Rented this dress for an annual holiday work party. The dress is short--If you don't wear hosiery with it I imagine it would feel pretty breezy. Also, due to the sleeves; if you throw your arms up in the air dancing at your event be aware that the dress will ride up. I ordered the 2 and the 4--both seemed equally short. I wore the size 2 because the 4 had a bagginess to it in the midsection that I didn't like, and the sleeves on the 4 were longer than I cared for. In a nutshell: size down, wear some kind of tights and don't do the "YMCA" with wild reckless abandon. Great dress for a holiday party!

Wore this for a friend's spring Bachelorette Party, which was Lace and Glitter themed. Loved the flattering cut of the dress - and the length was perfect. However, I'm only 5'0" -- any taller and this would have been REALLY SHORT!! Got compliments the whole night. Highly recommended! 

This dress was very comfortable and perfect for dancing! It is very short so I recommend wearing tights. The customer service I received from RTR was fantastic because my 2nd size wasn't in great condition. They quickly responded and were super helpful! Delivery was 1 day earlier too! I love RTR and will continue to rent!

So comfortable all day and flattering very easy to wear. I liked that it fit a little loose. Was a little worn. Just enough subtle gold!

This is a very pretty dress.  It was VERY short on me and I'm only 5'3".  I'm also 55 and I felt I needed something a little more suited for my age.  It would have been perfect for my 28 year old daughter.

It was shorter than I thought so I just paired with sheer tights. It felt great and I was comfortable all night. I wore it to a rehearsal dinner. Fun dress. Will rent again.

This dress was awesome! It was so comfortable and perfect for a night out. I wore it for a friend's birthday to a casino and club. The detail was pretty and the cut of the dress fit in all the right places. It was a bit short and I am a short girl, but that wasn't an issue since it was snug on the legs. 

This dress was very comfortable and flattering.  It looks better on than it photographs.  I think it would work well for most body types and bust sizes!  This is a good one!

This was the 1st time I had rented from RTR & loved the overall experience. I rented this dress for a fun night out with friends in Dallas. The best part was that since I am from San Diego, I was able to have the dress sent to my friends house in Dallas! I paired this dress with a black jacket & just felt comfortable in the dress all night! Since this time I have rented from RTR for 7 different occasions & will continue to do so!

I wore this to Cornell Fashion Collective's annual runway show. I rented both the 10 and 12. The 10 fit, but I wore the 12 for the extra length, as I knew I would be on my feet all night. The elastic waist and the loose dolman sleeves made the dress comfortable, and I loved the gold shimmer. I got a ton of compliments and would recommend this dress to anyone!

I wore this for Valentine's day. I ordered the 8 as well but it was pretty loose up top. (story of my life) The six fit great, a little snug around the hips but had good stretch and my hips are big so I expected that. It was in good shape and super comfortable. I would definitely recommend this dress!

This was my first RTR experience and I expected the dress to have some wear and tear but it was in great shape, very comfy and everyone loved it. It was a little itchy but nothing horrible. I wish I could have kept it! 

I rented this dress for NYE. It was for a 20's party, but I wanted a modern dress and 20's accessories. This dress worked great for that. The fit of this dress was just as described. If anything, it's slightly short (I'm a short girl and it was pretty short on me), but with tights it worked out perfectly. I'm a bigger gal but I liked how it made me look and it was incredibly comfortable. You should rent this dress!

Dress was very comfortable, elastic waist. pretty lace sleeves and v neckline. Short even on me at 5'2"...but wore with black tights and shoes and it looked good and festive

I rented the 2 and 4 and went with the 4 because the length was a little more appropriate.  I wanted a sleeved dress and wore it with black tights and heels since winter in Chicago is cold.  Now about this getup: the fit was perfect and was very forgiving to the waist area and the bust did not reveal too much cleavage (not that I even have much cleavage).  The color was great, too, not too much or too little of the gold and fit with the "casino" theme of the party.  I did have to push the sleeves up every now and then, but it wasn't annoying by any means.  RTR also hooked up the mystery bling, which were Nicole Miller's Southern Plantation earrings, and I LOVED those, too!  The after-party was at a nightclub and this dress was perfect for dancing the night away!

I wore this dress at a rehearsal dinner. It worked well with black tights. I read that it was short and it was, but with the tights it worked well. The fit on top is comfortable and loose. The lace is actually see through on the arms, which didn’t show well in the picture. The dress fit well and was fun to accessorize too!

