This dress was great. The only complaint is that the zipper was broken but I was able to fix it to put it on. I got so many compliments at the bridal shower and the color was perfect. The only difficult part is because the back is so low, it was hard to play a game where they had to put a name tag on my back. But it was a fun dress and I really liked the way it fit. 

So fun for a summer wedding- I love the back! The materiel is quite thin so it's perfect for a very hot summer day, but perhaps not the highest quality threads you'll ever put on.

The straps were a little loose/worn, but I didn't have any problems with them falling down.  

The dress has a cute, flirty fit. Legs for days if you are my height or taller. The open back deals the deal on making this the most fun, classy dress I have ever worn. I could wear the six, but I was going to be in the car a lot so I decided be more comfy in the eight. Probably would have worn the six in hindsight though cause with the open back you kind of need the tighter fit. The straps are adjustable though, which is nice. My six was a different shade of blue than my eight, so I did have to change me jewelry. Both nice shades of blue, but the six was far brighter. The only somewhat downside to the dress is the tulle underskirt. It can get a little itchy. It felt more noticeable as the day went on. Totally can deal, but if you are someone with sensitive skin or just doesn't like that feeling, I wanted to let people know it is there. Overall, felt amazing in this dress and would rent again. #lovertr

As a new mom, I loved the way the top fit at the the waist and flaired out to hide the little bit of left over tummy. The crinoline underneath was a little itchy which contributes to the three stairs. Also, the straps kept falling down just as the other reviewers said - I was hoping this would not happen to/bother me but it did! The dress itself is a showstopper with the low back and shape but I would not rent again strictly because of the straps. I may have tried Hollywood tape to make them stick but I am nursing and didn't need anymore barriers! 

Beautiful colors, breathable & comfortable dress. Only downside is I could not keep the straps up all night. Otherwise very happy with this rental!

I loved the way the dress fit and looked on me. It cinched my waist and was very flattering. With that being said I noticed the straps being lose as other reviews mentions, and if you are large chested like me you make look like you have a "uni-boob" since the dress holds you tight together. Downfall was no bra. But I loved this dress on and received many many compliments. 

The dress was very flattering and perfect for a daytime, summer wedding. 

It's a bit bizarre that the dress doesn't have a hook and eye over the zipper. That caused the zipper to come slightly undone. It wasn't a big deal but Definitely something to keep an eye on. 

Buy. Fashion. Tape. Fashion tape is essential to keep the straps up. I used it on the front and back of the dress. 

Loved the the dress, but the straps had a tendency to slide off. It was great for an outdoor graduation. Sticky backless bra is a must! 

I usually wear a size 2, which I ended up wearing.  It fit nice except the top wanted to fall off due to the low back and my small chest. The straps needed to be tighter. I used double sided tape to help. The wedding was outside and hot, so the dress was great due to the light cotton fabric. The two and the zero were different colors, which is weird. You can see it in the picture. 

The straps were a bit long for me so had to pin but I also could have gone down a size. Loved the color and fit. 

I wore this to my bridal shower.  I got several compliments on the dress.  It was cute but not particularly comfortable - the top was a little baggy (in the front and the back, and particularly around the sides) and the straps did not want to stay up.  (The inside seams did seem to have been previously stretched a little but I think it still might have been too roomy and the straps still would have been too long)  It might have fit better with a better bra situation - it would probably be great for someone with a large cup size or with one of those stick-on backless (front-only) strapless bra contraptions. I wore some breast petals and put some bra pads in the dress just to avoid flashing and to fill out the top a little more.  I could feel the exposed metal zipper on my skin.

I wore this to the Kentucky Derby and it was perfect! It was super comfortable and fun. The tulle underneath the skirt creates just enough lift. Like other reviews have said, the straps do not lay flat on the back, but I used some fashion tape to keep them in place. The low back keeps you cool for a hot, outdoor event. 

The 2 was a little big, however the size 0 looked worn and I would of been embarrassed to wear it. However, the afternoon was amazing, wore this for a Kentucky derby party and it was a huge hit! Would rent again. Go for a size smaller since you can't wear a bra.

Fit true to size, but I wore the 8 Bc the color was very faded on 6. It was a little big and the zipper didn't have a hook in the back so it unzipped a little at the top. Received many compliments!! Loved the dress!! Great first RTR experience!

Such a fun dress! It does require a bit of double sided sticky tape to keep the sides in but overall a flirty, fun and adorable dress!

Wore this dress for the Foxfields horse races at UVA and it was perfect! So classy. Fabric is light and has some tulle in the skirt so that it stays full. I'm between a 4 and a 6 and I ended up wearing the 4. The top is perfect for a full bust (I'm a 32DD) and the flowy skirt is great for a larger bottom. The waist is tight so it's truly a dream for an hourglass shape. 

Ordered for a bridal shower. Arrived on time and very well packaged -minimal wrinkles. Fit well besides a little big in the chest - straps are adjustable. I am 5,2; 120lbs, 32C and wore the size 0 (dress seemed to get tighter as the day/eating went on). May be more flattering on women with a chest to fill it out. I had to wear a sticky bra seeing as it is backless and doesn't give any support in the front. Received a LOT of compliments. Only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because the fabric seemed a little cheaper than I had expected. Looked nicer/more formal in the photo but it's thin cotton. Butttttt overall, great experience with Rent The Runway and enjoyed this dress! 

