Perfect full length pant for winter
These are perfectly full length on me (5’6” with long legs), although I do not wear heels. Great movement when you walk! Have rented multiple times and get compliments every time I wear. They run big. I started with my usual size 6, but after losing a few pounds I’ve gone with a 4. Pear shape approved - the waist is fitted and the hips have enough room! Love them.

Beautiful, but knit is SO scratchy
So disappointed, it is a perfectly cut, super flattering dress, ideal for work…But the knit is so unbelievably scratchy I wanted to rip the dress off before the workday was over. My shoulders and neck took the worst of it. A shame, because it is perfect for pear shapes and beautifully designed. If you decide to try it, consider wearing an undershirt. I won’t rent it again. Bummer!

Festive and fabulous
Wow, this dress over-delivered! Runs a bit large overall. Incredibly comfortable. Obvious from other reviews, flattering on many body types (I’m pear shape). I just wish the back cutout was a little higher to hide bra strap, I used fashion tape. And yes, you could comfortably go bra-less, but I was wearing for a work event and wanted the support of a bra. Rent it!!!

Great with the matching top
Elastic waist with a forgiving material and fit, I could have probably sized down one size and still been comfortable. Loved the look with the matching top, but I didn’t love the pants enough to try them on their own with a different top. I can see this outfit being flattering on a wide variety of shapes and sizes!

Exquisite piece
Way outside of my comfort zone, but it can be so hard to score a matching set I decided to try it when I saw both pieces were available. Several reviews mentioned issues with the boat neck being too large so I was worried about sizing as I have narrow shoulders. I actually had no issues with it sliding off my shoulders nor my bra straps showing. In my opinion it needs a bold necklace or a chain belt. Got a ton of compliments from coworkers and customers. I can see this outfit looking great on a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

In theory I loved everything about this shirt
I’m a sucker for ruching, sheer sleeves, and after a recent shoulder surgery it’s button down shirts for the win. Admittedly I’m lousy at styling things, but I found this shirt very challenging to pair, I didn’t like it with black nor blue pants. I went with white, as my fashionable sis just returned from Prague & Vienna (Oct 2025) and reports everyone is wearing white pants (and had pics to prove it!). While this top has a lot of elements I like, it just didn’t come together for me.

I had to go up a size, I started with a 6 but they were too snug, the 8 was a more comfortable fit. Love the metal accents on the front. If you are a pear shape like me, I suggest sizing for your hips, and know the waist may gap a little.

Odd fit for me
Was so excited to get these and thought I’d love them, but they didn’t love me. I’m a large 6 and tried a medium. Looked huge coming out of the bag. But the waist seems pretty true to size, in fact I had to wiggle it over my pear-shaped hips. Made me look 10 lbs heavier. Very heavy pants. These are going back new with tags still on, sadly.

I wanted to love this, but it was a flop! I'm a 32C, usually a 4/6 in tops, with narrow shoulders and slim arms. The arms run very slim. The fit around the bust feels weirdly off. The length was awkward on me. I suffered through a day with it and a strapless bra, and couldn't wait to get both off. Bummer, because I love the colors and print.

Great design, didn't love the print
Love the lighter mesh fabric as I get way too hot in heavier turtlenecks. Fit great and some puff at the shoulders helps balance my pear shaped body out. But as the day went on I grew disenchanted with the print. I found it too busy for me. For that reason, it's a one-and-done for me.

Perfect post-surgery shirt
Lived in this shirt for 24 hours after having hand surgery! The large armholes and roomy body fit easily over a monster cast on my arm. Soft, cozy, comfortable. Not something I'd wear otherwise as I'm not wild about the color. But it made for a perfect rental.

Loved the feel and fit was okay, but I couldn't land on a single top in my closet that worked with these. The only thing that would have looked okay was a black bodysuit (same as how RTR styled it), which wasn't an option with my arm in a cast. Sadly, sent them back unworn.

I'm not afraid of a voluminous sleeve. And I can get down with some puffy shoulders (I lived through the 80's after all). As a pear shaped person I'm okay adding a little interest and/or volume to my upper half. But this shirt is not for those with narrow shoulders. It looked ridiculous. Clown-like. Not a well proportioned design in the shoulders. Body of the shirt runs large as well. And while the fabric is gorgeous, I realized I'd like it better on a throw pillow.

Normally a 4 in pants. Tried the small first. Thought I'd mistakenly stumbled into the Juniors department, these run seriously small. Sized up to a medium which barely fit and weren't flattering. If you have any width across the hips (I'm a pear shape), good luck with these. Also, I hate a side zip pant that doesn't have a hook & eye to assist with the zip-up. Giving them 3 stars because I liked the fabric and I see they look fine on others, just not for me.