This is a great dress for the holidays and the fall/winter season! It's comfortable and is great for showing off your legs. If you are tall, beware, because it might be a bit short on you. I wore it to my sorority semi-formal and got many compliments on it.

I usually wear between a 2-4 and opted for the 4 for this dress (because it was a little longer, I'm 5'8"). It's very comfortable, elastic waist, no difficult zippers. 

It fit perfect, it was not too tight and perfect length.

I ordered this as a back up for the actual wedding, but ended up liking it so much that I wore it to the rehearsal dinner. The dress is true to size, I normally wear an 8, but I wasn't sure, it was a little loose on me. The dress is extremely flattering and is very comfortable. It was a little short on me, but that is probably because I have a larger bust than most. I loved this dress and got so many great compliments. 

I LOVED this dress! I wore the dress to a work gala and it was a little sexy but not too revealing for the occasion. However, I did feel the need to wear a cami underneath as to not show too much cleavage. I'm quite busty and this dress was comfortable and I was able to wear the bra I wanted to. I had my eye on this dress for awhile, and when I found an excuse to get dolled up the night before a big formal event that I was already renting for, I added it to my order as a second dress. I wore this to a high profile holiday party. It was beautiful in person and perfect for the event. The fit was forgiving with a stretchy waist and loose top but still really flattering. It is pretty short, even on my short legs! It was a winter, night time event so I paired it with opaque black tights and heels. I felt great and was comfortable all night, didn't want to send it back!

however it was easy to wear comfortable, and Im sure it would have looked great for my birthday weekend. I have a big bust and this fit it very nicely,and was super comfortable.

I received a handful of complements on this gorgeous dress...and I could not have been happier with the outcome!  I received both a size 4 and 6 from RTR, and although the 4 fit fine, I was a bit skeptical about the length (as I had read via other reviews).  At the end of the day, I just felt more comfortable with the length of the 6...but hey, that's just me.  Regardless, I could not have been happier, as this turned out to be the perfect dress to dance the night away!

I absolutely loved this dress.  I wore it for my sister's rehearsal dinner.  I got the size 0 and 2.  I probably could have worn either one of them, but the 0 fit a little bit better.  It's short, so was perfect with black tights.  The sleeves are a little long so I had to roll them up, but no big deal.  I received so many compliments and it's the perfect dress for any occasion!

I wore this dress on my birthday.  Both the 8 and the 6 fit (I'm usually an 8) but the 6 hugged my hips a little more which I liked since the top is so loose.  It's definitely short and I probably wouldn't have felt comfortable if I hadn't worn black tights, but it was perfect for winter.  Great for out to dinner (it stretches) and also a cute party dress.  I loved this dress so much that I wore it two nights in a row and would definitely recommend it.

I rented this for Valentine's date night with my husband - I recently gained some weight (instead of the "freshman 15," I gained the "newlywed 15"), so I was looking for something that would be flattering. The dress runs a little large on the top - I got both the 4 and the 6, and while the 6 fit better on the bottom, it was pretty baggy on the top (and that's with 34Ds in a super-push-up bra). I ended up wearing the 4 with Spanx leggings on the bottom, and it was great! (I'm 5'2", and it hit above mid-thigh on me, so I definitely recommend tights or leggings if you want to sit down at all...)I wore it with heels the first part of the night, and then switched to flats later on, and felt fabulous both ways. With some edgy bronze earrings and a smoky eye, my husband literally couldn't take his eyes off me. I love this dress!

I ordered this for my work holiday party, and it was the perfect dress for the occasion! This was my 1st RTR order, and I was stressing out about if I selected the right dress, would it look good/fit etc. I ordered a 10 & 12. Both sizes fit, but I went w/ the 12 bc the skirt was a little longer. 

It had great stretch, perfect for dancing/sitting and I got TONS of compliments! 

I was able to wear both the 6 and the 8.  The 6 was a bit shorter and I wore it out to bars and the 8 I was able to wear to a nice dinner and felt a little more modest.

I was advised by a "stylist" for RTR to order my normal size (6) and one down (4) just in case. I ended up wearing the 6. The 4 was way short!  Keep in mind the dress is short, but still classy. This was my first RTR experience and I most defiantly will be renting again! I even rented a pair of earrings that were equally as beautiful...compliments all night. 

