I wore this dress in mid December I wanted to try it so bad. I wear dresses and dress up more than most everyday to feel pretty and always look my best for my husband to show him I think he's still important enough for me to keep trying my best even after a decade. This dress looked great and I loved it! I did have to wear a bralette with it because I have an 8 year old boy that's right at bust level and curious about the body. It was still cute. My son said I looked pregnant because the tie made my stomach looked not flat because of where it laid below the bust even though my stomach has always been fairly flat no matter my weight, so I obviously didn't love that lol. I didn't notice that personally though because it's free flowing everywhere below the bust so I think it would hide any issues a person may have with their own body. It was super low cut, but the product photo shows that so I expected it and didn't mind it other than when my son was home and awake just because I'm an augmented and perky 36DD so they are pretty obvious. It would be less revealing with a smaller chested woman I think, but is sexy no matter what. The sizes are pretty free and forgiving given the fit and I didn't need to wear a bra, but I don't think you could. The size I chose fit me well. For reference I'm currently losing weight fast, but when I wore this I'm 157.4 lbs 41" 36DD bust, 30' waist, 38" hip. It's hard to find clothes that fit since I'm a different size on every part of my top hourglass figure. This dress made looking great easy while being comfortable and putting little effort in. That's the exact reason I wear dresses most days lol. I will be watching for a drop in price because I personally don't think it's worth almost $500. Great rent though! Go for it! It would be great on any body type.

My body is a true hourglass with an over 9" difference between my waist and bust and waist and hips. This makes it hard to find clothes that fit since I'm a size 12 in the bust a 6 in the waist and an 8 in bottoms. The size I rented in this dress was tight and pulling on the buttons on the bust, but it wasn't so bad I couldn't wear it. The waist area just below the bust has a tie that goes through the dress and comes out as a tie you can actually tie tighter which helped it fit tighter there and be more fitted. Everything below that point is nice and flowy which is why I wear dresses most days. They are fashionable, they have a free fit below the waist (for the types of dresses I prefer), and I look great and put together while being comfortable and without much effort since it's a complete outfit. This dress has a medium weight cotton/light linen feel to it. It has a pink cotton slip attached to the dress from below the bust to the last button. It's a bit weird because it pulls on the dress a bit at the opening below the button. That may be intentional to make that front slit more obvious. It looked fine, but it just felt like I couldn't adjust it properly so I don't know. The color of the dress is a beautiful pastel. I loved this dress. The straps pulled a little because of my larger bust, but it wasn't something that ruined the dress. This dress would be perfect for spring or summer even though I wore it mid winter with a jacket because I loved the look so much. It's nice to wear at home to feel and look pretty for yourself and your partner, or to take out almost anywhere. I'm going to be keeping an eye for a much lower price because while I love it, it's not worth over four hundred dollars lol. For reference, the size I rented is above in the info about me. Is smaller on top. For me I'm a size 12 in the bust and an 8 everywhere else. It makes clothing remarkably difficult. Almost everything has to have stretch. It's fine, it's something I chose to have done, but that means I can't wear certain things of an average fit and no give. This would be great with someone who's smaller chested or less difference in their measurements. I think if I had been just one cup size smaller or had a bigger waist and hips and could wear a bigger size it would look amazing. It was a tad long, so wearing on a rainy day wasn't a great idea because booties didn't cut it and I don't like my pants to look like wide tubes touching the floor with 4 inch heels personally. My measurements are 5'5 tall, 158 lbs, 41" bust, 31" waist, 38" hips. The size I chose fit a bit loose around the hips, but it looked fine, a bit snug but fitted around the natural waist, and I was being pushed out of the top. It was really nice velvet fabric and construction on the bustier with a regular dress Pant fabric for the pants. I'd recommend if you're body is more accommodating to this piece.

