Flattering and form-fitting
The dress is very tight but also supportive - it was like the dress had spanx already included! My tummy felt supported, in a flattering way

Flattering, flowy - good for dancing!
I love the fabric over the arms, and the overall flowy cut of the dress. It was easy to move around and dance in! Not too long for me to wear, even with just 2" wedges!

Beautiful fit, but sequins are not good for dancing
I wore this to a black tie optional NYC wedding. I loved the fit, and, being short (5'2") I was pleased with the length since I didn't have to worry about hemming it. However the sequins on the bodice was irritating against my arms, especially during dancing! I recommend wearing this to a formal event where dancing is NOT involved.

Pockets!
I wore this to a wedding, and easily was the best date ever because my dress had pockets, where I held multiple bottles of 5 hour energy for the groomsmen who couldn't carry anything with them

Unique cut, got lots of compliments
I loved this dress! The fabric was slightly iridescent and was true to size. I had issues with the zipper in both the dress that I wore and the backup size, so this might be a concern for all dresses of this style (i.e. you'll need a friend to help zip it up around the waist because that's where the zipper gets tricky). Overall, I received lots of compliments and I'm glad I went with this dress for my cousin's fall wedding.

heavy material, felt matronly
Heavy material; I decided not to wear it to the wedding because it would be difficult to dance in. Loose in bust; but nice-fitting fit around the bodice, so if you do decide to go with this dress make sure to wear double sided tape for the top. I think it looked "matronly" on me

Wear next size down / yellow flowers are highlighter yellow
Color was different in person vs in pictures. The blue is more muted and the yellow flowers are a little greenish (like highlighter yellow)., so if I had to select based on just the print and cot, I would not have selected this. But it's A very flattering fit and cute short length for an outdoor wedding in the Hamptons.

Not as formal as I thought
Not as formal as I thought - material and flow of the dress felt more like a casual dress rather than formal. I ended up returning it instead of wearing it to the summer outdoor wedding that I had planned on wearing it to.

Unflattering color, runs small
Unflattering color - looks yellow-greenish in person, rather than the pretty yellow in the photograph. This runs small and tight. I ended up returning it instead of wearing it to the event

Perfect length for a wedding
This dress was enough for church, yet short enough to not get stepped on at the dance floor. I ordered a back-up size 8 and ended up wearing the 6 (I'm the one on the left, my sister is modeling the 8). Straps are long, so I had to temporarily shorten them with a quick stitch.

I ended up exchanging this for a different dress because it was too large! The material was very thick, so you probably wouldn't need a bra for it. The material kind of reminded me of that of a placemat. It wasn't as elegant as I was thinking it would be.
