This  dress is a great summer dress for a date, party or wedding. 

Ended up wearing a different dress to the wedding even though I liked this one - couldn't raise my arms above my head so wouldn't be good for dancing. It was also a little more body-con-y than I was going for 

 I took the larger size.. I usually wear and 8 -10 . I'm curvy.. But  the 10 i couldn't zip up. I thought maybe I gained weight,  but my other dresses i own still fit.  It's tight but elegant and makes you look great.. perfect length for short women.. I did notice on the 12 the lining was flipping up around the neck a little. Other than that, it was fine. the other thing I  noticed about this dress is the way your stomach looks in photos.. I don't have a protruding middile but i guess it's so light  colotred and tight any shadows below the belly will accentuate  your stomach..  I can see that online in the other photos.. i still didn't mind. the dress is so pretty and i got a lot of compliments.  

The 6 was too tight so I got an 8.  Beautiful dress otherwise 

As other reviews mentioned, it was a bit tight under the armpit area. I am 5'7", 160lbs and could have gone with the 8 to be more fitted, but ultimately chose the 10 to have room to breathe. The color is so pretty and I got so many compliments all night. I would absolutely rent this dress again. 

Worn for a wedding at which I recited poetry during the ceremony. The style was conservative enough for that purpose but the length and see-through sleeves made it fun for partying too. Those details as well as the pretty lacework all over also kept my very flat-chested figure from looking too boring. Nothing to adjust or tug at during the evening. Very thick, form-hugging liner. But the shorter length and lace sleeves kept me cool and comfortable in overcast but warm early summer in NY weather.

Beautiful dress for a wedding. Made me feel very pretty in photos. It is tight and not forgiving at all. I was sucking it in all night long. Also a little short for a tall girl (5'9)

Beautiful dress with gorgeous periwinkle color, but definitely runs small with no give. I'm typically a 4, sometimes a 6 with something that runs small, and even the 6 in this was bunching/not the most flattering while sitting. I also realized at one point that the zipper likes to creep up and unzip itself from the bottom the more you move around. Yikes! Wardrobe malfunction avoided, but something to watch out for

It was a gorgeous dress! It was tight and I couldn't really put my arms up and down easily so I opted to wear this to the rehearsal dinner instead of the wedding. I would have been more comfortable in the size 2 if it was available. 

This dress is intricate and the color prettier than in the photo. I would've felt more comfortable had I sized up. I sucked it all in throughout the day and I had trouble crossing my legs with ease. Still, I made it work. I did forget my shoes and as such, ended up wearing my wedge sandals. Maybe not the best choice. 

The dress was so perfect and appropriate for this occasion, everyone was so obsessed with the dress,  they couldn't tell I was on IV fluids 12 hours prior! Worn with nude pointed toe pumps. 

Wore this dress to a first communion and it was the perfect dress for the event. I often wear size 2 on DVF but this dress ran tight around the chest/shoulders so I had to return and get a 4 instead. 

I rented this for my 15 year old and she looked stunning!  It was classy and very appropriate...she got compliments all night! The lace has absolutely no give to it so I would recommend going a size up!  

I just loved the lavender shade and the modesty, yet sassiness! Lovely and I wanted to wear it all day! Fit was true to size and I got many compliments!

Cute dress and was great for a winter wedding that wasn't too formal. Didn't LOVE the look but it fit nicely and was comfortable to wear.

Got tons of compliments!!! No issues with fit for me and opted to NOT wear spanx type underwear and felt comfy. Reviews did say tightness around arms, was a little in the armpit like the seam was too low but danced all night without problem. Would recommend and rent again!! 

I am 5'10" and the length was perfect. Slightly snug across the shoulders but otherwise perfect. 

Wore for a Christmas party. The color was a perfect light blue/lavender and so comfortable. The fabric is delicate and like new. I'm 5'6" and the length was long enough to feel comfortable for an entire night. I can't imagine someone with a larger chest being true to size in this dress.

Usually I am somewhere between a 2 and 4, but I know this designer runs small so I went for the 4 and thought it was perfect! It was loose enough to move freely but snug enough to show curves. At first I was worried about looking too matronly but the low back and the nude underlay help so much! Would love to rent this again.

