Finding the perfect complementing dress for a hard to match uniform!
I rented this dress for the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. This is an absolutely beautiful dress ; it reminded me of 40's elegance and is very true to the mermaid fit. The dress fit with my typical size 4, but is made to fit snugly around the hips and lower bottom half. For shorter woman, be prepared to wear high heels! It was the right length for me with 5 inch heels. The waist was slightly loose on me so there was a small issue with the boning of the dress not staying in the right place, but it was hardly noticeable. The color is stunning, and you can tell the dress is nicely made. Be careful with accessories - I originally ordered a jewel necklace to wear, but decided it looked cheap against this gorgeous dress!

Even though it didnt fit, I still got a gorgeous dress!
This dress runs extremely small. I ordered a size up from what I usually wear and still could not zip the dress. I would suggest ordering 2 sizes up from your typical size at least, and maybe 3 sizes up for the backup. It is a lovely dress but the material has no give at all , which makes it that much harder to squeeze into.

Amazing customer service - had this dress shipped to me overnight after my first pick was a no.
I actually received this dress as a back up because my original pick did not work. When I got it, I was very surprised. Pictures don't do it justice but the gold speckles throughout make the dress sparkle. It also is very sturdy, with boning in the top part of the dress. Runs true to size, but a size down would probably work too because the material is stretchy. Great to dress up or down!
