I wore this for my junior homecoming. It fit perfectly, and the colors are so much more vibrant in person! My friends even said that I wore it better than Elle Fanning .  The top is a little low cut, though, so if you have a larger bust, there will be a lot of cleavage. It's also pretty short if you have long legs like I do. But still it's such a classy and beautiful dress!  I submitted it to a contest teenvogue was having, and they even featured me in an article!! This dress is a definite winner for anyone who wants to stylishly stand out from the crowd.

This dress is beautiful in person! It works for both day and night time events so it worked perfectly for my graduation party. The fit is true to size and makes your waist look small giving you a great shape. I was so pleased with it and got a ton of compliments! I highly recommend this dress! 

I thought it ran a little big, so I went a size down, size 2 fit perfect.  No bra needed, the dress was enough support and showed a little cleavage, but not too much.  The thick fabric helped smooth everything out, especially around the waist, to give you a nice clean and classy look.  It looks and feels expensive.  It was a big hit at the wedding!

The fabric photographs wonderfully. The back and length are modest with a plunging neckline. The front did not lay flat on my chest so I wore a bra with a lower center between the cups. It provided the perfect amount of cleavage. The full skirt made it easy to move in. 

This dress fit perfectly. I had read in a previous review that the top was baggy and I have to say that was not my experience. I'm a 32B and the top was TIGHT. Thankfully the material was thick enough to go bra-less and did enough pushing up by itself, because I don't think I could've fit a bra. Length was perfect - short enough with a flare - ideal balance of classy, cute and sexy. The only thing that surprised me was the base color. It looks silvery in the model picture and in photos; however, it had a cream/ off-white base with a flower pattern. I was actually happier with this because I wanted to wear gold heels without it clashing with the silver and I could do this. Lots of compliments.. Would rent again!

Rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner. Loved wearing it. Neckline goes low. Fun to wear. Fit me well.

Ordered a 0 and 2 ended up wearing the 0, which is my usual size. The yellow color is more of a lime color in person, and the blue is closer to a teal. Overall, the color was different than what I expected but still super pretty. You cannot wear a bra with the dress, but I highly recommend the two sided tape to keep the v-neck in tact. Love the fit, and plan on renting the darker version of this in the future!!

This dress was absolutely beautiful. I loved the pattern and texture so much. I was only disappointed that I only ordered a 4. The 4 was definitely not fitted on me, but not to the point where I couldn't wear the dress. It just would have been so much more perfect in a 2! However, this dress is amazing. I wore it to a summer wedding, and received many compliments. I would rent this one again in a heartbeat!

I wore the size 6 (because the 4 wasn't available) and had to pin it slightly but it gave the skirt a more full look, which I liked. The dress shows lots of cleavage. I paired it with a yellow necklace and bright lips. It is much more colorful in person and I highly recommend this dress! 

Great fit and really flattering.  Tight in the bust area which was good for me because I am small and with the low cut it kept it from gaping open.  Also loved the fabric, it was perfect for a summer wedding, wish I could have kept it!

I'm typically a size 0 or size 2, but I was able to fit into a size 0 without a bra. I agree with other reviewers that it is a little snug (but not uncomfortable) in the chest area, but a size 2 was way too big overall for me to wear. The dress is more gorgeous in person than in the photo, and I am absolutely in love with the material and silhouette - so flattering! I wore this to a wedding and had no issues dancing in it all through the night, and I received tons of compliments on it. This is definitely a dress I wish I owned!

Very flattering fit - good for someone looking to show off a smaller waist. Fashion tape is necessary to keep the deep v in place, so make sure you have on hand. Pattern and colors are beautiful in person. Overall, would have bought it if I could have!

I have a short torso so I had to tape the top so the dress wasn't too revealing. Otherwise the dress fit me like a glove and earned me lots of compliments as the night went on. 

It was a little tight in the bust but I swear this dress is even more beautiful in person. I wore this for a fall wedding. It's perfect - it's metallic in just the right way and the colors are so flattering. 

