Perfectly Bizzare!

So perfect. A little more muted (just slightly) in color than appeared on browser, but still loved it.

Cozy eye-catcher

I rented this with my Unlimited membership and kept it for FAR longer than anticipated (I think nearly 2mos!!) Received compliments constantly during that entire duration. This coat is cozy, reasonably warm, easy to wear day or night (even with layers), and yet has the perfect POP of approachable couture with the "fur" collar. I loved that many times I didn't even need to wear a scarf or cowl even with the Midwest winter, as the size and weight of the "fur" collar added considerable warmth. The fastener closures were also well-adhered and made getting in-and-out of the cold a snap (no pun intended, but I went for it!) My one criticism is that the boucle (?) fabric of the main portion did start to pill quite a bit sooner than I would have expected. If you're just renting, I don't think you'd notice this, but I would caution someone considering purchasing. I would still consider buying it myself despite this, but it would certainly weigh on my decision.

Beautiful drape, but arrived damaged :(

I've had Unlimited for some time now (cumulatively), so know that this was the first time that I've ever had anything arrive damaged, but this dress had a split-tear at the bottom on the zipper on arrival. I probably could have fixed it with some dress tape, but didn't want to risk it. I have the feeling that the fabric was just a bit tired as this is such a popular dress. Between that, and the fact that the dress comes in far more at the neckline than I anticipated (necessitating a strapless or halter bra, which DO NOT work for this 32FF lady!), I decided not to wear it. That being said, this dress is BEAUTIFUL and lives up to the hype. I so wish I could have worn it!!! It looks a wee bit dressy for your average workday, but could still be pulled-off, yet is fancy enough for a semi-formal event, in my opinion. The drape and fuller skirt hides everything and gives a beautiful silhouette. While fully-lined, the fabric is thin enough that you may still need a slip.

Not good for ladies with chests!

I love Mara Hoffman, and this print is wonderful (though a *bit* more muted tones than many of her other designs.) The dress is quality, but the sizing runs a bit smaller than the four other styles of MH dresses that I've worn in the past, and it was very difficult to get past my hips. If you're a curvy lady like me, this fit probably just won't work for you -- unless you size-up significantly, and then it's a betting game. The kicker for me was the armholes. They're HUGE and come forward quite a bit. I couldn't have even worn a strapless bra with this, and without it I would have been showing a ton of side boob. Pretty dress, just didn't work for my body shape at all!!

THAT PRINT!!! <3

This dress has the most fun, fabulous print I think that I may have ever worn. People were literally stopping me every block to give me compliments. Dressed it up with strappy, black, block-heeled sandals, and belted it one day for a more fitted silhouette. I will say -- I did have a few people ask me about the.... leaf pattern.... if you will.. so you might want to be careful if you're thinking about wearing this around coworkers, etc., least the get the wrong idea perhaps. So comfy, and so, so easy to wear!!! 100% would rent again -- love all the Mara Hoffman prints in this style!

Perfectly tailored, slightly preppy

Wore this for my first day of "school" (I work in academia) and got plenty of compliments. The fabric has a nice weight, and the tailoring was spot-on for my body type. Curvy ladies rejoice! No complaints; would rent again, though the pink is *almost* too preppy for me to wear on a consistent basis, at least.

Bright, playful color & WARMMM!

This pink was way more "POP!" than I expected, but was still very fun and fashionable (I felt!) I wore this on work with a bowl game in SF in late December, and my coworkers kept mentioning that it was super easy to find me in crowds due to the color -- so that's helpful too, perhaps! :) The best thing about this sweater is that it is INCREDIBLY warm!! I am known as the ice queen amongst friends because I'm always freezing, and on "warmer" days during our Indiana winter, I didn't even feel like I needed a coat with this sweater. The one thing that was mildly disappointing to me was that the shaping texture patterns were not nearly as obvious or visible as they appeared to be on the model. Still looked fine, but definitely a different look in my opinion. Did fit a bit large, but I loved the weight and drape of the fabric. Would totally rent again!

I agree -- Cozy AF!

This sweater is IT for winter comfort and coziness -- the perfect hygge sweater, if you ask me!! This thing is so incredibly warm, too! I got a TON of compliments, and it affectionately (not taking into acct recent years events...) became known as the Cosby sweater, as I wore it at least a handful of times over the week and a half that I had it on my Unlimited subscription. Does feel like it might pill without very delicate wear over time, so I'm not sure I would purchase given my use habits, but I would 100% rent again -- and probably will! I was a little worried that given the weight and possible boxiness of the cut that I would look like a giant marshmallow puff with my large chest; but it really fit quite nicely and didn't seem to give me the look of too much extra weight, especially for how thick and warm it was!