Summer perfection, great for pear shape
Wow! Beautiful print. Lined on the bottom. Waist tie actually cinches, it isn't just decorative, great for those of us pear shapes with a smaller waist relative to hips. Imagine this would be flattering on a range of body types, very forgiving especially on the bottom half. I'm usually between a 4/6 in dresses. The 4 fit with ample room. I'm certain a 2 would have fit as well, but I liked having a little roominess. Regular bra & no need for Spanx...yes, I bought it!

Cool & classy
Unique piece! Love a white garment that is fully lined, no see-through worries. (Although lining might make it too warm for outside on a hot humid day). Contrast stitching is a great touch. Fits true to size on top but the bottom is a bit large on me. I'm pear shaped so I often find waists run big on me; have to cinch the wrap all the way on this when I tie it. Not obvious in pictures are fun side slits covered by the over-wrap. Incredible movement when you walk! Many compliments.

Summer romper perfection
Love this romper! Cool and comfortable. Regular bra friendly is a plus in my book. The length just made it on me; at 5'6" I had to shrug and contort myself a bit to get it off. And I have a short torso. Worked great on my pear shape, the waist runs small compared with the hips. Buttons in the front made it easy to undo. The belt has a little wrap-like effect from the sides which I liked. Had to iron it after being in my suitcase, that was the only downside. Hope to rent it again!

Loved it so much I bought it
Rented to wear at work for July 4 and was surprised by how much I loved it! The colors, the fit, and the fabric. Cool and comfortable on a very hot day. Regular bra friendly and no Spanx necessary. I'm often between 4/6 in dresses but find Kate Spade runs small. I could have worn a 4, but I liked having just a little room in the 6.

I typically wear a 4 or 6 in dresses. Rented the small and it was huge on me. My husband said it looked I could put 5 of me in it. Suggest sizing down at least one size. I'm sure it will look lovely on many people, it's just not for me.

I'm normally a 2 or a 4 (and sometimes 6 depending on brand). Ordered the 4 and they were quite small on my body shape (pear shape). Those who have a more straight & narrow build may find them true to size. I would need to size up one or even two sizes. That being said I will try sizing up, because these shorts are lovely!! Beautifully made and I love the mixed patterns.

Crazy in love with these!
Love these! Pull-on with elastic waist. I'm a pear shape with a small waist relative to hips. These were perfect, the elastic waist was great and the hips had enough room. Also I couldn't tell from the pictures, the pants have a split hem on the sides which gives them a flare with fun movement. Super comfortable, soft fabric that held its shape - no bagginess after wearing all day! SO many compliments. Paired with RTR Club Monaco Riella top. Hope to buy these pants someday!

Surprisingly sheer
Surprised by how sheer this top is, expected it to be more opaque. That was the only down side. Loved the fit, fabric is super soft, very cool & comfortable. Had to touch it up with an iron before wearing. It did wrinkle through the day, although not as much as I expected it to. Perfect for under jackets especially if you need something lightweight & cool. Tag says machine washable. If it wasn't somewhat sheer I would buy in a heartbeat. Great with RTR Pam & Gela Floral Pant!

Wow! I usually prefer more fitted tops but I'm glad I tried this. Looks great loose or French tucked. The sleeves are awesome, fashion forward without being overwhelming. Love the colors. I rarely rent 100% cotton because I hate ironing. This arrived ready to wear out of the bag, no touch-ups needed. I was surprised how little it wrinkled throughout the day! Paired with RTR Colovos Side Panel Jeans, a great matchup. Definitely will rent again, would love to buy someday!

Comfortable, lightweight, perfect!
I am a pear shape and very hesitant to try any jeans. These were perfect for me! Small enough in the waist that I had zero gaping! And roomy enough to accommodate my wider hips! I have a flat butt and these jeans even improved the rear view. Fabric is soft, very little stretch, and surprisingly lightweight. Paired with RTR Ulla Johnson Arusi top. These run a good half-size big, I may size down and see if I prefer the smaller size.

Fun casual top
Sweatshirt-like material, but a little thinner/stiffer than a sweatshirt. It's actually split on the sides which I didn't realize. A great design, the slit sides allow you to tie it without adding a bunch of bulk around your middle! The ties are actually part of the fabric of the shirt back. And once it is tied you cannot see the side slits. A little shorter than I'd like, and I am short-waisted. And I had to fiddle with the tie periodically. But still a fun shirt!
