Flattering but…
Very flattering style and perfect length (I’m 39 and don’t feel comfortable wearing super short any more). The one issue is it needs a snap or something in the chest because it’s completely open for all to see. I used a safety pin but that looked a bit tacky.

The idea & color of this top are adorable, but it doesn't work. The fit is all wrong--one of those you come across that are both too large & too small at the same time. I am a 34B and my chest was bursting out of the M.

Not a fan
I rented this top because of how great the reviews were, which is why I'm writing one myself. I didn't end up wearing this top because: 1) it was too short; it was only slightlyyy longer than my high rise jeans and I couldn't lift my arms up without the top of my stomach showing, and 2) it didn't flatter my arms; it cuts in above the armpits. If you have anything you want covered on the side of your armpits, then this top isn't for you either. The barely yellow color is quite cute.

Chest Too Tight
I was unable to wear this dress because it was too tight in the chest and a bit tight in my upper arms. I'm only a 34B so it's odd that the Size Small was too tight in the chest. I wouldn't be able to wear the Medium because then the rest of the dress would be too big (it's already flowy).

Didn't Work
I tried both the S and M sizes on in this dress and couldn't wear either of them. The S was quite unforgiving to the mid-section, and the fit of the M was off (too big in odd places). I think if you have a non-curvy (at all) body shape then it could work well for you. The color isn't as shimmery in person and the fabric is itchy/uncomfortable.

VERY form-fitting
I rented my usual size 4 and a size 6 as the backup for a bachelorette party and didn't wear either because they were too tight. I could have worn the 6 with Spanx, but Spanx were longer than the dress. It was mainly that it wasn't flattering in my mid-section and the color wasn't my favorite either.

I rented my go-to size 4 to wear this dress for Easter because of the other reviews and it was much too large (and not short at all -- hit just above my knees). I think the 2 would fit perfectly, so I recommend to size down if you have similar height and measurements to me, or are even smaller. Other than that, the style and color were very flattering.

Gorgeous color
I don't have a picture, but wore this top for Easter. If anyone is like me and has trouble finding long-sleeve tops that fit your arms as well as the rest of your torso (since designers tend to forget some of us actually have biceps), this top will fit you true-to-size. The color is gorgeous and I like how low-cut the v-neck is, but someone with a larger bust would need to wear a cami under if going to a more conservative event.

Beautiful Colors & Pattern, but . . .
I wore this dress in a Size 4 for my goddaughter's baptism. I didn't order a back-up size for this dress because I always wear a 4 in Trina Turk, unless it's one of her flowy styles and then I wear a 2. Definitely order a size up as your back-up size! I don't even have wide hips and the dress was tight on my hips and quad muscles. When I would sit, the dress went up higher than I was comfortable with. Also, there is a built-in white, lace slip that will show at times that I wasn't a fan of. Another issue I had with the fit was that the two pleats/darts on the front of the dress that hit where your stomach is are not flattering. I felt that they stuck out and made me look preggers, so I'm not sure if the Size 6 would have been baggier in this area or not. The colors are more neon in person, and I loved that aspect of this dress.

Odd Fit
I rented this dress for NYE but didn't end up wearing it because the fit was very odd; loose in the wrong places and tight in the wrong places. It did not fit like another Nicole Miller dress I rented and that one was perfect. It was also extremely uncomfortable. It was too bad because it looks so cute on the model!

Beautiful Color
I wore this dress on Easter and it was a hit with my family. My family would definitely speak their mind if they thought otherwise. ;) I was worried that I wouldn't be able to wear it because the fabric on the chest area was really itchy when I tried it on, but my strapless bra prevented the itchiness from bothering me when I actually wore it. The straps aren't adjustable but were the perfect length, the fit of the dress is very much true to size, and the length was perfect--not too short and not too long. The color is gorgeous in person. I will probably rent this dress again this summer.

Comfortable & Flattering
There wasn't a huge difference between the size 2 and size 4 in this dress, so I went with the 2 because it looked best on. I wore this to a friend's baby shower and it was extremely comfortable and flattering. The colors in the skirt portion of the dress are much brighter in person. I would have given it 5 stars, but it was a but frumpy for my taste.

Very flattering!
The cut of this dress is very flattering. The waist & hips areas are fitted enough to be flattering and not hanging like a potato sack, yet loose enough to feel comfortable and not need to wear Spanks with. You can wear a regular bra, the color is very pretty, and the length is perfect; not too short & not too long. The only part of the dress I don't love is the end portion of the sleeves. They aren't too funky, as I had worried they would be, but they will dip into food or drinks on the table if you're not careful.

Almost Great
I rented this dress in a Size 6 because my usual Size 4 is always too tight in this brand, and the 6 technically fit well. I didn't end up wearing it to my friend's birthday party because the cut of the dress in the front was not flattering on my legs. It looked cute from the sides and from behind, but the geometric shape wasn't cute from the front. My chest looked fantastic, though, and I'm only a 34 B / 32 C, so if you want a dress to highlight the girls then this would be a good option for you.

