I received so many compliments in this gown!!! A little snug around the arm with sleeve but very comfortable 

Like other reviewers said the fit through the waist and hips is tight. The zipper is very small and fabric seemed to get easily caught in it. It took me several tries to get it zipped up. Once on though, it was gorgeous. The seam in the hip  made sitting down a little difficult but I just hiked it up a bit to sit and pulled it back down when I stood up.  I normally wear a 4 or small in dresses. I followed other's advice and sized up to a 6. I could have probably even done an 8. 

I rented this 2L despite being a 2P because it was what was left. I'm consistently a 2 to 4 in gowns from RTR, and I could not even pull this past my thighs or put on over my head. Furthermore, the dress seems to have been altered to be a high low dress. The hem is warped and the lining extends beyond the hem. 

Luckily, I rented the next closest size available (6P). A 4P would have been perfect, but the 6P fits fine and is the perfect length for my 5'2" frame. It's so beautiful and comfortable.

It fit great, felt perfect and everyone loved it! I was in the dress for a full day of events and walked the London streets! 

I am 5'0 and I was not sure about the length but once I tried it and added heels - perfect! 

I recommend this dress for anyone!!!

I loved the fit of this dress. Very slimming and comfortable. I generally wear an 8-10R in dress size, but decided to go a size up based on reviews. It was a bit loose, but nothing that a little extra bra padding couldn't fix. The zipper is suuuper tricky. Despite the dress being overall a bit loose on me, the zipper was really difficult to get up and snagged often. It took some definite effort. Great dress overall ! 

I'm 5'8", 135 lbs, usually between a 4 and 6. Went with the 6 as there's very little give in the fabric. Dress photographs so well with the colors!

Got lots of compliments! I thought the floral print reminded me of a painting. Wore to a dinner party at a kids "CARS" themed event. (That's why the random background!) overall maybe not the best for my body type- it was very large at the top and super tight on my hips. Thankfully the floral print disguised what at first felt like a dress I could not sit down in. Despite that I pinned the top, and adjusted to move and got used to it the for evening and ate plenty during the meal without discomfort :). It's so delightful as a 6' tall woman to find a dress long enough to wear with 2.5" heels. At this point being 6" or 6'2" doesn't really matter much. I feel so much more feminine in heels with a gown. It's rare that I can do so, but with this dress I could! The floral print was so fun! 

Eight long was perfect. I am 5 foot 7 and wore 4 inch heels. If you are taller than 5 foot 6 I would not rent the regular. It barely came to my ankle in bare feet.  The zipper was difficult and there is no give in the bodice of the dress but once the zipper finally went up, with a little wiggle, it was great, not too tight.  

A formal that comes in a petite?!?  Yessss!!!  Thank you!!  I loved this dress. It fit perfectly in every way. I was excited to see a celebrity in it the following weekend on a red carpet event. Loved it. 

The 4R was snug through the hips and bust area.  I made it work but would have preferred the 6R ( but was unavailable). It has no stretch so the right size is important.  I'm between 4&6 usually and if you are between a size or have hourglass figure, I suggest going a size up.

Wore this for an Alice in Wonderland themed NYE gala. Loved this dress! It was so fun to wear and walk around in with the little bit of the train. I'm short and was worried it would be too long so also ordered a petite size, but the regular was fine with heels. Did drag a little (expected with the mini train) and it got stepped on a few times, but wasn't a big deal. Didn't need to pull it up or adjust it throughout the night. Fully lined and didn't need to wear a bra. Because others mentioned it can be tight on curvy areas, went up a size as recommended and that worked out great.  Lots of compliments throughout the evening, felt great, and was sad to send it back. 

Wore this for a French themed gala and was extremely comfortable and versatile 

If you are taller than 5’6” and wearing heels you may want to go with the long. It was shorter on me thN ideal.

I LOVE THIS DRESS!!!!! I got so many compliments on it, I felt like a celebrity! It was comfortable, classy and fabulous! I wore the 8L and it fit perfectly everywhere. I wore 2.5 inch heels with it and it hit just where I was hoping it would. I didn't have to wear a bra and I felt comfortable and supported in the dress. First time using RTR and it was such a great experience! I would totally rent this exact dress again! 

I originally ordered a 4L and 6R, but they just didn't fit right. I have a large chest and curvy behind. So RTR sent me an 8R ASAP. It was a little big in certain places but no one could tell except for me. All night long I was told I had the best dress at the awards. It really is a gorgeous dress.

The pattern is gorgeous and the one shoulder is great for dancing. Unfortunately I received a different style than the picture. The dress I was sent had the same fabric but flared at the waist and had a hi-lo skirt. I still wore it but would have preferred the dress pictured. 

Beautiful, stand out gown. Perfect for the art themed gala I attended. The fit was perfect and the material is stiff (no give) and hard to zip. Definitely size up. It was gorgeous and I got compliments all night. I would rent this dress again.

This dress was stunning. I received compliments ALL night long. This was for a black tie event but I wanted something different and colorful. This was perfect. 
I wore the 6 because the top is a little snug and there is no stretch. The zipper is a little tricky where the folds in the fabric are and there's no top hook so you may need a pair of extra hands to help. 
It really is stunning in person.  

This dress was amazing, I wish I could have it forever!!! If was a bit big in the hip area, however the pattern made it very unnoticeable.  Great fun dress!