Obviously i didn't buy it from RTR because it's still over $600, but I found an amazing deal on a new one and I bought it despite the price. It's an amazing dress. I was initially worried it wouldn't fit as I could barely get it over my hips in the size I rented (10), but I did get it on without ripping and then it was to die for! It's loose and flowy literally everywhere but the waist. It's still form fitting and sexy though. Love the slit. This dress can be dressed up or down. I wore without a bra, but I usually don't wear a bra so that's normal for me. I was worried it would be see through, and it had the potential for a faux pas because the dress is like a silk/tulle overlay and an attached black slip dress underneath that keeps everything hidden as long as it doesn't move or fall down below the breasts. I had to fix it a couple times, but had no slips. Gorgeous dress! Love this brand! I'm currently losing weight, but at the time I wore this I am 5'5, 158 lbs, 36D-36DD, between a size 8-12 depending on the brand (12 because of my top. Been wanting to try this designer. Found this outfit here and I think I'm going to purchase it new for half off from another retailer. The sweater is really warm and the intarsia knitting is great quality and set in nicely. My only issue is an issue i run into quite often with crop Top sweaters and loose tops. I'm what they call a "top hourglass". To be a true hourglass you have to have a 9" or more difference between your waist and your bust and your waist and your hips. I'm 41" (bust), 31" (waist), and 38" (hip) with having wide shoulders that are wider than my hips which makes me not any of the normal 4 body types. Because of this busty form and athletic hip look crop tops can hide my waist and make me look chubby. This sweater did that. That's the only thing I don't love about it though. I definitely recommend renting if you can pull off this type of cropped sweater. I'm currently at the time of renting this 5'5 and 158 lbs and losing. This size fit me well with a bit of room to move, but not much due to my bust (36D-36DD). Love this! High quality in the knit fabric and construction as well. Can't wait to try similar knit outfits from this brand. Love the cuteness and unique color schemes that are mostly pastel.

A sweater mini skirt. The paradox of skirts. Way too cold to have that much bare skin, but would be way too warm in the summer. So, I wore it with tights and thanked the lord I'm in Kentucky where we don't have snow until at least January. I love this skirt! I'm buying it new and on sale for half off in a couple days with the matching sweater. The skirt fits me perfect and is stretchy so it will fit any body shape I think. I'm busty. A top heavy hourglass according to my measurements. My hips aren't over 9" bigger than my waist or the same size as my shoulders, so I'm not a true hourglass. My waist is 31", I'm 5'5, 158 lbs (and losing), and a 38" hip. The size I ordered fits like a glove without giving me a muffin top. I wore it high Waisted at my belly button. The hem hit mid thigh. I'm proportionate in length. It's a nice thick knitted skirt with intarsia knitted design. Adorable with a slight flounce hem. I recommend for even curvy girls. However, be aware that I have had 3 sections and the shape of my pooch shows it. That little curve of the bottom belly showed up loud and clear even with light control spanx panties. It wasn't anything that bothered me too much. Pairs well with tights and the matching sweater for cooler weather.

I just ordered it for every day. My goal for my daily clothes is mostly comfy, cute, fashionable, and to look attractive for myself and my husband. It's easy with a dress, and more comfortable than sweatpants anyway. So, this dress ticks most of those boxes. It was a tad short even with no shoes/flats. I'm 5'5, but it was still cute. It had a lot of give at the only fitted point which was a shirred waistband. I'm currently losing weight. 15 lbs and 2 pants sizes down in the last 3 months. I still have a tendency to feel a bit chubby in some clothes. Some of that is because I'm an inverted triangle shape. The feminine shape is naturally a bit curvy, but a true hourglass has a 9" difference between the waist and the hips. My hips are straight and athletic with a bubble butt and no hips and 38" around. Small. My waist is tiny at 30" and my bust is 41" and a 36DD. I have broad shoulders as well. So, when an outfit is big and billowy on top and lays close to the body on the bottom it tends to make me appear much bigger than I am which this tended to do when the waistband ran up to the point it naturally wanted to lay at. It looked much better pulled down tight to the natural waist. It probably would have stayed with a waist belt, but I was just hanging around the house. I liked the slightly revealing bit at the cleavage. It added some flirtatiousness to the dress, and my husband liked that. Overall comfy and cute as a weekend style. Would recommend. I'm now between an 8-10 in size depending on brand, but usually a 10. The size I got fit, but I think it would have been more fitted and flattering one size smaller. I'm happy with the rent overall though.