I am just about the same height as you and just ordered this dress.. would you say it still fit well in length?? Also what color shoes did you decide on?

ABSOLUTELY CRAZY about this dress. It fit me like a GLOVE (the waist runs VERY small, so size up).  I have a VERY tiny waist so I was able to fit into the zero.  The skirt is absolutely gorgeous.  There's volume but not too much, and it hides a lot of problem areas, instead of accentuating them.  The fabric is very thick, and the colors are absolutely beautiful.  I didn't need to wear a bra (there wasn't much room for it anyway) but I am small enough on top to get away with it!  I kept getting compliments all day from the bridemaids, strangers, photogrphers.  I NEED to own this dress - but will probably just rent it again :)

This dress was great! It fit well, a little loose, even, and looked great.  It was comfortable and lasted for a 10 hour event, including transportation to and from and between locations, ceremony, reception, and lots of dancing.  It also stood up to lots of misty rain all day and night.  The dress is a bit low/open cut in the front, so either use some tape to tape it in place, or be aware if you're large busted.  I'm pretty small (36B), and I had to keep adjusting so I wasn't showing too much.

I wore this dress to an outdoor dinner party in honor of my wedding. The minute I arrived the event, the compliments kept coming. The fit is true to size but be mindful that there is a deep v-neck which I didn't mind. This dress made me feel so pretty. Thank you RTR! 

The dress is true to size BUT very tight in the chest area.  The next size up is way too big, almost like a 4 instead of a 2.  The dress overall is very comfortable and very structured so eat as much as you want and your belly won't show ;)

I wore this dress to dinner on a cruise. The bust area fit perfectly, but it was loose on my hips (so comfortable though!). I will definitely be renting this dress again for a friend's wedding. 

It fit me very well and came right on time! It is has a pretty deep V but it comes with some clothing tape which came in handy.

As other reviews mention, this runs very small in the bust. The 0 fir everywhere but was snug in the bust, in fact, I couldn't even wear a bra. If you're looking for tons of cleave you can totally wear a bra, just would have been too much for a graduation ceremony.

It was the perfect length even for someone my height. Loved the flare in the skirt. Overall, it was a huge it!

do you think this dress would be okay to wear to a baby shower or is the material a little too dressy?

The material is really light making the dress easy to wear. The dress is short but I still wore it being 5'8. I have a small chest and found the 4 to be a little tight. The chest area in general was a bit awkward but worked fine. I love this dress because it gives a nice figure. I have hips and this emphasized a small waist and very leggy. LOVED IT!

I wore this dress in size 2. I love the silhouette of the dress. It makes my waist look smaller and my legs look longer. The fabric is gorgeous, very high quality. The only complain I have is that the chest area is a little tight. I also tried size 4 but it was way too big.

That dress could have been very flattering, definitely needed to size 2 and arguably, maybe a 0.  The color was dingier than I expected, not a deal breaker though. If an occasion Rises that calls for a fancy, spring dress, I would consider trying again.  

I was nervous about the size 4 because of my larger bust. I will say it was a tight squeeze, but overall fit me best. I used Hollywood tape to keep the neckline in shape, which helped a lot, though not all, of the bunching in that area. 

Wore this dress to a derby-style wedding. The bottom portion had a lot of flair but helps balance out hips. The top portion fit fine but I can see this dress being difficult for busty gals as the top is fitted and the v-neck relatively low. The dress was fun and colorful...loved the embroidered pattern and lightness of the fabric although like other reviewers noted, wish it was lined since the material could be a bit scratchy. 

This dress was sent to me as a substitute but I ended up loving it anyway! The fabric is substantial and flattering. The 2 was a little roomy, but I appreciated that after eating lots of food at the wedding. As a D cup, I was aware going in that this would be a tight squeeze. That being said, with some strategic double stick tape and a nude bra it was definitely workable. The one con is that the dress isn't lined, which became a problem when I realized how itchy the dress was. Worth it for the compliments and comfort thought!

I am someone who ALWAYS tries things on before a purchase. I have to be honest, this experience made me very nervous. Even with all the reassurance from friends who have used RTR in the past, I was plagued with anxiety until the dress showed up at my hotel. 