This gown is stunning, the print is like a Monet painting, and the gown fits true to size. The 10L fit me like a glove: for reference, I am 5'8", 155 lbs, and 36C.  I ended up wearing a different dress for my black tie gala because there would be a 3-course dinner (e.g. this dress has zero stretch) and there would be dancing (e.g. the train of this dress would get in the way). But I am looking for the right occasion to wear this stunner of a dress!  (The only minor negative of this dress is that the hem is not finished; it is simply overlocked, but not turned over and hemmed; my guess is that it is intended to be hemmed to the owner's specific length when purchased; not really noticeable unless you really look at the hem).

The dress did run small, usually wear a size 8 but had to wear the size 10.  I am a tall person, so the Long was perfect.  The dress is very comfortable and I received so many compliments!

This dress is spectacular and will definitely make a statement. The colors are very vivid. The fabric has no give but i wore my regular size although it was a bit tight in the bust area. The long lenght was perfect for me with a small heel

This was a backup dress after my first choice was too short. I didn't have many options 2 days before the event but really am happy with this one and liked it more than my first choice. Overall fit was exactly how I thought. I am 5'4" and had to wear 4" heals w/ the long. The length was right at the ground. I wore this to a winter charity gala. I was worried it would look too summery but it was perfect and the colors looked great.

The pattern is busy for a full figured person. Not flattering pattern, but a flattering cut. 

I rented this dress for the Mayor's Ball in Atlanta and it worked out perfectly. I rented a 2L and it was true to size. I did not realize that the dress had a train until I began to walk. I found myself lifting it up a couple of time, but that was not a problem at all. The dress was very comfortable and easy to move around in. I highly recommend it! Thanks RTR!

This dress was a perfect fit for me and extremely comfortable.  It was fitted but not too tight in any area, yet wasn't too loose where it needed to be adjusted throughout the night.  If the 2 had been available, I would have probably chosen that as a backup size but I think it would have been too tight, especially in my midsection.  It was a perfect length with 3 inch heels as it reached the floor but did not make me trip.  It is a very unique dress and I received many compliments.

I'm 5'3" 160lbs and 34DDD and the 12R fit like a glove. The only part that was slightly large was the bust which I was surprised about. I did end up wearing a convertible bra with it. It has the bras strap older on the strap side so no need to worry about your strap slipping down your shoulder. The length was perfect on me with 2 inch heels. I rented the 12R and the 14R was my backup. The 14R also fit but was much looser and MUCH longer, so if you are looking for a more comfortable fit, size up as the material has no stretch. The colors were beautiful and I got several compliments at the gala we attended. 

I rented the 2 & the 4, since I usually wear between these sizes. I ended up wearing the 2, and had to zip up with care. Both sizes were tight on my hips (guess I had more here than I thought!), but the 4 had a lot of extra width in the waist and bust. The dress was long; I wore short heels (1-2"), and I'm 5'5". Thus I had to be careful when walking and a couple of times I noticed people standing on the hem. 

The 10 wouldn't zip up around my rib cage (which I normally wear in dresses), the 12 was too big up top. I just pinned it and it was great! Absolutely gorgeous dress!!

The print of this dress was vibrant and beautiful.  The cut is really odd - I had to size up and even with a size up the hips were cut extremely narrow with no give in the fabric so it made the stomach area of the dress look wider than usual.  I received a lot of compliments but wasn't comfortable in the dress.  For the price of the rental I don't think it justifies the fit.

Pros: Vibrant colors, a beautiful cut, lots of compliments all night long. In a sea of black dresses, it was fun to be wearing a romantic floral print.

Cons: The dress is super snug. Be prepared to either size up or get your Spanx on! 

Other notes: RTR customer service (as always) was wonderful. This was not the dress I originally selected but was, instead, a replacement for my top choice that became unavailable at the last moment. I really appreciate all of the communication from the RTR team.

Finally, please note that this dress STUNK. I was taken aback upon opening the bag by the smell. Can RTR do anything about dress odor? 

Such a fun and beautiful dress! Nice heavy material that wasn't too hot but felt rich. Vibrant colors. 
I'm 5'3" and wore 3 inch heels and the length was perfect. Little train in the back that I held up outside. If you're a true pear like me then size up because there is no stretch. I really needed a 10 for my hips but the top part would've been way too big. I was able to squeeze into an 8 and even then the top was just a tad big. It was a little uncomfortable to sit in, but manageable. 

This was actually my backup dress.  My original dress pick did not have my backup size so they sent the original dress in a size 12R, plus two of my backup dress choice in a size 10R and 12R.  I actually loved the colors and design more and the size 12R fit perfectly.  Although the zipper was a bit of a pain.
I tied a japanese obi belt, added my fan headdress, accessories and makeup and attended the wonderful annual Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball in Los Angeles at the Millinium Biltmore Hotel.
The colors on the dress were beautiful and it was very well made and lined.  The skirt was a bit long that I kind of stepped on it a bit but I just picked them i[ and it gave it a great flare effect.  Everyone that attended loved the dress as well.  I wish I could keep it!

I absolutely loved wearing this dress. The colors and patter are stunning, and the fit was perfect for someone who is just a little curvy. I am only 5'3", so it was a tad long, even with heels. But, it fit beautifully, and was so fun to wear. 

It was hard to zip up past the folded material portion but once it zipped, there was slight excess in loose material by my chest. The 4 fit perfectly, almost too tight, especially around my armpit. I'm glad I wore the 6R because when I sat down to eat, I wasn't dying for air. Even with heels the dress was long because you have a train, and I've had a few people including myself step on it. I loved the dress, my boyfriend loved the dress, and I'd purchase it if I could. It's extremely comfortable, doesn't scratch, and isn't heavy. Perfect summer formal.
