Not THE most flattering thing I've rented, but it is such a great choice if you have any hot-weather, casual events. It's stretchy, but it loses the stretch really quickly and becomes baggy/shapeless. I wish I had sized down. It's very lightweight material so it breathes well, and the shoulder straps are adjustable. For a shorter girl (like me, 5'4") it doesn't hit at a very flattering spot on the calf, and even with wedges I felt a bit square-shaped, but on someone a little taller it would be perfect.

I rented this sweater for a week in Paris in November--it was the perfect layer for just about any outfit. The ribbing, the v-neck, and the slight high-low hemline with slits add enough fashion for it to be cute, and the material is soft and warm. There is stretch in this sweater, but it does stretch out with wear, so order a size down and prepare for a little bit of elbow-bagging with a couple of uses.

I rented this coat for a trip to Paris--wanted to try out the oversized trend and it ended up being even better than I expected! This coat is not practical--the pockets aren't real, which is annoying and I kept reaching for the flaps to try to drop my phone in--there's only one button which means you're either buttoned or not, no in between look--and the oversized factor means it's not actually super warm because air can reach up inside the coat. The single button also contributes to it not being very warm. I would have been interested to see what a smaller size might have done in terms of warmth. Despite all of those minor annoyances, the coat just looks amazing. I loved turning up the collar around my scarf to shield my neck from the wind, and the felted wool is quite rain-repelling. So if you're going for pure style, rent it. If you want style + warmth + pockets, this is probably not your coat.

I wore this dress for a May wedding (outdoors, garden, overcast) and it was a perfect choice. I don't usually choose black for a wedding, but the florals were bright enough for it to feel celebratory, and since it was outdoors (and in Maine) I knew I would be adding a layer to stay warm. I would say that the colors are much more muted in person than in the website photos. The dress has no stretch, but it is very flattering when you get the right size. I was thinking I would need a strapless bra, but the top was tight enough that I could go without and my boobs stayed in place. It is definitely a floor-skimmer, even with 4.5 heels (I'm 5'4"). This was actually really pretty and fun, no tripping hazards (mostly bc of the painful heels). There is a lot of body in the skirt so it would be great for a twirl, if that's your thing. Great dress!

This was the backup style sent by RTR when my initial pick wasn't available that weekend. I was pleasantly surprised--it's a lovely style. I agree with all other reviewers regarding t-rex arms/no stretch across arms and chest... but I found if I kept good posture I could avoid the wrinkles across the chest fabric from being stretched too tight. It's definitely a unique dress, perfect for the ever-weird summer wedding combo of a formal church ceremony followed by a much less formal outdoor reception. I liked it, but I would probably only rent again when I've lost 10 pounds and could wear it a little more comfortably.

I was so ready to love this dress--I love shift dresses, and I loved the pattern of this dress. But no matter how small the size, this dress has no shape to it and hangs in a very unflattering way. I rented this veil to shoot some sultry photos pre-wedding as a Christmas gift to my groom--it was perfect. Only barrier we had to overcome was the comb used to actually wear the veil--I have thick, straight, smooth hair, so we just had to balance the comb in my hair and take the photo while I didn't move (because otherwise the veil wasn't going to stay on my head). Obviously this veil would work way better with an updo, but just in case you're thinking of using it with your hair down (as in the model photo), you'll probably need some bobby pins and hair spray to keep it in place.

I wore the extra small, even though the small fit better around the waist (not quite as tight), because the medium had major gaping at the sleeve hole. The material is very thick and stretchy, which is incredibly comfortable, but if it doesn't fit you just right, then you'll probably have similar issues. Because this was an outdoor event, I was wearing a long sweater which hid the slight amount of gaping I still had at the arm hole. even with the size extra small. Loved the dress, would totally rent it again.

First of all--out of the box, this dress appeared blue to me. It is a smoky blue-gray, but not as gray as it appears online. I felt like it was kind of a sack on me, but everyone else loved it and I eventually felt comfortable in it. It's definitely a different style than what I am used to wearing, and I'm glad I pushed my comfort zone. It's asymmetrical and draped and I wore really sexy heels with it to complete the look.

The fit of the dress was good, except for the shoulder straps which were too long and kept slipping off. I had them adjusted to the shortest length, but they were stretched out and did not stay put. You can't wear a bra with this dress bc of the low back, so I really needed that shoulder strap support. Also, there is a stiff tulle under the skirt--which gives this dress its fun flare. Overall, I liked the style but wasn't impressed with the support. I wore this dress to an outdoor graduation ceremony.