Beautiful flowy floral, but thin/awkward bust

This flowing floral dress is to die for in the pattern, but leaves a little too be desired in bust/top construction. I'm a large-busted gal (32FF), and was SUPER nervous about renting this for a spring wedding in Charleston as there were no reviews at the time of my renting. I was pleasantly surprised that the top wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, though. You do need *something* under the top; it's see-through enough that color readily shows, including even the outline of my nude strapless bra. I was able to wear a standard strapless though, which I was pleased with. The front b-day neck cut was just awkward with my large chest combined with my short torso (see addt'l photos.) However!! The dress is otherwise beautiful, comfortable, and fabulous for fun twirling! :) I have long legs and ordered the 10R; that was the first time an R was even remotely long enough, and this length was perfect. Short ladies be warned! I'm going to guess you'll need some hem tape on this one.

Unbeatable print!

Ended-up wearing the 8, even though I'm typically a 10/small 12 in dresses lately. 32FF chest fell out the sides a little bit, but certainly far better than I anticipated. Didn't think I could wear a bra with this, so went without the first night I wore it, but was able to wear my strapless without issue the second. This crop top is surprisingly forgiving if you're not totally a crop top-kinda gal (like me!) Paired with the matching skirt while out to dinner, then with a long, billowy black maxi skirt the next day for a casual lunch. The material is pleasantly dense; was fine for late spring in Charleston, but I'd be a little nervous for summer wear in a humid locale. The print is really just to die for!!! I've rented a lot on here through Unlimited and for formal events, but this is the first outfit I'm *seriously* considering purchasing!

Gorgeous, classy-but-flashy pattern!

Worn for a military ball, got plenty of compliments. The pattern is truly stunning in-person. Bright colors make it a little "flashy," but it's still very classy. The mermaid-esque bottom is surprisingly flattering, as is the ruching. I did have some issues with gaping near the armpits, but it was manageable. I will say that I am very large-chested (32FF with a size 8/10 otherwise...), and this fit surprisingly well!!! So, large-busted ladies rejoice! But if you're particularly small-busted for your size, you may need to have some filler... Additionally, I'm quite tall, and the 10-Long was basically the perfect length (if anything, perhaps a teeeeensy bit short.) This dress really does come down to the wonderful pattern! Fellow floral lovers rejoice. :)

Easy-peasey, Quirky Dress

I rented this dress for everyday workwear on my Unlimited Subscription. The weight of the dress felt fantastic, and surprisingly hid more flaws that I thought it would. I have an hourglass shape, and this cut didn't do much for it; but, it also didn't make me look quite as wide or chest-heavy as I had anticipated that it would. Lots of compliments on the colors/design. It is still quite bright in-person, but note that due to the knitted material, the black looks a little duller since the underside threads show-through some. My favorite part? The cute, and super awesomely-practical pink ribbon on the zipper pull!!! Perfect for ladies who live alone like me, or for those that have shoulder or upper extremity limitations. OVERALL -- Nice weight/quality, color a little lacking-up close. Nice and comfy, and every easy though!!

WOWZA! Incredibly comfortable, classy, and conservatively-sexy!!

OVERALL: Would buy this in a heartbeat! Slimming, sexy, classy, and comfy!! I cannot give enough hearts and positive ratings for this dress. I am ordering the same in red for a graduation in two weeks. Would 100% buy this if money was not an object. The fabric does amazing wonders and hides all possible imperfections. I wore this to the opera, and my date was teased constantly the next day for bringing "a dime" to the event. :P The length is great for work-related occasions, while still showing off your assets. As a large-chested woman, I loved that this completely covered me, but still showed-off what I've got in all the right ways! The boatneck cut is also great for this fact. Seriously, I don't even feel I can give a decent review because all I can say is -- YES!!!!

Gorgeous material, large hips beware!

OVERALL: Material is BEAUTIFUL, very shimmery -- beware if you have large hips! This dress was SO much more gorgeous in-person than online. The fabric is total shimmer and luxurious-looking, though perhaps a bit scratchy. I've adored all the Thea rentals I've had in the past, so had high hopes for this one as well. The craftsmanship doesn't disappoint, and the dress is well-made and finished. Unfortunately, this fit just did not work for me. The waist is fairly tight and tailored, and the hips are a bit narrower. When you add on the bulky pocket seamings, it just made my hips look huge. I think without the pockets, I probably would have been fine. I would say the fit is just ever-slightly small, but not too far off. Just proceed with caution if you're hippy!!

Cute, casual, HIGH "slit"!!

OVERALL: Silky & comfy, but revealing/fly-away slit!! I was hoping this would be a bit dressy, but was overall quite casual. The fabric is the silkiest, smoothest though, and it is overall incredibly comfortable!! If you're bigger-chested, as I am (32FF), I would recommend this dress cautiously -- or just invest in some double-sided tape for between the buttons as I did (worked fine with no issues. The fabric makes this super easy and workable.) You can dress it up a bit for a date, but I wouldn't recommend for anything above casual+, personally. The biggest potential issue with this dress is the slit. I read the prior reviews, but since I was ordering on Unlimited, I figured I'd give it a try anyway. Wearing it around my house at first, I was thinking to myself, 'I have no idea what they're talking about! This is the perfect amount of sexy peekaboo without giving away too much!!!' Seriously sexy, especially if you have long legs like me and can't wear anything too high normally. HOWEVER..... then I walked outside on a mildly windy day (not even bad), and...... OH. MY. LAWDDD. I had to hold it down all night. It would have legitimately revealed my panties on at least a few occasions had I not. The problem is that the fabric crosses all the way from the waistband down -- there are no stay-stitches or seams beyond the waistband. If I had thought it was a problem before leaving the house for the evening, I probably could have double-sided taped it just like I did the button-issue. It would be perfect if they had just put a stay-stitch or two further down!!

