Tons of compliments!
This was my backup for a black tie wedding and am very glad I ended up wearing it. The fabric is quality and thick but not uncomfortable. The pockets were super helpful. The bodice is flattering but if you're large chested, you may want to size up as the straps are not very long. The color is dark enough to fit in at a form event, but different enough to stand out against black and navy. Got many compliments!

Something special without being too formal
I rented this for a birthday dinner and just wore it with flats. Even though I ate too much cake it was still super flattering and felt like a special occasion without feeling over the top. The little neckline detail was subtle but added interest. If you have a longer torso you may want to size up as there is not much "give" once it is zipped up. I loved this jumpsuit and will definitely be renting it again!

Great balance of dramatic, formal, and simple!
Wore this dress to a Black Tie Optional wedding in early fall on a lake. It was a perfect balance between a more formal look (black, sparkle, high neck) and a more contemporary feel (dramatic skirt, pockets, cocktail length). It really stood out in the crowd and was high quality material. Fit true to size and needed no real accessorizing -- paired with black sandals, bold diamond/black earrings, black nails, and a purple lipstick. So easy and got tons of compliments!

Brilliant cut and color, but not very forgiving
I did not end up wearing this dress for the Cali wedding I attended, and was really sad! It is a gorgeous dress -- very simple style, but the color and cut in the back make it stand out effortlessly. It is, at once, very flattering but also very unforgiving, specifically the midsection. The fabric does not hide anything and the low cut in the back makes spanx or anything else ineffective. Do your crunches and this dress will be perfect!

Unique and easy dress
Worn to a formal California wedding. Light and airy. Unique pattern and cut in the front were interesting without being too revealing, the back offered a more modern detail. Tighter fit up top, flowy past torso. Could eat and move all night!

Sweet and flattering!
I was worried after reading other reviews that the top would be too small, as I'm usually a 2 or 4 and there was only a 2 available, but it fit perfectly. I attended a winter wedding and paired it with pearls and red/pink multicolored heels for a pop of color. The dress is very flattering, and I received multiple compliments on it throughout the night from complete strangers! I would recommend this dress if you are going for a sweet, demure look and don't mind a low neckline.

Fit really well - noticed tight sleeves in the 2 but the 4 was a better fit overall. Got lots of compliments, and the pockets were great! Pairs really well with bone-colored shoes & jewelry.