I rented this dress for my Brother's rehearsal dinner. I was hoping to find something to purchase several weeks prior to the event, but found myself dress-less less than 24 hrs. before the dinner.  Many of my first choice options were unavailable, but I luckily found this Opening Ceremony that i just knew would look great and appropriate for the event. I am a true size 6, and this was my first choice. The reviews are mixed, so I decided to rent the 8 as a back up. They didn't have it. So then i figured just get the 4, but that was also unavailable.  The 6 was my only option and i put my faith all in, knowing it would work out.

I had an issue with getting my initial order to work. I emailed the stylist and she immediately reassured me that the dress would arrive Thursday evening. The dress was even more intricate and beautiful in person.  It looks a lot like a modern brocade material. I initial thought silver accessories would work based on pictures, but the metallic was more platinum, and I wore it with gold. Honestly, either would work. 

Some people mentioned the bust was tight, and I have a 34C, but didn't feel too restricted. My boobs were out, but I tend to be more comfortable with that look than others. Others also mentioned the waist being big. This is were I agree. I have a naturally smaller waist, and I would have really hoped to have tried the 4 to see if the fit would have been more true to size. basically, if I owned this dress, I probably would have bought the 6 and had the waist taken in. 

Overall, I received so many compliments and felt almost as beautiful as the bride to be. I was very happy with my first experience with RTR and would definitely use them again!

Gorgeous! Now I'm convinced I want this dress 

Ordered the 8 with the 6 as backup, luckily my order shipped 2 days early and I was able to try them on. The 6 was a little baggy in the waist, so I emailed RTR for the 4 (great customer service -- they responded at 11pm when I emailed). The 4 was perfect in the waist but significantly more snug on my boobs. I went with the 4 because my small waist is the part I like to accentuate, but I definitely felt like it was too short and boobylicious for the family wedding I attended. Overall I loved the dress, but be warned -- if you've got boobs this dress WILL put them on display!

This dress was very pretty and different from most dresses I've rented. It was perfect for a summer wedding down the shore. The material is not what I would call itchy, but not exactly comfortable. I tried on both the 0 and the 2 and wore the 0. The difference between the two sizes was substantial so I would be vary if you are often between sizes. 

Fit was tight in the waist area and the full bodied skirt helped hide any problem areas. Too was very very low cut, a little too much cleavage than I expected but some sticky tape held it together nicely. #comfy #glam 

The dress fit very well- I was nervous that it would be too small but thank goodness I ordered a 2 and a 4 instead of a 4 and a 6. The only downside was that the area under the armpit was a little baggy. Extremely unnoticeable to anyone other than myself. I got compliments all night long. I could see it being an issue if you are a bustier person. I am a 34 small C and it fit fine for me and I did not have to wear a bra (score!) however- I could see it being snug if you are a bustier petite person. It also was not too long for my 5'2" self. It also hides the hips well if you are more of a pear shape like myself :) 

Very cute dress, lots of compliments. Overall fit was good except for the bust. I wore a 0 and have a 32B bust and it was too big, it made me uncomfortable when I sat down. The dress looked a little worn in also. Not my favorite RTR. 

Loved the color of the dress. The fabric is very thick and VERY itchy. I loved the look so I put up with it but it was a tad uncomfortable. Received lots of compliments. 

This dress is SO flattering. It was structured very well and makes your waist look so teeny! I also want to add that I saw a lot of reviews say that it was tight in the chest area.. I personally didn't experience that at all and I'm a C cup. I had rented this for a wedding but unfortunately didn't wear it because it didn't seem formal enough for this specific occasion. However, I must say that I am beyond impressed with their customer service! They overnighted me another dress and I LOVED it- I went with the Allison Pariss, Lisa dress and I was obsessed! I am so thankful for their help and making sure I had the perfect dress in time for the wedding! 