"Princess" gown: full skirt and nicely-weighted material

I received this as a last-minute back-up dress when it was discovered my ordered dress was going to be unavailable. I will say that -- overall -- the stylist did a fantastic job picking a similar dress from what was available. However, the crucial, specific elements of the other dress that were the reason I picked it, were not included/reflected in this one, and the overall effect was therefore not quite achieved -- no fault of the stylist. This dress, aside, is very beautiful. The fabric is dense and wonderful without feeling too heavy. The color complimented my medium olive skin tone beautifully, and appears fairly-to-moderately darker than the photos let-on. The skirt is full, easily hides hips without creating additional width, and looks beautiful when walking. The bodice is nicely fitted with a built-in bra. Even being very full-busted (32FF), I think I probably could have gotten away without an additional bra if the fit were correct. Unfortunately, the dress I originally ordered ran SUPER small, so this back-up dress was sent in that size -- a 12L -- when I typically wear a 6 or 8L. Therefore, I can't really comment too much on sizing, but to my best guesstimate, this dress ran true-to-size. My mother (personal stylist via FaceTime :D) felt that the dress looked maybe a bit bridesmaid'y or mildly matronly, but overall it seemed to just have a conservative, formal air. While this is a dress I don't think I would have selected on my own, I perhaps would have even worn it had the sizing element not been an issue. OVERALL -- High quality gown with classic, subtle air

Beautiful Statement Piece (while minimizing gaudy/chintziness)

I was worried that this necklace would be too much, but it was exactly what my strapless, otherwise fairly plain but classic dress needed!! I also had concern from other reviewers that it *may* look cheap or somewhat gaudy. I will say that the crystals are fairly-to-moderately "cheap sparkly" when carefully scrutinized individually; HOWEVER, the way that light seemed to hit them in conjunction with the muted gold tones made this basically indiscernible during normal wear. I thought that I may not end-up with the opportunity to wear this to my formal event, so I also wore it to work that Friday with a plain business casual dress to many complaints. Very versatile. My last concern (before renting) was with the length. This is a longer drape, and the V-shape of the drape is pretty sharp/deep. However, as a short torso'ed but full-busted lady, I still felt that this sat very well. It was **just** above being too sharp. I would be cautious if your outfit has a lace top. This necklace could easily get caught regularly. OVERALL: Highly recommended -- beautiful and versatile.

Thin but VERY soft; odd fit for short-torsos

Thinner than anticipated, drape was less than desirable. Blush color was light and beautiful, however, and OHHH the softness!!! This coat had a very odd fit for me. I am fairly short-torso'ed while having longer legs. That being said, I don't typically have large issues with fit unless something has a ton of bodice darts or pleats. Somehow, this jacket just wasn't working. I think it perhaps was too loosely-fitted through both the bodice and the shoulders to give my hourglass the needed minimum shaping. Also, maybe if the drape had more weight, the coat would have fallen better without more shaping?? .... Who knows! It looked okay open, but wanted to try and get a turnaround on another Unlimited item, so returned without wearing. OVERALL -- Disappointed in fit/tailoring, fabric soft, delicate color

Odd fit for hourglass

This dress could have looked beautiful...... I think! The fabric was not as dense or weighty as I would have hoped-for, quality-wise, but not poor either. The color was a bit brighter than I anticipated, but still very pretty. I REALLY wanted to love this dress!!! But, Unfortunately, it just DID NOT fit my shape well at all. I am a fuller-busted hourglass (while still maintaining an overall slimmer profile), and while I typically get "Tall"s due to my leg length, I have a relatively short torso. The front hip seamline and torso darts just didn't work for me, enough so that I wouldn't even wear this to work (and that's saying a lot for me!!) I couldn't have asked for more in this dress. Absolutely no complaints!

Loved the sparkle, shimmer. Lace was great and sturdy -- no snags or rips. I didn't get the belt that some described, but was not personally upset by this. The train was perfect, and the length was great for my super long legs. As a 32FF, I can't remember the last time that I didn't have to wear a bra with even formal dresses, until this dress!! What a relief, and so much more comfortable than a nasty strapless bra that inevitably won't stay up (hello... 32FF.) I wore this to a Military Ball as a contract employee, and actually ended-up in the same exact dress -- from RTR -- as the commanding LTC's wife. Luckily, we both loved the dress so damn much (and she is such a sweetheart) it wasn't at all a bad thing!!
