I recommend this dress. I think it fits very flattering on a slightly bigger stomach and its shorter which helps show off the legs. Modest up top with the high neck.

I really wanted to wear this dress as I LOVED the style and cut and color for a party. I originally rented the 4 and had to upsize to the 6 to feel more comfortable. This dress was well made and definitely looked fancy. Pros: It photographed well, had lining under the silk, was the proper length on my legs, and had unique sleeves. Con: the low v-cut was too low. Luckily the renter before me had a safety pin that was still there holding the neckline to a reasonable level. The dress has a tie strap that you can add a bow in the front or the back, so this feature also helps hug your upper waist line area. I'd rent this again and got 3 events out of it but have looked skinnier in other dresses.

Great dress! I wore 2 inch heels and I'm 5'2 and the dress length was perfect. The dress as a whole doesn't have a ton of stretch and the 2 was too tight on me (it was my backup). I'm super excited about renting the 4 for another wedding this summer. The racer back allowed you to show of your shoulders, the left side has a 2-3 in slit you can't see in the photos, and the right side flowly detail is super cute. Pros: Great dress, looked awesome, arrived in good quality and me well fit well, even the length! I did not have any rubbing or chafing issues with the sequins. It also had some slight stretch to it! Cons: Due to the sequins you need to be sure to suck in or have spanx on. When you have any rolls or bumps the shadowing /reflection of the sequins can enhance these issues (see picture). The dress is also pretty heavy. Lastly, I did look very flat in the dress and would recommend a bra to those with smaller chests. Overall: I did not wear a bra but it would have been possible to wear one if you had a strapless or racer back. I wore black shoes but didn't find them ideal. Pros: I use it all the time for not only RTR but my other personal dresses. It is perfect for deep cut tops/dresses, bra strap securing, hiding the backs of bra's below a dress, keep slip lines hidden, etc. Basically it is a strong version of double stick tape that is designed for fabric and skin. I constantly am using it for formal affairs to keep bra's hidden and low cut dresses from gaping open along my chest. Pros: Able to wear a normal bar! The length was PERFECT with 3.5/4 inch heels for my 5'2 self. Overall great! My mom loved it on me! Cons: Despite being a stretchy fabric the dress did give me a 'boxy' look in the center and did not form fit my sides. The sequins caused some itchy/ irritation under the arms, deep V in the front not super flattering for small chested girls (I wore a padded bra). Due to being flat chested I also had to use fashion tape along the deep V to keep from dress opening up- don't think it would be an issue if I had a biggest chest? The black slit is in the middle of the dress and came up to right above me knee so long spanx were not an option unless I pinned slit. Pros: The dress was so pretty and elegant! Fabric was great, the back sexy but classy. The back gold detail is actually a 'show through'- so back bra straps would be seen. No need for necklace, as the neck is high. Hugs your hips and does have a flattering fit. Butt is emphasized and looks great in the dress! Cons: I wore 4 inch heels and I am 5'1 almost 5'2 and both the 2 and 4 were TOO long. If I had tried the dress on earlier I could have had more time to use tape to hem it up but I was running late. Try it on EARLY and use the tape hem to make it fit perfect for your night out! I was still tripping in the 2. I had to wear the size 2 even though it was very tight in the stomach (too tight to wear spanx without lines showing) and wish thought ahead and wore / hemmed the 4 to truly enjoy the night. The show through low back also preventing me from wearing spanx, as they come up past the gold back. Bottom line: Love the dress! 4 was still flattering and had room to breath, just runs super long and I should of worn that. Back is sexy, be sure to have sticky bra/ petals and no show underwear as the dress hugs your hips/ butt. Overall, great dress! I had very few complaints and it worked wonderfully for my black tie wedding. Cons: #1- The thinner strap in the picture was a little longer than my shoulders- so in order to have that fabric pulled tight I had to pull down that side of the dress, thus revealing a little more boob area than i wanted. We ended up just pulling and twisting dress from the back and simply rolling up some of the extra fabric in the front to cover the base of this strap. #2- you can't wear a bra with it- you need to wear some sort of band-aid style coverage or maybe sticky boobs. This wasn't a problem for me, as I had expected this but its a good thing to note. Pros: Fabric, fit, and length, all great! The fabric was stretchy and allowed for easier on and off plus it stretched with you when you ate or drank. I DID wear spanx and recommend wearing them as it doesn't particularly hide any stomach area issues well. Length was perfect; with my 3inch heels the fabric barely grazed the ground but was still easy to walk and dance in! Overall a great dress- I loved it and it held up well the entire night. The dress isn't incredibly attention grabbing, you will blend in perfectly with a formal party affair and have extra ability to be different with hair or jewelry.

I am only 5'1 and wearing 3inch heels the 38R was a little short plus the hem line was just weird. You can kinda see in the picture, but this dress doesn't have a straight (i.e. normal) hem, its more of a bubble hem? Where the fabric bubbles over without a straight line. When the dress isn't touching the ground- it is very obvious and basically looks like someone tried to pin it up with safety pins. That was the major negative and due to this, and the other dress looking better, I did not wear it. If I had worn it I would have gone with shorter heels to have the dress drag and avoid showing hem. The fabric was great, not too sheer with lots of stretch. The color was also a little better in person, a little big less 'washed out' looking than in the picture. The bunching on the stomach also helped hide stomach fat well. Overall an ok dress as long as the hem is touching the ground.

This dress was perfect for the spring wedding I went to! I got tons of compliments on the color and pattern and couldn't have been more happy. I considered just keeping the dress I loved it so much! Rented the size 2 and 4 and never even tried on the 4. I should have rented the 0 and 2. Fit: I wore 3-4 inch heels and felt like the size 2 dress might be a little short in the back but my friends said it was totally fine and just to be careful if I bent over. The fabric was not stretchy but the dress was cut beautifully to hug/ taper in the waist area. For my size, I had some breathing room in the front due to my small chest/ smaller body and could have maybe worn the 0. The fabric was thick enough that you could wear any color bra but still cool enough that there wouldn't be sweating. I think even if someone did sweat- that the pattern would help cover any marks. Bottom Line: I highly recommend this dress to anyone with a similar body/ size of mine! I am not sure how good the dress would look on someone with a bigger stomach area but I love the dress enough to still recommend trying it!

Dress: Great fabric that was stretchy and not sheer at all. The once shoulder allowed me to not worry about the dress falling, while still showing back. It was a great dress to dance in, with the only issue being that it runs a little long so you have to pay attention to holding up the dress on stairs. Jewel detail wasn't my favorite (not really my style) but it was completely fine. Due to the slivering in the jewel color I had to avoid my typical gold jewelry which was slightly annoying. The dress highlights arms/shoulder, upper back, and flatters the stomach- especially if you have a big chest! Doesn't do much for the backside- so if you want to flaunt that- consider another choice!