I just rented this for a normal day. I like to dress up for myself and my husband, and overall just feel fabulous! This was super cute. I've lost 25 lbs since last November and 15 of those are in the last 3 months. I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I'm currently between a size 8 or 10. More comfortably a 10, but size is brand dependent. This has stretch, so it's easy to wear. I have a c-section belly and it shows curves I don't particularly like, but it's nothing too terrible. The outfit was really cute and comfy. My husband loved it. However, as you can see in the photos, it's much too long for me, so I wouldn't own it or rent it again. For taller people or someone planning on wearing super high heels you'd probably love it since that's the only thing not great for me when it comes to this outfit. The medium was initially tight in the waist when I was bloated, but stretches a bit so no muffin top. It fit great everywhere. I would size down if you're between sizes, but otherwise fit tts. As a high waisted skirt it hit mid calf on my 5'5 proportionate (in length) body. Cute and comfy. So, I love everything about this dress. Even the slightly high cut sweetheart neckline. However, when I put it on without a bra (the girls weren't going in otherwise), it was very tight which is common for me. The weird thing was is that I had these bubbles of loose fabric on my hips. This is made for someone who has hips. My hips are straight, but also indented which gives me a small bubble butt, but no shapely hips whatsoever. So, this could be very hot on a curvy lady who is not unnatural up top like I am, or bigger than the average lady in that department, but is also hippy on the sides. For reference, I rented a 10 and I'm commonly between a 10 and 12 depending solely on brand. I've lost 20 lbs since last November, so I'm currently 159 lbs, 5'5, busty, flat stomach, no hips, and a bubble butt. My chest is 41", waist is 31", hips are between 38-39" and indented/straight on sides. The 10 was loose on hips, not quite as fitted as I'd like in the waist because I like a super fitted look, and very tight in the bust. Take all that as you will. Great quality and look otherwise.

Omg! Apparently finding a velvet jumpsuit is crazy hard as an adult with curves. I've lost 20 lbs this year without realizing, and now that I'm actually trying I'm down to 159 lbs at 5'5. My waist us 31" and my bust is 41". I think my hips are "38 or "39. Anyway, renting an xl felt weird as I've never been an xl even on my worst days. Lately, I've been between a size 10 & 12 depending on brand. Mostly because my waist and bust are about 2 average sizes apart. So, rtr says an xl is a 10 and that the velvet fabric had some stretch, while other's said it's too small or fit true to size. So, I went with the xl. It fit great. I didn't have to unzip it to get it on and it still was form fitting enough. No riding up, not too short, not too tight or too loose. I love it. Now, it's definitely a vampy jumpsuit. The name fits well. I wore if without a cami or Bramlett when I first got it until I had to pick my 8 year old son up. My husband loved it without, and I didn't feel too booby around my chest height son later when I did wear a cami. Absolutely in love with this. So flattering! Definitely give it a go if you're of average height. It would moat likely be too short for someone who's above 5'8 imo. I usually wear a 32 length in jeans and it fits perfectly.

I was all ready to purchase this the day it came in. It looks adorable in the photo. I guess I should have read the stylist notes because I didn't realize from the photos that it was a satin-y fabric with a cotton look? It's a bit weird. It feels like it has some light boning which would be great if it fit. Fair warning: I have a weird body. My bust is 41" and my waist is 31". Finding non stretchy clothes that fit is impossible. I'm between an 8-10 in the waist and a size 12-14 in the bust. The Large makes it hard to breathe when it comes to how tight around my bust it is, but it has quite a bit of space around the waist. It makes me look shapeless which I hate since I already have broad shoulders and am a tad overweight still despite losing 20 lbs this past year. It zips all the way from the top to the bottom in the back so I needed help to get into it because I'm not a contortionist and I would have ripped it trying to put it over my head. So, keep that in mind. My bust is augmented and a bit firmer than natural ladies, so my issue may be specific to that. I'm not sure. I couldn't have gone any smaller or bigger in size. It just would have exacerbated current issues. Unfortunately, I think this top just didn't work for me as cute as it is. Positive note: it did end up still holding the pleating when I got it, so it was as structured as I had hoped it to be. The navy blue/ red is very fall/winter cute as well! This shirt reaches the top of my belly button. I'm 5'5 and don't have an especially long or short torso.

