Classic article of clothing!
I ordered this to go over my wedding dress since we got married outdoors in December at an overlook on a mountain (I know, we're crazy). I had hints of golds and beiges in my dress and I knew this shaw would pull all of it together. It was very comfortable and warm (even 3000 ft above sea level in 20 degree weather with snow), and in my opinion, it just stole the show. I felt so "classic" in it. It was shipped in an amazing garment bag with a lock so you knew it wasn't tampered with. It had been freshly dry cleaned and smelled really well. After usage, you put it back in the same garment bag and they sent you an extra lock to secure the zippers and you send it back. I'm so glad I invested in this piece. It wasn't something that I actually wanted to buy, as $200 was a splurge to even rent it after buying my dress, but it was SOOO worth it. You won't regret it, either!

Backup dress
I rented this as a back up dress because they didn't have a back up size in the original dress I ordered. I ended up not wearing this, but it was a fun and amazing dress. It did seem to run a little small. I usually wear a 12 in dresses and a 14 in jeans, and I couldn't even zip the 12 up. However, the 14 seemed a bit loose at the top, which is one reason I ended up wearing the original dress I ordered. There's A LOT of heavy material at the bottom of the dress, so if you're carrying extra weight in your hips, beware. The patter and colors were fun and I just wished it had fit better!

Beautiful earrings
These earrings were beautiful. I would have given them 5 stars, however one of my earrings was being rather difficult and would hang oddly. They're made in a tiered fashion, and the bottom jewels kept twisting backwards. It was really noticeable and the earrings really complimented my outfit.

Getting compliments on the dress!
When I first put on this dress, I wasn't crazy about it. I'm pear shaped, and it seemed unflattering on my bottom half with all the extra material and big pockets. However, after I got ready and put it back on, it grew on me. The top of the dress does separate you from all the other black dresses in the room because of the sequin detail. Also, the sequins were comfortable to wear and didn't rub any places on my arms. The material is heavy and the dress is well made, but again, if you have some extra weight in your hips this might add to the illusion that you're even more pear shaped than you really are. While I really liked this dress, it wasn't my favorite RTR rental because of the fit.

A nice pop of color.
This dress was stunning. It was perfect for the spring wedding I attended. It was well-made, with beautiful lace at the top and the nice piping of coral/orange fabric circled all around the dress. The different textures just added to the appeal. The lace is darker than pictured, more of a taupe/mauve than a cream/white. It was very comfortable, but not very form fitting or as flattering as the other dresses I've rent on the site. However, paired with my nude heels it was perfect for my event. Oh, and another bonus was my back up and original dress both had the tags on them when they arrived, so I wore a brand new dress. I'm pear shaped and normally wear a 12 in jeans but the 10 fit perfectly. Thanks Rent the Runway. I just keep coming back for more.

Drusy quartz!
It's hard to tell from the picture (however, it's mentioned in the description of these earrings), but the drusy quartz on these drop earrings is stunning. I wore it with a beautiful orange dress I rented for a wedding and it wrapped the look together. I wanted to keep them!

Beautiful color dress!
I loved this dress. All night long I felt like twirling around in a blur of tulle. OH THE TULLE. It's amazing and horrible all at the same time. When I first received the dress, the tulle was so wrinkled that I spent 30 minutes steaming it flat. If you don't have a way to do this, I wouldn't recommend getting this dress because it's almost impossible for it not to be wrinkled when it arrives. After I streamed all the layers flat, it's laid so well and stayed that way the whole night. I got lots do compliments. It's great for pear shaped girls like me because it shows off your waist and then flares a bit at the hips with no constriction. The lace and color were beautiful. My friend wore the black tulle dress on this site and loved it as well. We had fun in our RTR dresses.

Stood out in a sea of black dresses.
First, I must say that my rent the runway experience was amazing. I was back and forth about what sizes I should order in this dress because I'm a true pear shape (I have hips that never end). I'm always fitting into dresses around the waist and then everything kinda gets stuck around my thighs. After speaking with a representative, she helped me decide on my two sizes, 10 & 12. I normally wear a 12-14, depending on the style, but I actually ended up wearing a 10 in this dress. It's SO flattering. The top in the 10 fit me perfectly, and the bottom of the dress had just enough give to fit my hips comfortably. The 12 fit good as well, but it seemed a little loose in the bust so I stuck with the 10. It is fairly roomy in the bust. Even though this dress was somewhat heavy and well made, it had some stretch to it, which was a plus when you have hips like me. The ONLY complaint I have was about 3 hours into wearing the dress, the sequins started digging into my underarms. It wasn't too big of a problem, as I just readjusted the dress. But I could see where wearing this for an all day event might be slightly offsetting. Other than that, this dress was a hit. My boyfriend loved it, EVERYONE loved it. And in a sea of black dresses that night, it was definitely a breath of fresh air. I recommend this site to anyone needing to look snazzy and feel sexy for a night. I'll be using you guys again.
