Understated elegance
Absolutely loved everything about this dress! It felt fantastic and had a nice flow. The sheer sleeves and shoulders make it a bit dressier. My waste is one of my better assets so I cinched in the middle with a black belt. I wore the large because I don’t like a tight fit (except at the waste.) Lots of compliments! PS Love a fancy dress with pockets!!

Loved this dress!
I loved the thickness of the fabric and how it draped. I think a black belt helped. I didn’t end up wearing it because I liked the other option better. (And my husband thought the high turtle neck looked strange—but I thought it was ok ) I always order L because I have very broad shoulders.

Other reviewers had mentioned the thin fabric, but oh my I’ve worn summer nightgowns that were heavier. It’s odd because the colors are definitely fall/winter. My main problem was the fit. Other reviewers mentioned it was tight in the shoulders, and my shoulders are very broad, so I ordered the large as a backup. It was so tight around my chest and shoulders I was not comfortable. I lift weights so that might not be a problem for most women.

Rehearsal dinner
The event was held out of doors so I would be standing in wet grass. I wore boots and it worked perfectly. I would definitely suggest a belt to break-up the rather busy print. The flowers absolutely pop much more than the photo suggests. I can’t tell you how many compliments I received. I told everyone “Rent the Runway”! One suggestion I would like to make to the company. More dresses for older women. I’m 70 and VERY few dresses in your catalog would work for me.

Great fit
When I first looked at this dress on the hanger I thought it wasn't going to work. The black lace is rather informal looking, more along the lines of what you'd see on a beach cover up and not an expensive dress. But when I tried it on I found the fit to be so complimentary I decided to wear it. Not a head turner dress, but quite comfortable.

Who doesn't love a red dress to stand out before a sea of black at a black tie affair ? I'm between an 8-10 size wise. The 8 was a bit tight across my 36 D girls (I also have broad shoulders) and I thought the cut of the dress called for a loser fit so I wore the 10. Simple cut and style. Just a fun colorful dress!

Graduation party.
I was still getting compliments on this dress days after the event. Fantastic color and the silver threading throughout really makes it pop. Very well constructed and flattering. I would strongly suggest that you size up for an optional 2nd size. I'm usually an 8 and based on other reviews I ordered the 10. Ended up wearing the 10 and it fit like a glove. I loved this dress so much I immediately reordered it for another upcoming event.

Decade birthday.
I wanted a very special eye-catching dress to celebrate my 60th birthday. This dress was absolutely perfect For the occasion. I'm usually a size 6 to 8 but right now a bit on the chubby side of 8 and the 8 was a good fit. I only had one minor issue with the dress. I thought the little peplum skirt was too short and flared out too much. I wore a wide black belt which flattened it down a bit. My husband also agreed that the dress looked better with the black belt because it broke up the very bold design. I felt like a million dollars in this dress. My third time with RTR and I'm hooked! I may never buy another dress.

I felt beautiful and elegant in this dress.
Absolutely love this dress! It is just as pretty as it is pictured. The color is unusual and quite striking-sort of a peacock blue with celadon green lace. I was worried that a lace dress would not have any give. I hate the feeling of being trapped inside of a dress. This fabric has a bit of stretch to it so it felt great.