My daughter wore this to homecoming. She got several compliments, and looked gorgeous (I know I'm biased). She normally wears an 8 or 10, and we ordered the 10. It was a tiny bit tight, but definitely loosened up once zipped. She looked beautiful...age appropriate without being trashy. The length was great, as well. She is 5'11", so we often struggle with mini dresses… But this was perfect. 

The dress fit perfectly. I wasn’t uncomfortable in it at all and the detail was beautiful. I originally ordered a different dress and this was my back up. I received so many compliments on the dress. 

The size 2 dress fit perfectly for a wedding that we traveled out of state for. I packed the size 2 after trying it on briefly before we caught our flight. It was both classy and flattering. I loved the length and the lace patterning. It also was a great material for the evening summer temperature in the 60s. However, when I put the dress on for the night, I did notice there was a black stain on the lace overlay portion of the dress. I was instantly bothered despite it being tiny because I knew it was there and I didn't pack the size 4 as a backup. I tried a tide pen and a tide wipe and neither took the stain out. I have rented dresses before with RTR and never had this problem. I will be hesitant to rent again after that incident though. The dresses should be looked over more carefully. 

I wore this dress for a semi-formal (first time I heard the term "Dressy Casual") outdoor wedding in Napa Valley. The wedding was unseasonably warm, so I was a bit hot until the sun started to drop. Fortunately I didn't have to wait long.
It was a gorgeous dress and I was comfortable when the weather hit around mid 70s, until I started dancing. I also have broad shoulders, so the fit was a bit tight and I had to size up.
This dress is pretty versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down. I wore strappy sandals so I didn't feel too dressy. 
It feels slighly heavy so I wouldn't suggest this dress for a summer outdoor wedding - it's much better suited for when the temperature is around 60-78 degrees F.

Beautiful fit and so luxurious I loved this dress so much! It was so perfect for a spring event in Florida. I'd totally wear again!

I loved this dress! Other reviewers were right when they said it doesn't stretch, but it was still comfortable overall. You may need to size up for it to fit the arms and don't think you'll be able to reach overhead comfortably. I got plenty of compliments so it was definitely worth it!

This dress is beautiful and made me feel great. I am usually in between a 0-2 and the 2 fit perfectly. The 0 was a little tight in the shoulders, so if you are in between sizes, I would recommend going for the larger one.

I had to order way up on this dress. Usually an 8 or a 10. But the 10 did not fit my arms at all! I ordered the 14 and it fit comfortably. A cute, fun, sexy, and appropriate dress. Beware of the zipper on the back though, it has a dual zipper and the bottom one started to ride up on me from moving around in my chair. 

Fits a little small. I did notice it can be slightly unflattering if you have any midsection weight... probably a good dress to wear though if you're like 4-5 months pregnant though! 

Beautiful dress. The size 4 fit but was a bit snug in the shoulders - I felt more comfortable in the 6. The lace was lovely and the dress felt like it was of great quality. 

I wore this dress for Easter Sunday at church and absolutely loved it!! This is actually my 3rd time to rent this same style/designer only in different colors. I adored this lilac color because it had a beige underlay unlike the other colors in this same style. The lace is very intricate which I loved. For some reason this dress seemed to be a little bit longer which I actually liked since I wore it to church. I wore the 2(I'm 5'3, 115lbs). Don't hesitate to rent this! You won't regret it!

I rented this dress for my bridal shower and could not be happier with my choice! I received nothing but compliments. There's no stretch, so broader shoulders may struggle. My one complaint, which I hadn't realized until half way through the party, is that there's a zipper on the bottom of the dress, which kept unzipping on its own. 

I like the nude color behind the lilac. Great fit. Sexy but classy. 

I got this dress as a backup.  It's a very feminine, pretty dress perfect for a spring wedding.  I opted for a black dress for my winter holiday party.  But I would rent this for a future event.  Fit great, true to size.  Beware you'll have to wear a shaper underneath to hide a pooch!  I'm not wearing one in the pic.

I loved this dress! I wore it to a wedding and I felt absolutely beautiful. The color is lovely and the little scalloping on the collar of the dress adds a subtle touch. I would definitely size up for your backup - I run as a 4 pretty consistently, and the 4 fit perfectly without a bra, but had I needed to wear a bra, I would definitely have needed the 6. I would definitely recommend this dress!