This was the perfect sexy, but not too sexy look that I was going for.  It was easy to wear and was a little shorter than I normally wear, but I still felt classy.  I wore the size 0.  It looks like this dress was a used quite a bit and that is my only complaint.  People were stopping me to take a full look because it was not your typical LBD.  I liked that it was unique and my boyfriend loved it too :)

This was a great dress that I received lots of compliments on.  I wore it out to a club and the sleeves were nice since it was a little chilly that night.  I would not have felt comfortable wearing it bare legged but the black tights were a perfect addition.  It's a fabulous winter dress!  RTR you have a customer for life!!

This was my first time doing RTR and it was amazing! First off, the dress is great. It has just enough gold on it and was super comfortable all night. The dress runs a little bit big, so I ended up wearing the smaller of the two sizes I got. They both looked great though. It was a bit short, but it was okay since it was January in New York and I was planning on wearing opaque tights anyway. The neckline laid perfectly for me, it was just enough classy cleavage. lol The sides of the top were a little too blousy, but I didn't notice until I saw pictures of myself. And the bottom is more fitted that the top, but still has comfort and stretch. I got a bunch of compliments throughout the night on the dress and the awesome earrings I got from Mystery Bling! So all that, coupled with the adorable little fashion helpers they send to you with you order, made RTR a fantastic experience for me. I can't wait to do it again for my next event!

Perfect dress for dancing all night at a New Years Eve party. The sleeves made it warm enough to walk there on a brisk San Francisco night without a jacket. Also loved that the sleeves were droopy (no pit stains!). The length was perfect on my short frame, but my taller friend tried on the backup and it was definitely too short for her.  Overall win. Would definitely wear again. 

The dress was beautiful but it is VERY short so make sure that's what you're looking for! 

I rented this for NYE because it looked gold, shimmery and comfortable. Turns out, the dress was hardly gold at all in real life. This was my fourth experience with RTR and my first disappointing one. Positives: the reviews were right in saying that the dress was extremely short; I'm really glad I sized up and got the ten because the 8 was terribly revealing. Also, the fabric was stretchy and very comfortable! I felt better in the dress than I thought I would after seeing that it didn't look like I had hoped. 

I rented a 2 and a 4, both fit but I ended up going with the 4 for the extra length. This dress is very very short. This dress was so much fun to wear. I got it for a date night and it was the perfect mix of fun, dressed up and sexy. I ended up wearing the smaller size because I felt the top draped better. It is pretty short, so I paired it with black tights and felt comfortable with the length.  The sleeves were a little longer than in the picture, but nothing that bothered me. There were some hanging strings, but this seems pretty common when renting lace dresses. The color was a darker gold, but I never felt that it looked like an lbd like some of the other reviewers said. All in all it was a great rental and I was really happy with this pick. 

This dress worked great for husband's Xmas party. The size 2 was way too big in the top for me, so I went to the Size 0. It was short, but so am I. I wore black tights and boots and did not feel self-conscious about it at all. There was a small hole in the sleeve that was well hidden in the lace. The neckline was a little worn too. The dress definitely looks mostly black with a hint of gold.

Very comfortable. Loved the fit. Could have used a skinny belt in black or gold. Overall great dress.

Dress felt great on, just wished it was a bit longer, like 2 inches or so, I am 5'3 and i constantly had to check that my behind was'nt on display. Gold on the dress was not very visible but it did look nicer than just a plain LBD. The sleeves made me feel very comfortable

Great dress. I would love to have it in my closet. It's versatile, easy, and just the right amount of sparkle. I danced all night! I wore it with tights and boots for a comfortable look for my birthday dance party. I should have gone with a size zero. This dress was loose fitting and a little baggy. 

I rented this for a celebration dinner at Alinea in the city.  I rented the 2 and the 4 and found both to be a bit big.  I wore the 2 anyway and it was still very comfortable.  It was a bit short but not terribly.  I'm not sure I would rent it again but if I did I would size down.

True to size, runs on the short side but very comfortable and forgiving. Highly recommend!!!

I loved this dress! I wore it out for dinner in Vegas during the winter so the longer sleeves were perfect for the cooler weather. I agree with other reviews; it's definitely on the short side! Also, the color is definitely more black than gold, which I was a little disappointed about. But overall, I was very happy with the rental! 