It was unique and really beautiful. The fabric is great: awesome pattern/colors, nice sheen and a material that is thick enough to conceal but not wrinkle. As every review says, this isn't for a top heavy woman. If you are like me and a little more pear shaped, it is great fit - almost like a comfortable push-up bra/corset. I normally wear a size 8, and am pretty tall, so I ordered a back up style since only the 6 was available. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly and wasn't too short! All in all I would recommend this to anyone with the right shape for it. My only complaint is that is was a little tight in the underarm area but it was tight in general on top, so that was to be expected.

So the first thing I noticed about this dress is that the deep v-neck, plus the way the torso seams line up, means I had to adjust my boobs - almost like a push-up bra, but without the underwire support. This made me feel like Marjorie from Game of Thrones :) The fabric is great and swingy, and the look is classy so you can wear it to an evening affair. The 8 was a big big around the stomach and hips, but it was structured so it still looked like a pretty skirt. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to hide their hips while showing off boobs.

This dress did not fit me well, at all.  I ordered a 4 & had wanted a backup size 2, but it was not available.  The 4 was definitely too big in the waist, as you can see in the pictures  I could hold a whole fist full of dress.  However it was bursting at my bust.  I could barely breathe.  All in all, it just wasn't right for my body type.

This dress suited my needs very well. I wanted something nice and unique. It was fancy but didn't feel stuffy.  I got compliments on the dress from women and even a couple men. 
The dress was bigger than I expected, I ordered a 4 and a 2 and wore the 2. I think the 0 might have fit even better. It was a little lose all around, especially around the bust. I'm small, but definitely not the smallest. My chest is small, but, again, not the smallest. 
I did not find the dress itchy as some other reviewers mentioned, but that may be because it was looser. 
I wore the dress with low black wedges and a gold necklace. 



The dress fit very well except in the bust area. I originally wanted to wear the 4, but ordered the 2 as a backup. I ended up using the 2 because of how loose the bust area was. I used some fashion tape to keep it from moving around. Overall, it fit my body shape very well and it was very flattering around my waist. I would highly recommend this dress for girls that have an hourglass shape. 

The dress is beautiful.  It runs big but it snug in the bust.  Very comfortable but lacks a liner so that was my only problem with it because it's not made of a soft material.  

What a fun dress to wear! The material photographs very well - shiny, with a slight metallic tinge that's not readily apparent in person. The dress looked more pinkish in person than in photos as well, but it's not a huge difference. The shape of the dress is very flattering, although I did find that the bust was cut for someone a bit less curvy than I am. It flattened me out a bit, but that was noticeable if someone was looking at my from my side. Overall, a very fun and flirty dress to wear out! 

Difficulty finding a bra that works with this dress and the stitching is a bit itchy on the shoulders ad chest area - but AMAZING dress nonetheless!! wish I had more pictures in it since it was soo gorgeous!! Fit beautifully and was so happy with my first RTR dress! Perfect for an April wedding at the beach :) 

It was a little tight in the breast area, but I do have a larger bust so thats not uncommon. 

The fabric colors are beautiful.. However, there is no lining inside the dress, the material is very thin.  Also, on top of this dress being very short, it fit very strange in the boobs. It sort of cut the bottom of my boobs off, and my bra kept showing too. I tried to tape the dress down to my bra, but it kept coming detached and showing anyway. Cute, but would have liked a better fit. 

This dress is so beautiful!  The fabric is awesome in person a little shimmery but not sparkly at all. I loved the cut with the low bust and short flirty skirt but I had an issue with the fit. You could tell the dress had been worn due to the stretched out bust line. I'm a 34a-b and typically wear a 6 dress size but even the 4 in this dress was large in the boob area!  You could tell someone had tried to wear it having a much larger bust than me and fully stretched it out to a point where I had to wear a push up bra and I couldn't even fill out the bust which was super disappointing.   I ended up having to wear double sided tape just to keep from my bra showing which didn't even work in all the places. 

All in all would have been a perfect dress for a summer wedding but was very disappointed in the fit due to prior wear and tear. 

