, I rented another dress, a Bagley Mischka and in comparison this dress looks cheap. So, I'm not going to be wearing this dress.

Pros:  Great Color; length was long, but wore 2 inch heels & it was perfect!
Cons: Material was form fitting.  I saw every imperfection on my body.  Wore Spanx, but slit was a little high, so had to roll up the thigh part of Spanx, so it didn't show.

This was my backup dress and I didn't end up wearing it.  It pretty much runs true to size, but order down for your second size.  I'm generally a 4 and it was a little roomy (though I'm not sure how the 2 would have fit).  There was just a lot of fabric to this dress and not much sexiness - but if you're going for a more demure, conservative look it could work.  The color alone is beautiful, just not the most flattering fit in my opinion.  

I didn't end up wearing this one - a bit too form fitting and just not flattering due to my height and shape.

i really love the look of this dress, but it didn't work on me. I have a boyish figure - not a whole lot of curves. Still, where I did have them pulled the dress awkwardly. Further, the lining layer and the top layer of the fabric didn't sit together smoothly. It seemed like it may have been cleaned one time too many. Anyway, It was just awkward so I sent it back without wearing to my event. 

i was stumped with what to wear for  a "blacktie" wedding that started at 11:00am and went until 11pm! this was perfect the comfortaBLE