For me this dress was not forgiving whatsoever, and considering my bust is 10" larger than my waist finding clothes that fit is hard. It zipped very tightly around my 31" waist and then wouldn't even get close around my 41" bust. I think a size 12 would have fit, but unfortunately I rented a 10 since it's been the case more often than not lately that a 12 has been too large. Very disappointing, but that's a risk taken with something not reviewed. Maybe I can help some other busty ladies out there actually be able to wear this dress because it is to die for! It has a shiny satin look and feel thats heavy, but not too heavy. As with most of these layered straight necklines it doesnt work for my chest and body. I'm only a 36D-36DD, but they are firm and don't budge. Maybe someone else will have better luck. I'm 5'5 and the high front portion hit mid shin, but it would have looked nice with heels. The train wasn't dragging much so it wouldn't have been annoying at an event in my opinion. The shoulders have quite a high poof for this decade for my already broad shoulders but that's per each person's taste. Overall, a gorgeous dress. I only wish my weird body and no straight sizing between companies didn't ruin it for me again. Very annoying.

I wanted this dress from the moment I seen it online. However, when a lot of people are feeling every different way they can about fit it makes me unsure. I'm usually in a 10 or 12 depending on brand. I believe I rented the 10 in this and as a woman who has broad shoulders, is busty (between 36D-36DD), has a small waist that's 9" smaller than my bust, and straight athletic hips, it's hard to find clothing that accentuates my best features without being too big or little in another place on my body. I'm currently 159 lbs (I've dropped 21 lbs this past year so my sizes are a little Winkler than usual right now), and with my body type and a 31" waist at the smallest part the 10 fit well around my bust, but was slightly loose around the waist while fitting everywhere else. I like a really form fitting fit though, so that's just preference. I still loved it and bought it immediately. Such a unique design In cut, style, and color of pattern. Very fashionable. I bought this for everyday and I will be wearing it a lot this fall and winter. It's going to be adorable with tights! Go for it if you like to use your RTR for unique stuff that's not exactly cookie cutter, but isn't too crazy either. Super pretty flare.

I love this skirt! It's not a true navy like some other reviewers said. It's like a very dark navy. Almost black. It is so cute! I can never pull off a midi. Especially a trumpet skirt. It cuts me off in a weird way and makes me look odd. I normally would have passed this up, but when reviewers that were the same height as me posted pictures looking amazing I wanted to try it! It is a heavy knit. It feels more expensive, and I love that. The large gingham print is adorable for fall, winter, and spring. It would probably be too heavy for the summer imo. The band hits at the smallest part of my waist which is 9" smaller than my bust, so I love accentuating that. The skirt while hitting below the knee was somehow still flattering which amazed the heck out of me! I've lost 20 lbs this year. My stomach has always been flat-ish, but I have a bit of a pudge, and when I eat in this skirt I feel like people may wonder if I'm pregnant, possibly lol. I think after seeing the fit bars and reading some reviews from bustier gals I went with my bigger size, but I think either would have fit. I'm usually either a 10 or 12 depending on brand. After losing 20 lbs I'm more often a 10. I'm barely 5'5, 160 lbs, between a 36D-36DD, really thick legs with a lot of muscle, mostly flat stomach, broad shoulders, and pretty busty. The 12 fit fine almost everywhere. I don't wear a bra often which helps with fit sometimes (it can make me look too top heavy), so without it fit everywhere with some room. With a bra I was maxing out in available space for the bust. My waist is 9" smaller than my bust, so it's bound to be tight or loose somewhere in a fabric with no give like this dress, but it wasn't horrible. The twist in the waist still helped give some shape. The cape/scarf is adorable. I didn't realize it could come forward all the way though so that got in the way when I was bending over picking up after my 8 year old or the dogs. This could be cute for everyday, low key family events, or a low key date. I love it! I won't be keeping it at this price though. It's not quite that great! I will be watching for the price to drop though. I liked the slit in the legs. Added a little sex appeal to an outfit that could be too modest. The color, pattern, and fabric give me fall & winter vibes so I love it for the season. It would probably be cute with tights (and maybe knee high boots if you're taller than me). This could be dressed up or down pretty easily. Since I bought it for everyday I wore it with a black lace bralette for a bit less cleavage. The button doesn't have any trouble closing over my bust despite me being pretty busty. This is a true wrap dress and I love that. No risk of popping or blowing open too much so that's good. The tie has a lot too it so I can wrap it around my waist 3 times for extra security. No fashion faux pas here! I'm barely 5'5 and the back of the dress does drag on the ground slightly when I'm barefoot. A small bootie should fix that. It can be hard to eat so watch your sleeves! Very flowy and pretty! I love a unique outfit or dress since I'm not generally a sweatpants and tee kind of girl day to day. Tops are difficult for me. I'm between a 36D-36DD and my waist is over 9" smaller than my bust. I like a form fitting look for my clothing, and that's difficult to find with such weird measurements. This top isn't overly tight, but it's very flattering anyway. The Belle sleeve is so gorgeous! It's a thick embroidered lace. Very substantial. The red fabric on the rest of the shirt is like a firmer and slightly thick spandex knit. Not thick enough to be hot, but thick enough to give some structure and feel expensive. The color is a gorgeous fall and winter deeper red. I'm 5'5" and it hits right about mid hip. The sleeves aren't too long, and it is a flattering fit and cut. Doesn't show any flaws. I'm firmly between a 10 & a 12 depending on the brand. If a 10 won't work its because it won't fit around the bust only. If a 12 doesn't work, it's because it's very loose everywhere. I'm 160 lbs and the large fit fine. Not too tight or too loose. Love the unique look of this shirt. Very flirty and nice looking. Great for everyday, dates, work, or school. Love this top! Another great buy to add to my wardrobe for the cooler seasons.

