Effortless summer dress

This dress was my go-to for the summer of 2021.
I LOVED this dress. It was so versatile, comfortable, and even had pockets. I wore it at least ten times. It was a great pool cover-up; perfect for birthday parties; great for a lunch date. It was hard to let this one go.

Excellent cut and tailoring!
This dress fit so nicely and the tailoring and quality are top-notch. The fabric is on the thicker side, so it is perfect for spring (and fall) but would probably be a bit hot in summer.

I love the fabric of this jacket. I got so many compliments at work. It is a little longer than most jackets I wear (I'm pretty petite), but it looked great with a simple black sweater and slim black pants.

I love the leather shoulders and fun waistline. Unfortunately, I felt like the waistline hit my waist a bit low, but I'm short-waisted. The dress also has a gorgeous liner, which is a cute surprise.

This is a great work jacket, with a lighter side. The tweed is colorful and classic, without being as bulky as some tweeds. The black ruffle is a nice, feminine touch. Will wear again.

Cute ruffles, but very snug
I initially rented the XS since I'm generally a 0/2, sometimes a 4. It was too tight, so I sized up to a Small. I still felt like the dress was tight. I suspect a Medium would be too long in the torso, but a bit less snug. If you are not totally body confident, this dress may not be for you.

Great fit and fun for summer.
I love the cut of this dress and the flattering blue and white stripe pattern. I wore it with a white jacket for work and will definitely wear it again, though I might try a size 2 for comparison. The pockets are also great. The look is fresh and crisp for summer. Great for work, but also good for casual and networking events.
