Wore this for my maternity photos at 36 weeks and it fit beautifully. The dress draped in a really flattering way for both the tummy and top. I wore a strapless bra and was fine. It was the perfect length even with my belly but I am 5’9 so shorter folks may have a too much fabric. The shoulder fabric does flop up if you raise your arms a lot but nothing that is too annoying or is super noticeable.

This was a back up dress as the dress I rented said it ran small and I was unsure of if it would fit. While I did not wear this dress I definitely would have. I loved the fit, the colors and movement. The Dress was comfortable and could lean towards dressy/semi formal or casual but I wouldn’t say it would work for a more formal event. As others have stated the material is more substantial than it appears but isn’t too heavy. I would not recommend wearing a bra with it as the key hole isn’t necessarily bra friendly. Which also leads to the point that it is adjustable in the front and if you are very full may show more than you like but not an uncomfortable amount. Fit true to size and was gorgeous. I would definitely rent it again.

The dress is gorgeous and truly unique. Due to the straight cut and material (it has NO stretch) if you are a bit hippy or fuller on the bottom you may get some fabric bunching in the hip/stomach area. The cut outs were fine and forgiving for me. I am not very full in the chest so that was not an issue for me, but I could see how if you were it would be less than flattering. I could not wear a bra and did not require pasties. The straps are adjustable which helps with the placement of the cups and cutouts. My dress appeared in decent condition and wasn’t super wrinkled. Over all I love the dress, I got SOOOOOO many compliments on the style and it is unique and fun for any cocktail/formal event.

This dress was gorgeous, but it is definitely not made to fit a very curvy girl. I rented this after falling in love with it. I was not able to receive the back up larger size (12) as there was an issue, so I received another dress as my backup. I am glad I did. The dress was VERY fitted, almost to the point of being uncomfortable wearing it. It barely zipped in the back and I am not very endowed. The red outer straps hung very loosely and I was literally afraid the dress would burst in the back with spanx on. As I do have a bit of junk in my trunk and hips this is what likely took up any extra give the fabric had. Again, gorgeous dress, but just be prepared to size up 1 to 2 sizes, unless you are more narrow framed.

I recived this dress as a back up due to my original order not being available in the sizes I chose. Boy am I glad I recived it! It was perfect. It is more on the fitted side but not tight. It does bunch a bit in the midsection but it is fine, you can't notice it and it actually hides any bumps. With that being said the fabric is forgiving but wear spanx if you don't want bulges showing. I wore a size 10 and recived a 12 as a backup. The 10 was a little more unforgiving in the belly area but the 12 was WAY too big in the bust area. If you are smaller chested and want to go up a size for comofortablity in the waist keep this in mind. You will need a lot of help.

This dress was super comfortable and allowed me to dance and eat as much as I wanted without feeling like I might pop. IT RUNS LARGE. I cannot say this enough. I was worried I would need a MR or LR ( I wear a size 10 and am 5'9) but I actually wore the SR! the MR was too loose in the waist and did not have much shape on me. I will state the armholes are cut large so beware of certain bras. Otherwise I got tons of compliments and it stood our at in a sea of little black dresses. Very victorian/boho chic that can be dressed up or down.

I work this dress to a wedding and was quite comfortable. It fits nicely (although there is a bit of tightness around the waist right under the top/under the bust area) and it did not feel stiff at all. The back that opens is a nice touch and I got complements all night long. I was worried it might be a bit short as I am 5'9" and have a bit of a tush, but it was a perfectly acceptable length.

This was a fun little party dress that I wore to a bachelorette party/rehearsal dinner. The dramatic open back and black and white design made it unique and a hit. The cons are that I had to wear the smaller size (40) that was almost too tight to zip up because the opening in the back is so large. The bigger size (42) which fit better gaped to much and did not look as good. So because I wore the smaller size and am tall I had to do a bit of dress pulling down through the night but it looked great. I also did not wear a bra but you couldn't tell at all. The material is way more sturdy than you think.

If you have a small chest then a bra isn't needed as there is boning in the dress. With that said the size I wore (6L) had an issue where some of the boning was sticking out at the bottom of the bodice, and without padding it was would have been uncomfortable. I wish you could see that there is a beautiful silvery blue/gray lining under the peplum but it was a beautiful surprise. All in all if you want a simple subtly elegant dress with a bit of a twist this fits your needs!

The dress fits true to size and is pretty lightweight. It is pretty short for someone of my height. Also the neck is cut a little high so if you are broad shouldered it may fit tight. Luckily for me it was fine. If busty you may want to size up.

Wore this dress to a wedding. My size was out so I got a size up (8) and a size down (4.) The 4 was snug and the 8 a bit loose so it is very true to size. I ended up wearing the 8 and belting it with a thin metal belt. It looked great! I got so many compliments. Beware, if you don't have the proper undergarments it will show. It is unlined silk. So spanx or a shaper will help, and reduce static.