Ooh! I was so worried when I was putting it on. I read the reviews about it going up high in the wrong spot and initially that happened. Hard. Then I put the sleeves back down around my shoulders instead of on top of my shoulders and that fixed the problem for me. I'm barely 5'5 and the length was good for me. Barely hit the floor when I was barefoot. Will be the perfect length with shoes. It's a substantial fabric and the lace is very pretty. The lining is silky and comfortable. The outfit can be slightly stiff in the waist when trying to climb or be very active. I'm guessing that's not something commonly done in this outfit, so it's not too big of a deal. For me, this outfit is one of those rare outfits that can go from work to a wedding to a date to just everyday. That's how I will be using it. I'm buying it because I love it that much! I can see how this could go wrong for anyone it doesn't fit perfectly as there's no give at all, but for me it looks great and slimming. I ordered the 10 and it's perfect. I'm between a 36D-36DD, 160 lbs, and firmly between a size 10-12 depending on brand. Often if a size 10 doesn't fit its because it won't zip once the zipper gets to my bust, with a 12 it can commonly be very loose everywhere. So, it's really a toss up for me. Thank goodness for reviews. They are usually helpful and they definitely helped here. The 10 fit perfectly. I have a difference of over 9" between my waist (30.5" at smallest point) and my bust, so the fact that this fit me so perfectly in a 10 with no stretch is amazing! Will add pictures shortly!

I have broad shoulders, between a 36D-36DD bust and a waist that's over 9" smaller than my bust, and straight hips. Im between a size 10-12 depending on the brand. Sometimes a brand wont zip starting at the bust while fitting elsewhere in a 10, and other times its falling off of me in a size 12. Finding clothing can be very hard. This dress is very booby for me. I don't mind it at all though. My husband loves this dress on me! I'm definitely taking advantage of the shirring on the bust, but it's not uncomfortably tight at all, and the shirring and straps are having no issue keeping me contained. The flowyness of the dress feels so pretty. I love this dress for fall, spring, and summer. I'm going to find a long sleeve white shirt to wear on colder days this fall because I'm keeping this one I think. Nice cool fabric that feels like a nice cotton. Thinner mini dress length lining. Criss cross back which I love. Very farm girl sexy! I'm 5'5 and it hits mid shin without shortening me in a weird way. I usually can't wear anything resembling a midi because it cuts me off in a weird way, but this one is very pretty. The color is more of a muted or faded pink rather than the red that shows up on my screen however, so I'm not sure if that's because of my screen or what, but that was something I did notice. Great everyday dress if you're like me and like to wear dresses and jumpsuits most days.

