I ordered this dress for a slightly more formal fall wedding. For starters, the material of this dress is AMAZING. It's that thick material that has a stretch in it that compliments your curves, is more forgiving on your soft spots, and super comfortable. I drove 3 hours in this dress so I really put it to the comfort test! Items that prevent me from giving it a 5-star rating: 1) The boning in the back of the dress was poking out and stabbing me in the back all night (ouch). Made it difficult to dance - esp. to "Shout". 2) If you have wide shoulders and/or are sensitive about your underarm/side boob fat area, I would stay away from this dress. I couldn't figure out the best way to pose in this dress without feeling like I had too much side underarm/boob fat. 3) if you WANT to wear a bra, you're probably going to see it in the back when you sit. BUT, there is enough structure in the dress that you definitely can get away with not wearing one. (I didn't.).

Huge thanks to RTR. I ordered this dress in blue but due to some crazy storms somewhere NE of me, UPS canceled the shipment. RTR didn't even hesitate to overnight me the same dress in red so that I didn't have to wear my birthday suit to the party of the year. I don't know why I didn't order this in red to begin with! I felt like a movie star! The dress is amazing. Comfortable. Thick enough material that you don't feel like all of your insecurities are hanging out there but snug enough to show off all of those beautiful curves. Highly suggest this dress to my hour glass girls. You will turn heads. To all my tall girls, this dress is definitely long enough. I got the long and had to wear 3-4" heels with it. I could've ordered a regular and worn short heels or cute sandals with it. The ONLY downside (if there is one) is that it is longer in the back so I had quite a few people step on my dress when I was in a crowd. However, if you are wanting to feel like a movie star, the short train makes it even better.

The dress has a subtle flower stitching in black on black which makes the black dress just a bit more appropriate for a spring wedding. I decided to "spring" up the dress even more with some bright colored accents in my jewelry and shoes. The dress flares out after the waist with a slight pouf giving you more of a flirty feel which was fun for dancing. (However watch how you stand in pictures to avoid looking larger than you are.) I'm sure you've seen it in other pictures but this dress is definitely cleavage bearing so if you're not okay with that, stay away. (I got a lot of compliments on how amazing my boobs looked, haha.) Hourglass girls - I could've sized down to an 8 in this dress to truly fit my waist but the 10 wasn't bad. I am disappointed that I didn't get a better picture of the dress so that you could see all of this for yourself!

I wore this for a glittery/sparkly themed bachelorette party. It fit the the theme perfectly. It definitely has enough sequins to catch everyone's eye as you dance the night away (and it's very easy to dance the night away in - I put it to the test). I liked the dress. I was very pleased with the length for being a tall girl (as usual with RTR dresses). I thought the dress was pretty enough, however, it's not really the best cut for hourglass girls out there like me. It fit in the chest (making me think that I probably could not have comfortably sized down) but was a little baggy in the waist (making me feel the need to belt it - I don't like having to belt EVERY dress I wear). Anyways, I recommend understated jewelry with the flashy dress but a pop of color in a heel (or a belt) - a mustache can work wonders as well. :)

I wore this dress for a committee Christmas party where I knew I would be meeting a lot of people for the first time. I am so disappointed in myself that I didn't get a picture in this dress. It fit beautifully and I felt elegant without being over the top. Being a curvy girl, it hugged my curves just enough up top to offset the fullness of the skirt on the bottom while still being appropriate. The neckline is feminine yet is high enough to be appropriate for something like a work Christmas party. I wasn't busting out with cleavage. I also adored the length. I'm a tall girl and it came to my knees.

I loved this dress. It was very comfortable to wear, had pockets, and I felt beautiful. The only downside was that I had to wear the size 12 because the 10 was pretty tight in the arms. I tend to have an issue with this though since I have broad shoulders and my waist is tinier in proportion to my arms so I wasn't shocked. I just threw on a cute belt and it looked just fine. :) I wish I got a picture in it!

I rented this dress for a winter ballet performance. If I had rented it for a longer affair (say a wedding), I would've returned it. I was most worried about the arms fitting since I went with the size 10 (my shoulders are broad and my arms are not as proportionate with my waist size) but the sleeves fit beautifully. When I first put the dress on, I was very pleased. I thought it was so beautiful and very flattering. However, I quickly realized that the inner lining was permanently twisted. It's stitched in place and the seams do not line up. You can make out the "side" seam of the inner lining on the left hand side of the picture above and you can tell it is obviously not in the right place. In addition, the zipper in the back is incredibly crooked. It started in the middle of my upper back and ended by my left hip. There is no way the dress was designed this way. I wanted to love this dress but the make of it just made it uncomfortable to wear.
