Overall, I'd say the fit was spot on. It was comfortable and didn't feel restrictive and didn't require Spanx. Great dress for tall ladies because of the raised front. I wish I could rent this dress in multiple colors and prints!

Glamourous dress that really stood out!
The 8L is euro size, so this fit like a 4L. I'm 5'10" with 4 inch heels and the dress went down over my toes! I had to use a lot of two sided tape, but totally worth it. No Spanx required.

Nicole Miller never disappoints. The fabric and gathered material is very forgiving. No Spanx required. I'm normally a 6, which did fit me, but I went with the 8 to allow myself more room to breathe and be comfortable.

Great dress, but I needed the 6L.
Loved this dress, but I did not end up wearing it. Nicole Miller hugs the curves so well, but I really felt uncomfortable in the bust area with this 4L. I think the 6L would have been great, and I intend to try to reserve it again for my next event.

Badgley Mischka is consistent. I can order these dresses without any hesitation. I didn't have to wear spank or a bra. I will say that I used "chicken cutlet" inserts to fill the top a bit, as it shifted slightly in the bust, but not uncomfortably. The 4L actually fit better in the body, but was way too tight for my 34D bust. The 6L still worked well and I was able to sit, eat, breathe, dance, etc.

Classic summer dress and perfect length
Being 5'10" and always wearing heels, it's hard to find an appropriate length for summer dresses. This dress hanged well and didn't feel clingy or too short. I wore "chicken cutlets" on my breasts, as a bra didn't really work. No spanx needed.

Classic Derby Dress
Loved the dress. I'm 5'10" and the dress was a classic length. Only reason it got 4 stars is because the straps are way too long. I showed more cleavage than I wanted to, but it was still classy. I had to use tape to keep the straps from falling down, but it still worked.

Dress was snug in all the right places. No need for spanx of special bra. The low cut top was flattering without being overwhelming. The length is great too for a tall person.

This dress was a hit! Compliments all night.
The dress was a little snug in the bust and bigger through the hips and butt. Definitely for more of a pear shape, though as an athletic shape it still worked. I'm 5'10" and wore 4 inch heels and it was still long enough. Great dress overall.

Great dress, but runs small
I am a 4-6 and the 6 was just way too tight to wear comfortably. My bust was so tight that I wouldn't have been able to breathe. I think an 8 would have been perfect, but wasn't available.

Elegant and comfortable
Perfect dress for an evening wedding. Lots of compliments and very comfortable. It didn't require spanx or a bra. I am a 34C-D and it was a little big on top, but not so big that i felt it was going to fall down.

The dress is short, but not too short. Herve Leger dresses for so snugly that you don't need spanx or a supportive bra. Perfect fit and style for my husband's motorcycle ball.

This dress was extremely comfortable. Classy and sophisticated.
I'm usually a 4L. At 5'10" and wearing 4 inch heels, I felt like the 4 would be perfect. It was a little snug in the chest and didn't allow any room to "pull the dress down" to make it longer. I emailed RTR and they overnighted me the 6L. It was perfect! Just enough room in the chest that I didn't feel too tight and the length was perfect. I loved that this dress has the extra materials in the mid section to allow some movement. Also, the built in shelf bra was perfect for inserting lightly lined bikini pad inserts without having to wear a bra. Next time I'm ordering it in pink!

This was for my husband's motorcycle club Christmas party. I got compliments all night.
Being a tall woman, it's hard to find a short dress that's not too short. This was the perfect length to show a little leg. It was sassy and sexy, but a little conservative too.

The dress is snug fitting and is not forgiving if you have any lumps. I would recommend going a size larger than you'd normally wear.

The dress is very form fitting but also supportive. I normally wear spank under tight dresses, but the material is so thick and supportive that no undergarment support was required.
