Bizarre sizing for curvy girls
I ended up renting these in both sizes M and L. I am pear shaped, size 10. Definitely bottom heavy. The large size was ENORMOUS. Like, only stayed up because of my butt. But the thighs and the waist of the pants were comically large. I really liked the look of them in photos, so I wasted yet another unlimited spot on them in a medium. These were so tight I barely got them over my thighs. I do not understand. Anyway, if you're bottom heavy, good luck with these. I'm just bummed I wasted my rental on these strange fitting pants.

Loved the sparkle on this dress and it went well with the theme. The waist on the dress hit my 5'2" frame in an odd place, and was a bit big as others mentioned. Overall I loved it though!

Beach wedding in Mexico!
Loved the flow of this dress for my friend's beach wedding in Mexico. By the time I rented they only had the 10 petite or the 6 regular, and really the 8 petite would have been perfect. The 10 was far too big on top but I definitely struggled tripping on the length of the skirt with the regular length even though I was in 4 inch heels.

Loved this dress and it fit perfectly for my pear shape. It was a little long so I had to pay attention not to trip but otherwise great rental and I can't believe I don't have a single photo in it!

So glamorous!
This dress is simply amazing and I felt amazing in it. If you're pear shaped definitely size down - I am normally a 10 and wore the 6 and quite honestly still has some room in the chest. As everyone else pointed out, the straps are really long and therefore really annoying. My friend stitched them to make them temporarily shorter to avoid a surefire wardrobe malfunction. The color of the skirt is so much better in person and I got so many compliments. Overall great dress!

I didn't end up wearing this because I was too big in the waist (clearly not very in the hips). It's such a fun dress though and I may rent again for a different event. I loved that the cutouts were just barely noticeable but added that extra oomph to the dress.

Loved this, but wasn't right for my event
As someone who is smaller on top, bigger (in every way) on the bottom, this dress fit like a dream. I didn't end up wearing it, but I will probably rent it for a beach wedding I have later in the year. It's so flowy and romantic! It is definitely brighter than in the photo though - pink as opposed to red.

Loved this dress... In theory
I had previously rented this dress in the smaller size and felt it was just a wee bit too tight, so I thought, "get the 12 it will be perfect!" Wrong. You could see (in person) from the outside the dress looked like it had room. The lining however, had other ideas. It kept riding up as I walked making it a very annoying thing to deal with all night. Maybe my hips / butt / legs are just too big, but I just wasn't happy. Hence this being my only photo of the night! So pretty so I wish I liked it more!

The back is so unexpected!
I loved this dress overall, but it was definitely a challenge. The 8 fit better on the bottom, but the top was HUGE. Even on the 6, the top was still a bit looser than I would have liked. You have to wear a sticky, backless bra, which may not work for everyone. The back adds such an extra bit of sexiness though - I felt super sassy all night!

I rented the medium for a wedding. People mentioned that it ran small but I had no idea just how small! I couldn't even get it past my shoulders, or my hips for that matter. The color and the fabric is beautiful but definitely size up. Way up.

My back up size became unavailable and RTR didn't tell me! That was unfortunate, but they completely refunded my money for the order so of course I'll be coming back! The dress was gorgeous, but I should have ordered the medium. It fit fine, but would have been more flattering if it were a bit tighter. The v is not as deep as you think either.

I only had a couple issues with this dress - it ran a bit big in the top so I had to wear a bra, which you could clearly see. I tried 3 different ones and you could see them all! The cutouts are in just the right places to flatter a pear shape, and I got tons of compliments all night!

It was so sparkly which should have made it fun, but with all the glitter and the extra long length, it felt a little too old for my Vegas vacation. I loved that it came with a back up size - definitely needed it for this dress and it's just nice to have that option.
I rented this for a friend's wedding. I got tons of compliments all night and felt great in it. I originally rented the 10, but it was HUGE. Make sure to go a size down - even if you are a little curvier in the hips like me. The only down side was the back was a little short - the dress is cut strangely and if you don't pull the fabric down correctly you'll show a little more than desired! Now that I know all this though, I would definitely rent it again!
