Not a good fit
The arms are very large. I would consider my arms and shoulders to have substantial muscle, so more often dresses are tight on my arms. These were baggy, which threw off the entire look. I would not recommend this dress.

Beautiful, but runs very small
I have worn plenty of strapless mermaid styles in a 6 and even a 4. The 6 would not even zip over my hips! This is a beautiful dress, but I would have to wear an 8 or perhaps even a 10 (which I have never worn).

Sexy back
This dress looks like a lot of other nude illusion lace dresses from the front, but it has a very sexy cutout in the back. It is basic and can be worn classy or edgy with the right accessories. The fit is really good; I have scoliosis and tend to shy away from low backs, but this looked great!

This dress was beautiful, but it is not for short waisted or small busted women. The material is lovely, but I could not wear it. Sizing down wouldn't work because then the hips would be too small.

Amazing color and fabric
This dress has beautiful silk panels. It is dressy, but cool, and the colors have a lovely sheen. The fabric is a lightweight silk, so it is very thin (don't pick this in cold weather). I am typically a size 4-6 and I fit right between the medium and small. I could have squeezed into the small, but the medium was more comfortable and not too loose. The only reason I can't give this dress 5 stars is because it wrinkles easily. That isn't a big deal for an evening event when the lights are low, but it might show up at a day event. The dress arrived more wrinkled than most RTR dresses, so I had to press it with a warm iron before the event. Overall, I loved wearing it.

I am usually a 4-6 and the 4 fit me, so I would say it runs a little large for designer sizes. The color is amazing and it really stands out. One caution: this is an embroidered dress, so don't wear anything that could potentially snag the embroidery. It is somewhat fragile and probably won't have a long life with RTR. I loved it, however, and it was REALLY fun to wear.

Beautiful dress
This is a lovely, forgiving style that would work well for numerous occasions. Not sexy, but beautiful and artistic. I wore this to a gala and felt very cool. It stood out from all of the black and sequins. Very forgiving to hips, but slightly short-waisted. I am typically a 4-6, but it is a good thing that I ordered a 6. 4 would have been too tight in the arm holes and too short in the torso. BTW, I am already a little short waisted, so it is unusual for a dress to fit me that way.

I would definitely buy this dress, if given the option. It is versatile, people raved about the color and style. I wore it to a cocktail attire gala and thought it was perfect. Fabric is stretchy, but the waist is a little short, so I would not size down. This is retro with a modern twist.

I like this dress and it would be great for a edgy statement (concert or fashion show). Unfortunately for me, I think that it would look best on a model figure. I am fairly thin with a little curve, and I felt like this emphasized the curves in a bad way. You need fairly small hips and a small tummy to look good. The fabric is silky and does have some stretch. Order your normal "designer" size and one size up.

This dress shows off curves, but it is difficult to wear with a bra--even a strapless. I don't think it will work for a very big bust; probably C and under. The 6 would have been a better fit for my hips, but then the top would have not fit correctly (straps too long). The fabric has stretch and is thick enough to act like spanx. The back is very cool. In sum: a wonderful dress that has a true "designer" feel to it. This came with the tags on, so the dress is in great shape. Rent it when you want to feel sexy.

If you want to try the high/low trend, this is the right dress! The dress subtly shows off your legs and it floats beautifully when you walk. I am surprised that other people thought it too short; at 5'5" with long legs, it was perfect in front. The high/low is classy, not weird. I sized up because the top is slightly empire. I wanted it to fall closer to my natural waist, so the bigger size helped drop the waist.

I want to buy this dress. It is simple and beautiful--really elegant. A 4 fit beautifully, but it looked less drape-y on me than the picture...more fitted on top. I love Dolce and Gabbana, but did not like this dress. I didn't think that it ran small, but it just wasn't as flattering as other dresses that I've rented from RTR. This probably looks better on someone with a bigger bust; I an A/B and the dress just looked blah. As another reviewer noted, the upper back doesn't fit a short torso well. Thankfully, this was my backup dress. I LOVE the Philosophy Charlotte chiffon dress; it hugs curves better and has a similar sexy/sophisticated vibe.
