Perfect leather jacket style but softer suede material. Fits true to size, though a little on the small side. If you have a bigger bust it may be tight. The cropped style hit perfectly between my waist and hip. Overall I love it.

This dress was SO flattering. I wish I could own it!! There is a lot of fabric on the bottom, which is perfect for my pear shaped body. I would say that this runs large-ish. I am normally between a 6 and 8 and wore the 6 - it fit perfectly but I was swimming in the 8. The bright yellow stood out in a crowd. It's more of green toned yellow and is very bright. It worked perfectly for my event. Highly recommended!!

This dress is definitely iffy for pear shaped ladies like myself, but I still loved it. I wore it to a fall wedding at a ski resort. I didn't get any great pictures with it on, shockingly, but it was very fitted in the hips and a little big in the bust. I usually wear an 8 or a 10 and I wore the 12 in this. I would totally recommend the dress for an hourglass or athletic/straight and narrow type body.

I rented this as a back up and didn't end up wearing it. I waiver between an 8 and 10 on account of my pear shaped body. I only had the 8 and definitely needed the 10. There's no way I could have gotten away with the 8 so I'm going to say this runs small. The green isn't as noticeable when you put get it, but it does actually look great in pictures with a flash.

I wore this to my office holiday party. The theme was colorful semi-formal wear and it worked perfectly. It also fit me perfectly. It definitely runs smaller. I am usually a solid 8 in dresses that aren't fitted in the hips, and while the 8 fit it was definitely too snug for a work party. The 10 however was great. I didn't think it was too short - wore sheer black tights with it, but would have been ok without them. It fell a few inches above the knee, but wasn't obscene. I wore it with a big sparkly necklace - similar to the kate spade on the town necklace and it was great. I didn't get a great picture of me in the dress however. Overall I would recommend this dress, but defnitely size up.

I ordered these to go with a dress that I didn't end up wearing. Sadly they didn't match my back up dress so I didn't wear them either. They're very well made and very pretty, but they just didn't match. The size was as expected, but they were SUPER heavy. One of the backs popped off while I was trying them on which made me scared I'd lose it if I were dancing in it or anything.

This dress was absolutely amazing, super form fitting, but super flattering... I ordered the medium and the small, and I know this is supposed to be body hugging, but I think I might have been just a wee bit more comfortable in the large. I have larger arms so it felt pretty tight there. I sadly didn't wear this for my date because it was just a little too va-va-voom for the location. I cannot wait for an event where I can wear this because it's on the top of my list of dresses to wear!!

I love, love, loved this dress!! I am contemplating purchasing it, but if I don't, I will absolutely rent again. The dress ran true to size, however it was a little big in the shoulders because I am a pear shape and always have more room in the top if something fits in the hips. It wasn't so big that I couldn't wear it however. The leather triangles on the sides at the waist was super flattering, and the pattern really hid my little belly well. All in all a fantastic dress in my opinion.

This was my first rental ever, and it went off without a hitch. The dress was beautiful, the lace detailing amazing, especially on the shoulder. It was an LBD with a little flair. The dress definitely runs a little big. I am usually an 8 in dresses and I wore the 6 in this. I was a little nervous that the poufiness of the bottom of the skirt would make my hips look bigger, but the gathering in the mid section actually made my waist look smaller. My one complaint was that the boning popped out of the side of the dress a bit, but since it wasn't a form fitting dress it didn't bother me too much. It was also great for dancing!

I ordered this dress to wear for a wedding and surprisingly it was too big. I usually wear a 6/8 US sizes in dresses, but since the reviews said this runs small and is very fitted I opted to rent the 44 and 46. I definitely needed the 42 (US 6). I called to see if the 42 was available last minute and it was not so I ended up in another dress. The fabric and pattern, however, is gorgeous. I plan to rent this again in the correct size. Also, Rent the Runway was the most amazing customer service. I was overnight another dress to the hotel I was staying at. Everything went perfect for my event.

I rented these to go with the Versus by Versace Floral Wonderland dress, but ended up wearing them with the Nicole Miller Midnight Fever Dress. They were gorgeous, very well made, and matched both dresses. The only problem I had was about halfway through the night I wanted to take them out because I was bouncing around dancing so much and they were starting to hurt my ears. Other than that, they were great!

I rented this dress for a friend's after wedding celebration at a bar/lounge type place. It was a fun dress, definitely not my usual style, but still awesome. I was able to wear strapless bra with it and just tied the halter high and wore the bra low. I am between a 6/8 and order a S and M. The S fit, but I went with the M based on where the waist fell. I am pear shape and all the layers at the bottom on the small draped funny and made my hips look bigger. My only gripe that BOTH dresses were arrived without the belt so I had to add in my own belt (I work a skinny black patent leather belt). It would have been fine without it, but something to pull it in at the waist made it much more flattering. I didn't use fashion tape since I was able to wear a strapless bra, but I would recommend it at the bust.

I rented this to wear for a friend's rehearsal dinner. It was on a lake in Southern California. The dress could not have been more perfect. I wore a belt to cinch the waist because it ran a little bit large. I am usually a 6/8, but could have potentially fit in the 4. I am glad I got the 6 though, for length and I liked the blousier look. The fabric is really light and was perfect for a warm evening. The patter was very vibrant and beautiful. I am so pleased with this dress I will probably wear it again. I also think this dress would flatter most body shapes.

I rented this dress super last minute. My original dress (Versus by Versace Floral Wonderland) arrived and was too big. RTR let me pick any available dress to be overnighted for free to my hotel (I had the summer pass), so I picked this last minute. It was perfect for the wedding, but definitely runs small. I rented the 6 and the 8 and ended up in the 8, but probably would have been more comfortable in the 10. Everyone said it looked great, but it was definitely really tight. Overall another great experience with RTR.