So gorgeous! I love how unique this shirt is as I hate wearing the same 5 outfits in different colors lol. The poof sleeves are very forgiving of bigger shoulders and 30 year old chicken wings. I'm 5'5 and 160 lbs. I've recently lost 20 lbs and have way more to go. I wouldn't be comfortable wearing this on a day I have any bloating as it is actually much shorter in the middle than it appears to me in the product photo. The I'm large up top. Between a 36D-36DD. My waist is 9" smaller than my bust. Finding clothes that are form fitting is difficult unless it's a stretch material, so I love that the tie gives my waist shape and it's still a nice light flannel. It's not too thin or too warm. I don't mind a lot of cleavage personally. My husband loves this shirt and I'm guessing that's why lol. However, for a more modest appearance a lace bralette would be easy to wear with this. Loved this with high Waisted jeans. I wouldn't be comfortable wearing it with anything that wasn't very high Waisted since it is cropped. Hope it goes on sale! I would love to keep it one day. Great for fall and even winter!

I love to dress up every day. I don't want the side eye though so I have to keep it somewhat normal. Button up Oxford type shirts are not my friends. With my bust being between a 36DD-36DDD and my waist being 9" smaller than my bust, it's not a flattering look. Ditto for shirt dresses usually. So, I was a bit apprehensive about this dress, but I love it! The fabric is nice feeling and heavy but not hot. I'm 5'5 and it hits perfectly on my leg. The wind didn't blow it open which can be a fear with a true wrap dress. I feel like it can make me look a bit boxy around the shoulders, but I love the look anyway. This is definitely going to be a fall staple. I'm between a 10-12, but more commonly a 12 (currently losing weight. Nothing major lost yet), and the 42R fit perfectly. Although with a wrap dress you can go up and down a couple of sizes either way and not notice much of a difference. I probably would have preferred a size smaller for a tighter fit in the bust and arms, but it's fine and I love that it's a very forgiving dress when it comes to current problem areas.

I love dressing up. I'm more commonly in a dress than jeans. I wanted some more unique fall dresses that I could wear while not freezing. This dress is a bit thin for really cold weather, but i love it! I'm 36DD-36DDD on top and have a 9" difference between my waist and my bust. Finding clothes that hug my curves is difficult to say the least. Fabric like this does that, but is usually not forgiving. I'm between a size 10-12, but more commonly a 12. The dress fit perfect in a M when I usually wear a L. I probably could have gone with either size though with the way the fabric is. I'm 5'5 and the dress was not too short which I love since I'm officially no longer in my 20s. It's not see through despite the fabric. It's heavy enough to feel really nice. The drape is gorgeous and the flutter of fabric on the side is so unique. This is going to be a staple in my closet. Glad I bought it!

I'm pretty large up top. Between a 36DD and a 36DDD. It was tight, but fit in my larger size while also being too large in the waist. That's common for me since the difference between the two areas is 9". For someone else it probably won't be an issue. I'm between a 10-12, but more commonly a 12. The 10 wouldn't have fit my bust. The cut is pretty with whimsy! It sways and moves beautifully. Not twirling in it will be hard when the weather warms enough to wear it! The fabric is thick, but not excessively heavy. Cute pattern and I love the color.

It was a pricy dress on sale and I couldn't pass it up as I had been looking for a sequin dress for the holiday. It was too large in the waist and made me look a tad less curvy which I don't like because my waist to bust ratio makes being at my current weight bearable. A belt may fix that issue though. It is a beautiful dress despite missing a tiny spot of sequins on the side. I'm 5'5 and only the 12P was available. I couldn't wear heels but it fits with flats. Pretty dress!

I'm normally between a size 10-12 but usually a 12. I ordered the 10 and it was still slightly large in the waist. My waist is very small compared to the rest of my body though, so it's a common issue for me. It may not be for someone else. The 10 fit everywhere else. However, heels wouldn't have fixed the issue of it hitting too low on the leg in the front. I'm ok with it dragging slightly in the back. I actually like that, but where it hits on my leg couldn't be fixed with heels. Unfortunately, I do not think this will be the one for the gala. I may try it with some heels and see how it goes for a fancy family dinner tomorrow though. If you're between sizes I'd go with the smaller of the two. Otherwise, it's probably true to size.

I love the material. It is thick enough so there's no show through as one can sometimes have happen in this material. I'm between a 10-12, but usually a 12 and I'm between a 36DD-36DDD and it was gorgeous on me. I'm in the process of losing weight, so my stomach isn't flat everyday. This dress hid that so well.