I have the unlimited subscription and rented this dress for my friend when she came to visit. The gold overlay material was very cool, but the dress was really short and pulled in the waist area and it rode up all night. It's very comfortable, but didn't fit her very well. Undergarments - maybe some Hollywood tape on the chest to keep it from falling while you sit, but just regular bra.

I wore this to my friend's Christmas party this year and my friend's all loved it. It was a little short but totally fine with nylons or tights. It is almost true-to-size but I went with the 2 because it was a little more form-fitting than the 4. It is less metallic in real life but still pretty, and it's very comfortable to wear. I would def rent this one again!

This was a great dress for a NYE party with friends! It was comfortable, though very short.  Also somewhat less gold than the photo looks, but still had some shine in it. It has a wide cut in the chest that I wasn't expecting,  but I got used to it as I wore it. Definitely recommend, but don't forget the black tights!

The fit was great, and I loved the fabric, though the 2 was a little short.  I had to keep pulling it down while dancing.  The long sleeves and conservative neckline (dress was pretty loose on top for my flatter chest) compensated, though, and it was perfect for a very classy late afternoon wedding, followed by an evening reception.  I would have felt out of place for a daytime event.  I wore it with tall black slingback heels.  My sister wanted to rent it as soon as she saw it!

It did ride up a little bit so make sure you get a size that makes it as tight as possible.

The color is definitely more black than gold, but it was still very pretty. I'm 5'9 and it was shorter than what I am usually comfortable wearing. But with black tights, it was all good! I sized up to the 10 to get a bit more length. I would definitely suggest sizing up if you are tall!

I was a little underwhelmed by this dress. It is not nearly as gold as it appears in some photos, which was a let down for NYE. Still it was very comfortable and was fine for a cocktail party. Renter beware: it runs short! 

This is my first rental from RTR and I have to say, I'm quite pleased! I have not worn the dress out yet, #NYE, but am already in love with it! I normally wear a 6, but got the backup in a 4 since most reviews and RTR suggests sizing down. While the size 6 fit fine, it smelled a bit like BO... I tried the 4 and it fits just a little more snug in the mid-section and overall looked better. IT IS SHORT!! In the professional photos, it also appears a little more gold than in person. It is quite dark, so if you're looking for something with a true gold pop you might want to try something else! I also rented the Elizabeth Cole - Jet Ombré Bacall Earrings (also wearing in the picture). They're a great compliment to the dress and give it a vintage-y vibe. 

Such a gorgeous dress. And it was so comfortable to wear during a holiday party. After a few extra Christmas cookies, it was still very forgiving all night. I am between a 6 and an 8 in dresses. The 6 fit quite well too, I wore the 8 just for the extra length on the skirt. Got compliments all night on it!

This dress may have been a little short for the occasion I chose - a company holiday party. I opted for the larger size to get a little more length out of it, but both sizes were flattering.  I still found myself pulling it down every so often, but it wasn't unforgivably short and I never felt like I might flash someone. The color is more black then gold. It's shiny but its subtle. I loved the dress, I felt confident and curvy.

I wore this for a work gala it turned out to be a good pick. I love the sleeves in it, they are lace though that's it. It really is too short I had to put tights on so just beware.  I guess if u were in Atlantic city it would be appropriate length.

I am not that tall and this dress was pretty short. I ordered the 4 and the 6 and wore the 6 because the 4 was WAY too short. I liked this dress a lot because it was very comfortable and still dressy enough for a wedding. All in all - not my favorite dress I've rented from RTR... but definitely worked for the occasion.

Sorry for the dark color of the photo. This dress is super short - and I am a short gal! Combine that with the low cut and the class factor is threatened. Not the most flattering for my apple shape.

The fit was good - just a little short. The pro that it was a flattering dress. It would look great on many different body types. The big CON was that it was supposed to be a shimmery looking dress. It was a black lace with gold shimmer on top of the lace - except this dress (and back up size) were so worn or washed too many times that the gold shimmer part was missing in many, many areas. So now what I had planned as a gold dress with gold shoes & accessories now looked more plain black than anything (black isn't bad but just not what I had planned). To finish on a POSITIVE note is that the RTR staff member that I spoke with about this issue was super helpful and willing to do anything to make this issue/complaint right.  SUPERB customer service & that has def kept me coming back as a loyal customer! 

Great fit! Got a lot of compliments! The gold doesn't stand out as much in person as it does in the picture so it'd be ok to pair with silver jewelry if you prefer that.