Not Flattering & Too Shimmery
I rented this top in a Small to wear to my friend's birthday party but didn't end up wearing it because it wasn't flattering and it was much too shimmery. The fabric is very odd; it's not itchy but it looks like something an older woman would wear and not a 20 or 30 year-old. The fabric looked frumpy and it was too sparkly in person (even though it looks cute in the picture on RTR). I ordered the XS as my back-up size and it was too tight in the chest area (I'm a 32 C or 34 B).

Odd fit
The fit of this dress was odd on me so I was unable to wear it. The arms were a little tight at my biceps, but not incredibly tight; I am someone who doesn't have super skinny arms so most people should be okay. The main issue was that the dress was noticeably too loose above my buttocks but then too tight at my hips. I think this dress was made for taller women who aren't very curvy. If that's you, you should definitely rent this dress because the pattern is very pretty!

Great fit & gorgeous colors!
The colors in this dress are so gorgeous in person! I wore it to the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, & welcome drinks for a wedding I was in. I am usually a 4, which fit everywhere except for it was too tight under my armpits. I am a 32C/34B, so don't have a huge bust area, so not sure why it fit me like that. The 6 fit perfectly so I went with that size. There isn't a huge difference between the 4 & 6 fit-wise, but it wasn't tight under my armpits. I definitely recommend this dress & would rent it again.

Comfortable & flattering!
I wore this to my friend's Christmas party this year and my friend's all loved it. It was a little short but totally fine with nylons or tights. It is almost true-to-size but I went with the 2 because it was a little more form-fitting than the 4. It is less metallic in real life but still pretty, and it's very comfortable to wear. I would def rent this one again!

Too Tight
I am a true size 4; occasionally I can wear a 2 if the brand does vanity sizing and occasionally I am a 6 if the brand does the opposite. There was no way I was walking out of my house in this dress in my regular size 4. It was completely unflattering due to how tight it was. Unfortunately a size 6 wasn't available as a backup, so that may have fit perfectly. I definitely recommend ordering at least a size up as your backup.

Didn't Fit Well
I rented this for a holiday party and didn't wear it because the fit was not flattering. I am a true size 4 and that size in this dress was tight and loose in all the wrong places. The 6 was definitely too big. I think this is one of those styles that only looks good on very slim figures that have no curves -- and I don't have huge curves since I'm petite.

I was going to wear this dress in a size 4 to a cocktail party tonight but it arrived with a noticeable hole in the lace on the left sleeve. It's true to size but please be aware that it is not forgiving around the mid-section & as other reviewers noted (which I missed when I ordered this) it is VERY busty. As someone who has a pale chest and lacks gorgeous cleavage, that would not be flattering. On a positive note, the length was great and it smelled very good. :)

Just Not Right
Both the 4 & the 6 looked off on me. The 4 fit better, but neither were capable of being worn in public. My friend had a similar issue with a Shoshanna dress and I am officially staying away from this brand! Her dresses (including this one) poof out in a weird manner at your waist and make you look pregnant, but then slim down both in the back and front toward the bottom of the dress. It is what I call the "tulip effect" and it is not cute. Unless you are stick thin I'd stay away from this brand.

Comfortable but not spectacular
I wore this dress in a size 4 but probably should have ordered a 6 as my back-up and worn that one instead. Even with Spanx on I didn't find this dress flattering on my mid-section. Also, the color was a much lighter orange than in the picture. The dress was extremely comfortable and people did seem to like it, but I most likely won't order it again.

Gorgeous color!
I wore this dress to a "bridal tea" for my friend's wedding. The color is much more vibrant and green-toned in person, which I liked. I could have worn the 4 but went with the 2 because it was more fitted and had less fabric hanging. The 2 was a little tight in my armpits but not too tight to wear, and was otherwise a very comfortable dress. I highly recommend this one!

Pretty dress, but uncomfortable!
I usually wear a size 2 or 4 and luckily the reviews said to order a size up because I needed to wear the size 6 in this dress. I probably could have even gone with an 8 for the body of the dress because the mid-section is NOT forgiving. The only reason I could wear this dress was Spanx. Because I was wearing the 6, the straps were much, much too long. The dress is a pretty color and looks great in photos, but between wearing a bustier (a regular strapless bra would have shown), Spanx, and double-sided tape in 6 different places to keep the straps up without looking odd, I don't think this dress is worth it!

The other reviews were correct in that you have to pin or tape the dress so you don't reveal all of your cleavage to the world. I also didn't like that I had to wrap the sash around my waist twice because it didn't look smooth or sit nicely in the back. The color was pretty, but it wasn't the most flattering dress I've rented from here.