Color was different in person vs in pictures. The blue is more muted and the yellow flowers are a little greenish (like highlighter yellow)., so if I had to select based on just the print and cot, I would not have selected this. But it's A very flattering fit and cute short length for an outdoor wedding in the Hamptons. 

I was really excited to wear this dress. I'm normally a 4/6 so I ordered both and didn't think there would be any issues. The 6 was HUGE. It looked horrendous on me. Whereas the 4 was so tiny that I felt like I couldn't move, bend, or breathe. I ended up having to suck it up (and in) to wear the 4 and just had to be extremely careful about my butt not hanging out. I do have to say although it didn't feel great it photographs FABULOUSLY. Also, I could not wear a bra with the 4 and it kind of squeezes your boobs weirdly and makes them look flat. This dress is definitely made for girls with NO chest. The under tone of the dress is more of a peachy color opposed to the silver that it looks like in pictures. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this dress to anyone with boobs because of how uncomfortable I was, BUT it did end up looking so good that like I understand why people would recommend it. You just have to be extremely carefully of the significant variance between sizes. 

Loved this dress! Super cute and high quality. Thick material that gives the dress a classic charm. Runs big in waist and is very low with cleavage. Would definitely recommend fashion tape to keep this in place. I did not get any and I'm sorry that I did not. 

The fabric was beautiful and even wowed our photographer. The only problem was that the bust was way too small. There was plenty of room elsewhere, but I had to take a deep breath to get the zipper past my back. I'm not proportional either, so it might just be me. Luckily it still looked great in pictures 

This dress was cute yet glamorous- perfect for a fall wedding on a farm near Sacramento. I usually wear or 4 so when I saw that this dress runs large I ordered a 2 and a 4 for back-up. I should have gotten a 0! The bodice was too large and gaped out right where it shouldn't. It probably would have worked better for someone with a larger chest- I wear a 32C currently. I was able to sort of fix the problem by pulling the excess fabric around my waist to the back and then belting it. I also used strips of fashion tape on my belly (to keep it pulled down and taut across my best) and on edges of the parts going over my bust. I wore it without a bra because you could see too much of the bra when I tried it on, but a push-up bra would have fixed the issue too. 

I still got a ton of compliments on it, and many people commented on how well it fit me so I pulled it off :) I found it to be pretty comfortable despite the fitting issues- I would give this dress a 3.5 if it was an available rating. 

As soon as I tried on the dress I felt uncomfortable from the fabric, it felt heavy and not very breathable. If you are at all sensitive to itchy or scratchy fabrics I would not recommend this dress. The dress is not lined, so your skin feels all the patterns from the embroidery. You also can't wear a slip with the dress, so for me there was no relief from the fabric. First I tried it on with a NuBra, but you could see the plastic clip, so I just wore pasties. I liked the shape of the dress, it made me feel dainty. I'm pretty comfortable accentuating my curves, but even for me the cut was a little low, and in hindsight maybe a little low for a wedding. I felt like people were staring right at my boobs. I had to use fashion tape to secure the dress to my cleavage, so if I sat down or bent over I wouldn't flash people. After some dancing and sweating, the stickiness of the tape started to wear off, so I had to reapply. If you are not comfortable with scratchy fabric or showing a lot of cleavage I would not recommend this dress.  

This is a beautiful dress, but the fit is really weird. I sized up because I read that it runs small, but the 4 was baggy on my waist and gaping over the chest, even with Hollywood Fashion Tape. The six was much too big as well. I made the waist fit a little better with a belt from Lilly Pulitzer. I loved the fabric and the full skirt, but would not rent this dress again. 

This was a love hate relationship. I LOVE the dress (colors & material are fabulous!) but was disappointed with the fit. I am always, always a size 6. I wanted a size 8 as my backup size, but it was out of stock. Good thing because the 6 was too big! The straps were loose and I couldn't get them to lay flat for the life of me. It was almost like they were stretched out. You could see my boob from the side... not good! I tried fashion tape but it kept unsticking. The torso was also pretty loose. Overall, I think I looked pretty good (haha!). Would have loved to see what the 4 looked/fit like!
