Cute top, but it has a sticky band around the top that's meant to keep it up, and it has a tendency to roll out, so you have to constantly roll and tuck it back in. I didn't really like fighting with it all night. Husband thought it was cute, though (the top, not me putting up a fight).

Versatile Mermaid
I thought this would be more casual than it was - rented it as an option for a cocktail party, but it looked waaay more formal in real life (in a good way!). It was just too formal for my event. That said, I will definitely be renting it in the future; thinking summer wedding, maybe something else. I dunno. Loved the fit, flow, color, length, all of the above. The XS fit pretty well and I'm a 34B/C, but the S would have been fine, too.

Velvet Detail Surprise
Couldn't tell from the pictures online, but the floral details are velvet - really took the dress up a level! I didn't end up wearing it to the event, but would rent as a LBD for a future event. The 2 fit great if I wanted to go braless, but the 4 would have been fine too if I wanted to throw on a strapless bra.

Love the pattern, silky soft, just really long so it shows if you tuck it into your pants and I'm sorry, but you will never get me to go back and embrace my early 2000s over-the-hips long top look. But I liked this so much I'd consider buying it.

Felt like a king snake that just ate a DC-sized rat. I think there's just too much fabric, it made me feel bulky. The horizontal stripes combined with the knotted fabric just didn't do me any favors and I didn't feel great in it. Other people will probably look and feel great in it, though!! You do you.

My husband calls anything with a basque waist (Victorian waist, v-waist, whatever) a "milk maid" dress; he doesn't know what he's talking about, but here we are. I was obsessed with this dress. It was so comfortable, didn't require any tucking or taping or bra-ing, and I love when it takes fifteen minutes to get ready for a black tie event. Already hearted it in black and would buy for future events. Length was great, waist was flattering (imo), tts. I honestly think XS, S or M would have worked.

I knew I needed a 27, but the 26 fit (just a little tight). That said, it didn't look tight and was so, so flattering. Wearing a slightly smaller size was fine for one night, but I wouldn't have enjoyed wearing it all day. If I had the right size, it prob would have been more comfortable. Loved it anyway.
