The dress fit perfectly. I wore a sticky bra to keep the girls lifted and in place. I had to keep my shoulders back to avoid gaping, since the straps were a little long. If it were my own dress, I would have taken the straps in a bit. It is long. I am 5’3”ish and wore 4” heels and it pooled a bit on the floor, but that still looked ok & I was still able to dance in it. I received many compliments.

Due to the fabric and cut of the dress, even the slightest tummy bulge is very noticeable, which causes the dress to be less flattering. Unfortunately, this gorgeous dress really highlighted my flawed midsection. The fabric is gorgeous & looks better in person than in photos. If you are curvy, this probably isn't the dress for you. I loved the color of this dress on-line, and it didn't disappoint. I received many compliments all night long on it. As I was going to see a lot of professional colleagues at the event I was attending, this dress gave the right amount of sexy with its figure-hugging design without being too revealing. I rented the 4R and 6R, but wore the 6R,. because the 4R was way too short, particularly with the heels that I planned to wear. The 6R was a little bit big on me, but having it be the proper length was more important to me. Some reviewers complained about the sequins, but I didn't have any trouble. I wore some runner's body glide under my arms and it protected me from any possible chaffing. Also, I wore a stick-on bra, which worked great. (I don't like my bra straps to show, and the black strapless I planned to wear could be seen in the back. Going with the stick-on bra ensured that no bra lines or straps would be visible.) The train in the back makes the dress special and gives it some Hollywood glam. I wore spanx to keep my tummy flat. I will note that this dress isn't very forgiving in the belly region. If your tummy is a troublesome area for you, with the location of the waste-band, this dress really accentuates that region. Overall, this is a stunning dress that would be appropriate at any formal affair. Having red hair, the green was a great choice for me and helped me stand out in a sea of black.

I rented this dress as a back-up for an inaugural ball. It was a beautiful dress and very flattering, but I didn't end up wearing it. The lace shoulder straps were too loose & too long and didn't fit properly, particularly in the back.It almost seemed like they were stretched out. Had the straps fit properly, I probably would have worn the dress. Also, I had 4 1/2" heels and the length was great. I think that it still would have worked even if I had I worn lower heels. The color is beautiful and would probably look great on just about everyone. I love that the dress was so incredibly comfortable, particularly for a gown. It hugged my curves without looking too clingy or tight. If you could figure out how to fix the straps, it would be easy to dance the night away in this gown. I only gave it 3 stars, because of the straps.

The dress really hugs all of your curves. The fabric is clingy more than stretchy. It was back-up dress for me, so I am glad that my first choice worked out. While I liked the dress, it just wasn't the most flattering on me - largely because the blue was too bright for my pale skin tone. As always, though, the RTR team was awesome in assisting me and making sure my experience was exceptional.

I loved wearing these earrings. They were really unique and a welcome departure from your typical rhinestone baubles. I received compliments all night long.

The dress is beautifully made, but there is a lot of fabric. I am curvy, so the draping at the hips just wasn't flattering. There are a lot of unique features, particularly the back of the dress. If you are tall and not curvy, this dress could be stunning. If you are 5'5" or under, the dress will likely overwhelm you. It was my back-up, so the evening was still a success.
