It was swishy, flowy, flattering, and lovely... I was months post baby and I felt beautiful! The lace embellishment was so incredible. I never thought to rent a dress but after the feel of this fabric, I always will now!!!

Got the Small and the XS based on reviews, XS fit everywhere and better except for in the neck, where it was too tight, so I went with the small because I knew i'd be dancing a lot at this wedding and wanted to be comfortable. The color of the dress and the lace detail is gorgeous, I paired it with gray shoes and the Christian Siriano Natural Snake Karima Clutch. Wore this to an outdoor August New England wedding and it was perfect. Best part was the way the dress looked when you danced, made you not want to stop dancing. I would definitely rent this dress again. 

It fit true to size. I'm shorter (5'3") so it was a little long on me, but paired it with some brown boots and I was in love. Super comfortable too!

Glad I read the reviews, normally I’d be more inclined to rent a large, or a least a back up size larger. I got a small and medium, just in case. I wore the medium and it was a perfect fit. The neck was snug but not uncomfortable at all. I paired it with a belt, like some suggested to give it more definition. I received compliments all night, and did I mention it was a great dress to dance in?!

I read reviews that said it ran big so I switched my order and backup to S and M instead of my typical large. I have a wide set rib cage with a smaller chest but Large butt and thigh area. The M fit better across the chest with a little more wiggle room than the S. The S could have worked as well. It looked great with a skinny gold belt to gather it in around the waist and give it more shape. I loved the float skirt that swirled when I twirled and I got a lot of compliments on it! I wore it to a company summer party on the rooftop in Seattle and I felt fancy enough yet comfortable. The neck part was a little tighter than I expected. It worked fine for me with a basic strapless bra and it didn't show which some reviews mentioned. 

One size down fit perfectly. The color is darker blue/navy with a bit of sparkle.

At first look, this dress is dreamy -- beautiful neck detail, a fitted waist, and a full skirt. Upon wearing it, I realized the first and last are true. 
The neck and back of the dress are actually really cute, and back bra straps are hardly noticeable through the lace. The skirt is VERY full and swirly so you feel like an absolute princess.
Now, there were three problem areas for this dress. I have an hourglass figure, which this dress does not compliment. The waist does not cinch in at all, making it very bump-friendly if you are pregnant, but for me I look like a mattress. For curvy ladies, a belt is a MUST. 
Secondly, the armholes for this dress go down pretty deep. I'm almost sporting a bit of side-boob in the picture. My bra is visible beneath the armpit and up the bust curve.
Thirdly, the underskirt is unexpectedly short. The lace is pretty thick overall, but the legs are pretty visible up to the underskirt, which goes down to about 8" above my knee. As a dance instructor who is constantly turning and swaying, this presented a slight problem and necessitated the wearing of shorts.
I think that the first two issues are easily solvable by getting a size smaller. I am always a medium (sometimes a large) but in this case, I should have opted for the small size. It definitely runs big.


The dress was a great choice. Bump friendly. Nice flare to it. The sleeves were a little big. I'd suggest a bralette because the side were a bit long. Other than that I received so many compliments. Another great experience with RTR!

I got so many compliments on this dress and it was SO COMFORTABLE. It is loose and flowy on bottom so it worked out great for my large bottom half. A+ 

This dress is so beautiful. The blue color is eye-catching and the lace is very intricate. I got a bunch of compliments. Like most other people have said, this dress runs pretty big. I usually wear a large and got a medium as my backup and even the medium was too big. I wore it anyway since it wasn't TOO big but would have really preferred a small. It's tricky for someone with a small bust like me. I wore a strapless bra but the strap under my arms kept peeking out. Also, the dress isn't fitted around your midsection so it kind of hangs. Consider a belt. I paired with nude heels. It's also super comfortable and would even be good for a winter or fall wedding since the material is thick. I wore it to a hot summer wedding and was fine. 

Loved this dress! I was worried it would not be figure flattering based on other people's comments that it was loose fitting. While it was a bit loose, I thought it was a very pretty fit. I did wear the medium as opposed to the large. I would recommend this dress for something unique!

Rented this for an outdoor wedding and it was ideal! It runs a little large..I had to add a belt to give it a little shape but overall it was great!!! 

Beautiful blue lace dress!  Compliments all night long!!!  Perfect tea length on my 6 foot frame. I do recommend sizing down as the medium fit me with a little room to spare and I'm normally a 12 dress size. 

This dress definitely runs small - I'm in a 12 right now and the Small actually fit a little big on me - insane! I got all kinds of compliments and was so comfortable.

I wish I owned this dress! It was super fun to dance in. The band at the wedding named me as best dress! I would recommend a strapless bra or petals.

Overall I really liked this dress and got a lot of compliments.  The arm holes were on the large side but the bust fit well; probably would not work for someone with a larger chest.  The waist is not as fitted as it appears to be on the website pictures; if your waist is narrow it is easily fixed with a belt, otherwise it looks ill fitting.  The skirt had nice movement and the lace was really pretty.  

This dress was perfect for a wedding at a CT yacht club on a beautiful 80 degree day. Even though the lace is heavy, because there is so much material, it still breathes nicely. Absolutely gorgeous and so fun to spin in! If you want a waist in it, I highly recommend adding a belt! I'm glad I ordered the small (the medium fit but I felt like a blob in it) and would suggest you size way down for this dress. I was able to wear it without a bra with minor adjustments throughout the night but my other option would have been a lace racerback bra which would have been completely hidden except for the keyhole in back; it was nice to at least have the bra option.

