a more modern trench without being too trendy
I was tempted to keep this, it's a great lightweight jacket that isn't too fancy for a casual look but elevates a basic tee and jeans into something more polished. it tends to wrinkle easily but not quite as bad as linen. sleeves were a little long and wide for my t-rex arms.

there is zero stretch in this so if you're counting on that help your wriggle into this, you'll be out of luck. I'm a solid size 12 usually and I got this in a 12 and it would not fit over my dump truck butt.

so wide you might trip
trying to get into the wide leg style is proving difficult with my curves and short legs! wanted to love these but they were too big in the waist so they sagged and then too long of an inseam so I kept tripping over them even in my platform shoes. going down a size wouldn't have fit at all so think this style just doesn't work on my body type.

I would have worn this lots more if I had gotten my usual size Large instead of XL. it's thick with big snaps so easy to put on and snap up over other layers and use as a light jacket.

retro and cozy
looks just like the jackets my brother wore in the 70s. very warm but the sherpa lining can sometimes make it difficult to get your arms through due to friction. it's slightly cropped which was generally ok for me as I'm 5'2" with a very short torso, taller/longer folks may not be into it.

oversized but not in a cute way on my short curvy body. the end of the sweater half is attached awkwardly so it doesn't lay flat and instead it juts out sharply at the hips. I basically only tried it on but never wore it out.

great color and great idea if you're looking for sleeves (so few fancy dresses have sleeves!) but if you have juicy thighs, this slit is going to be very high. I'm 5'2 with trex arms and the sleeves were too long and baggy around the wrists.

incredibly unflattering fit on a thick middle and armed person. the zipper in the back is a fun detail but in practice is cold and uncomfortable to wear without anything under it and wearing something under it kinda ruins the look

I had previously rented this sweater in a L and it was too big so I sized down to a M this time and woah, too small. my arms are much bigger than they used to be so while I can technically wear this, it's not the most comfortable and if I raise my arms, my belly shows due to the shorter length of the sweater.

Super fun dress that is a great knee length on us shorties and also hits at a good spot for those of us with short torsos. It'll definitely show cleavage but nothing a supportive bra (or a camisole) can't improve. The pictures on RTR make it seem like the ombre is a lot more obvious but in person, it's far more subtle, the top half is a much darker blue than pictured online. POCKETS! So convenient and they're huge. I carried my phone around in it all night and never worried about it falling out. The lining of the dress is downright cozy, a soft jersey material. Your arms will get scratched up by the sequins on the sleeves so be wary, maybe try some body glide or something. I wasn't even dancing and I was super torn up.

pretty but flimsy
very sparkly and pretty but it was very small (and I have tiny wrists). in the effort to wriggle it on, it bent and then was too loose but I was able to just press it back to a smaller size. I imagine that if done enough times, it would snap. The brass was also a bit dingier than I anticipated.

I'm a 36D with a generous booty, a poochy tummy, a short torso and am only 5'2". Finding something that makes me feel fabulous is very difficult, especially on RTR when everything is sleeveless and caters to stick thin gals. I'll be honest, I wasn't excited about this dress when I ordered it but when I got it, I was pleased with how much prettier it was in person. The dress I got had definitely been through the ringer: loose threads everywhere (especially on the sleeves), a couple of holes and one of the hanger straps was completely gone with a hole in the dress lining remaining. But once it was on, you couldn't see any of those imperfections. I paired this with dark red/burgundy 2" heels and the length was perfect. I wore my hair down and while it snagged a little bit on the dress, it wasn't that bad. The dress getting caught on itself was more of a hassle but overall, not that annoying. I normally wear a 12 but since this dress runs large, I went with a 10. The 10 was even a bit roomy and I could have probably pulled off an 8 with some spanx but who wants to squash into spanx if they don't have to?

cute, unique, not for those with pooches or armpit chub
this is really cute and fun but as so many items on RTR, takes a very specific body type to pull it off. I'm 5'2" with a generous booty, very short torso and broad shoulders. If I was sucking in my stomach and keep my arms bent out away from my body, this looked awesome on me. However, as soon as I let my breath out and relaxed my arms, the jumpsuit made me look pregnant and my armpit chub popped out. Also, the pant legs are WIDE so if you have full thighs like me, you end up looking like you're wearing a dress, not pants, as the wide legs do not lend themselves toward creating two distinct legs.

I'm ordinarily an 8 with a smallish bust and bigger hips/butt but the 6 was almost a skoosh too big. The top especially was too big for my 34B chest as I needed to get a padded pushup bra to fill it out better and it was still a little loose (ended up pinning it as it was a pretty droopy v neck). Otherwise, stunning and comfortable and I got a zillion compliments including from two drag queens at the wedding who said that the party officially started with my arrival and that they'd have to kick me out for outdoing them :) I wore no jewelry as it was plenty sparkly enough. Shoes were tough as the dress is a pinky-silverish hue but nude sandals worked fine.