Wore with a sticky bra. The straps kept falling off my shoulders even with the smaller size. Straps are easily adjusted back to a smaller size. Would love to own the dress-- very fun! 

Dress fit perfectly! I wore a sticky bra underneath which helped to fill out the top a bit and keep the straps up. Though the straps still fell occasionally, I wore it for 12 hours and have no complaints. I would rent this dress again!

For perfectly! Actually had people message me where I got the dress because they loved it so much! Great for either causal or dressy wedding! 

This dress was so pretty and comfortable.  The back is cut very low and makes for a nice surprise :) the straps are a little long and overall I felt the dress was a little bit but not noticeable.

The straps are a little loose, but it's not a deal breaker. The dress is adorable. Can dress it up or down. Sexy yet classy.


Completely agree with another reviewer- a size down solves the fact that the straps are entirely too long, but then it's uncomfortable in the waist. The 8 was a bit baggy around my ribs, but I couldn't breathe in a 6, so I belted it. I tried double stick tape, but I always forget that tape doesn't stick to my body haha. Cute dress, I just wish the straps weren't so long. I wore a cardigan to help keep the dress up. Also, I have a smaller bust, so it gapped a bit on the sides. Cute, still wore it, just not quite for me. 

Wore for a photo shoot for our Save the Dates ! I felt super pretty & like a Bride to Be. It was perfect for springtime shoot! 

I wore this dress in a size zero on a sunset catamaran cruise at a friend's wedding. The groom even complimented my look! As others have said, the straps are long, but but I didn't have tape and just tightened them as far as they'd go before leaving the hotel-- they lasted fine, I just had to be aware that they didn't slip down my arms. One of the straps seemed to be permanently twisted. Other than that, I really enjoyed wearing this dress and felt it fit well. Thanks to the empire waist, I also enjoyed eating/drinking whatever I wanted all night!

Very pretty dainty dress. If you're at an outdoor summer wedding get a slip or the crinoline will have you scratching in no time. Straps fell only occasionally. Overall I enjoyed it. 

The fit of the dress was good, except for the shoulder straps which were too long and kept slipping off. I had them adjusted to the shortest length, but they were stretched out and did not stay put. You can't wear a bra with this dress bc of the low back, so I really needed that shoulder strap support. Also, there is a stiff tulle under the skirt--which gives this dress its fun flare. Overall, I liked the style but wasn't impressed with the support. I wore this dress to an outdoor graduation ceremony. 

The dress runs large, I had to wear a size down. You can't really wear a bra since your back is completely exposed (very sexy in my opinion!), so I wore cutlets. The straps were constantly falling down and I did have a fear my cutlets would be exposed! I received many compliments and felt sexy wearing it for my girlfriends engagement party!

I wore this dress to a friends baby shower in the middle of summer. The shower was held at a beautiful barn that was open to the elements. This dress was so breathable, and comfortable I couldn't have been happier with my choice! Not to mention, no bra needed! Another hit from RTR! 

I wore this dress for a casual, outdoor summer wedding.  I am in between a 4 and a 6 and wound up wearing the 4.  I also used some fashion tape in between the adjustable straps to keep them from slipping as I read from previous reviews.  That worked like a charm.  It has an open back and I was able to get away without a bra.  

Only annoyance- straps kept falling down. Flattering fit for sure! I felt so cute in this dress! 

I sized down since everyone said the straps kept falling, and I didn't want to worry about that all day. I have a small waist/rib cage so was able to fit into the zero comfortably and it was tight enough on top that you don't have to worry about wearing a bra (thank goodness since it was 85 and sunny!). Love the fit and flare look as it's very flattering, and the low back was really fun. Overall, the dress was perfect for the day, got a lot of compliments since it was different than everyone else's sundresses! 

I wore this to a wedding and received tons of compliments. The dress fit fairly true to size but I am small chested so I wore a size-down. There is a small danger of the straps  falling down so just make sure to tighten them properly. The dress is also made of a very light fabric that wrinkles easily so be mindful of doing too much sitting down before arriving. 

I actually loved how this dress fit, and it would be perfect for a casual outdoor event in the summer... But it's basically a cotton mini sundress with a dramatic low back and some tulle under the skirt for volume. It wasn't right (fancy enough) for the event I was going to, but I would consider renting it again if the right occasion comes along.

This dress was a huge hit at my school's homecoming! The fit was very flattering. The adjustable straps were not tight enough so I had to use fashion tape on my shoulders. Also, the zipper on the back was not very secure. I pinned the back of the dress together from the inside just to make sure the dress wouldn't come unzipped. This dress is definitely intended for bigger-chested girls, as there is a lot of extra fabric up top, even in the size 0. I would highly recommend this dress.. It seems a little high maintenance, but it's totally worth it! Xo 

Loved this dress! I read the reviews and came prepared with fabric tape to keep the straps in place, which helped - but mostly just had to make sure I sat/stood up straight with my shoulders back all night! Perfect and lightweight for an outdoor summer wedding - got tons of compliments. Loved the open back too. 

The dress was a success overall. Loved the back, the fit, and the pattern was perfect for an outdoor summer wedding. Only complaint was that it is cotton so it wrinkles easily.