The arm holes are very low. I tried wearing a bandeau bra at first but it wasn't lacy and looked terrible. I ended up wearing a front stick on bra which worked really well. Plenty of stretch and room for the baby bump. I'm around 28 weeks in this photo but measuring 29-30. I felt covered even in length which was a concern. The lace was a little faded which was a bummer but overall the dress was very nice and comfortable.  Obviously my weight/bust size is a little different currently. I'm around 36DD and around 170lbs but it's literally all in the belly at this point. 

I rented this dress for our engagement photos and could not be more please with how well it photographs. My fiance loved the dress, and I got compliments from our photographer and strangers while we were taking our photos. I would 100% rent this dress again.  

I loved how lose and breezy it was. It is WAY large for size. I ordered XS because I read previous reviews. I am usually a S or M. It was super comfy and fun to dance in because it wasn't restricting at all!

I wore this dress for my husbands holiday party at 29 weeks (and ~15lbs above my normal weight). Very bump friendly, but the arm holes were a little large. I wore a stick on bra which worked but was a little uncomfortable when pregnant. :) Lots of compliments, pairs well with sash, runs large, would rent again! 

I recently lost weight and the size was to big I over estimated my size. I went from a 12 to a size 8. This was not RTR  fault. 

As many other reviewers mentioned, this dress runs large and is not fitted in the middle. I paired it with a brown belt to cinch in the waist a bit, and brown cowgirl ankle boots to match. It was very flattering and I felt comfortable and stylish all night! This dress is great for dancing because of the full, lacy skirt.

Gorgeous piece worn to Thanksgiving dinner with family. The perfect merge of magic and sophistication. Color is awesome. Paired with design sheer tights and booties. Neck was a little uncomfortable, but worth it. One of my favorite rentals yet. 

I wore this for a vintage party, but would also be perfect for any formal event. I would prefer to wear with nude shoes, but didn't have any closed toe shoes besides black. The weight of the dress was awesome and is very flattering, but I was disappointed a bit as it was baggy in the waist, the arm holes cut too low to be able to wear a strapless bra invisibly ( I had to wear a bralette, which actually look really cute), and it was a bit longer than I was expecting, so I'd definitely recommend sizing down as I believe all of these issues I had would have been resolved with a smaller size. I highly recommend this dress!

I'm glad I listened to previous reviewers and ordered a size down. The dress does run a bit large but as long as you order a size down for your backup - all is good! I wore this to a Broadway show in Chicago in May. I wanted something beautiful but not too formal that would work in breezy weather and this was perfect. The weather was a bit chilly so I ended up pairing it with tights and booties which worked fine. I'm sure it wouldn't work with a typical bra but I had a Free People lacy bralette that complimented the dress perfectly. The blue is stunning and the lace is nice. Overall - loved the dress! 

The color was exactly what I wanted. Does fit large, plan to wear a belt. Very "flowy" and probably great for dancing/prancing. I made it work from my seated position ;)

Fit my pregnant body after I gained 20 pounds. Wasn't expecting a medium would fit. I Had previously rented the copper version of this dress before, which I liked better. Ended up getting this as a backup for the Trina Turk origami orange dress, but loved that one so much more!  This one was nice and fit well, but the modern style of the other dress was more appealing and more flattering on my pregnant body. 

I wore a small and even still the dress was a bit too big especially around the mid section where you want it a bit more fitted!  But still very pretty and got lots of compliments. 

I wore this dress to an event with a 1925's Paris theme.  I felt great in this all night and received many compliments.  Definitely recommend reading through the reviews, the dress does run big especially in the chest area.  The armholes are larger than most sleeveless dresses and a traditional bra/strapless bra will not work, I used double sided tape on the side and on my chest right below where the lace shows through to keep in in the place I wanted and it worked great for the night with no issues.  I would definitely rent this again for an event.  I also rented the benamun crystal cambon pearl bracelet to go with it.

It ran a little big so I had to pin the sides but I loved the overall color and lace. I'm short and the length was perfect it went to above my ankles

This dress was very nice! My only problem with it was it was too big. I had to put a belt around the waist for it too look good. I got tons of compliments on it all night, and my husband wanted me to purchase it until he saw the actual cost of the dress lol. 
So, it's a great dress jus make sure to get a smaller size!

It does run large, I got a small and it was almost a teensy big, which is why I wore a belt with it. Also, I thought I'd wear my hair up, so you could see the details around the neck better, but it actually looked better down, unless maybe you're going for the super fancy look. This was an outdoor wedding though. Great dress! Loved twirling the fabric around :)

I was pretty concerned about sizing for this dress since everyone commented how large it runs. I ended up wearing a XS which is ridiculous since I'm normally around an 8. Definitely size way down. The dress was super comfortable, easy to wear and flattering. Don't plan to wear a regular bra though - the arm holes are way to big. Definitely was sad to send this dress back - sorry for the dark photo. 

The color was true to the picture and dress definitely ran large. I expected to fit into a SM and ordered the XS just in case-even that was bigger than I'd have liked. But it was very comfortable and fun to dance in because of all the swish in the skirt. Decided not to wear a bra because everything I had showed somewhere-the armholes are cut quite low. Looks best with heels. If I bought the dress I might even go with a XS Petite just to shorten it up and get the bodice in the right place for my small chest. I'm a 34A, 5'8", 135 lbs.

Loved the color and the comfort.  Would definitely recommend wearing a belt with this runs large around waist and it not flattering.  Fun, comfy dress with a cool neckline!

I loved the color and skirt of this dress. It was a great dancing dress! And had fantastic movement. I will admit i did a few twirls. The fit was weird- the xs body fit well but the top and neck was too tight. The sm fit perfectly on top but was not as fitted as I would have liked. And it SMELLED like it had been sitting in a cheap
Motel for weeks. I received lots of compliments on it however. 

The dress felt slightly large in the waist/lower ribcage area, otherwise, it fit well.  I received compliments all night on this number!
