Bossy but make it sweet
I really liked this one - if you're short, it will probably be on the ground but the length was perfect for me. I felt really put together and liked the semi sheer skirt with a slip above the knee. Really flattering and gave me nice curves where I didn't have any.

Very sweet dress that I paired with black shoes to make it a little less saccharine. Overall, it fit true to size. The top fabric did wrinkle over the course of the day, but overall, I felt pretty good wearing this.

A little frumpy, but fine
I thought this would be a little more "snatching" than it was. Overall it's high quality but it made my stomach and hips look much wider than they are, since the top part split open and puffed out a bit. Probably cuter on a more hourglass shape with better defined waist.

This is a little cropped, and for my frame, too short in the arms. It didn't look like it did on the model, despite us being the same height. It's warm, not itchy, and pretty cute. Kept it for a few weeks but it's not great enough to buy or hold on to.

Ballet Perfection
I wrote this out and felt like a million dollars. I love the deep plunge and really came around to the voluminous skirt. At first, I felt a little silly but then decided to be extra and go with it. It’s sexy and sweet at the same time. Yes, the bodysuit is a bit short but it stretches for us tall gals. Highly recommend!

Cute, but there are better Sandro dresses
I think this was a sweet dress, appropriate for a lot of different occasions. I wore a nude slip under it for work, and paired it with silver flats and a denim jacket. I found it to be a little big in the waist, and just not quite as good as other Sandro knits. I’d wear again but wouldn’t buy it.

I love FD dresses, skirts, tops, and blazers. But their pants never work for me. They flatten my bum and aren’t long enough. Granted, I could have worn them with flats but I’m not a fan of that look. If you need a 34” inseam or longer, these will be too short. It’s too bad because the material is great.

Striped Chic, but wrinkly.
I loved this dress but hated the material. It wrinkled just looking at it. I got lots of compliments but as someone who hates wrinkly clothes, it's all I could see. I found the waist to be a bit high on me, but that's fairly typical since I'm tall. Belt was ok, but I would have liked to swap it for something with texture. Unfortunately it was sewn on. It also did not come with the neck bow, but that's ok by me.

This is not made for tall women. The waist is really short, despite the length being ok on me. I also really did not like that the tie was attached. It might have worked otherwise. I found the shoulder area to be a bit tight, causing the chest to gape open. I wouldn’t bother sizing up if you’re tall. It probably still won’t work. Too bad, because I loved the idea and the fabric is very nice.

I love the color and fit of this dress. However, it’s completely unwearable as-is. The portion of the skirt, from the bum cheek down, is see through. I really struggled to find something to wear underneath that worked. Because of the knit, the under layer color had to be close to the same as the dress, or it just looked odd. I can’t believe this wasn’t originally manufactured with a liner. It’s just not wearable without.

This was such a tempting piece. I love the idea of it, but I probably should have sized up. Otherwise, I would have needed a bodysuit or bandeau bra to make sure there wasn’t any indecent exposure. Fabric is a chambray/oxford material and absolutely needs ironing before wearing. As a tall girl, the sleeves were perfect but will be quite long on others. That wouldn’t ruin the look, just something to be aware of.

Not for Tall Women
After searching long and hard for a gown to wear to a professional black tie gala, I settled on this one. Conservative but still interesting. I’m tall, so I chatted with a RTR rep to make sure the model really is 5’10. I was assured they were really accurate with this info. Cut to today, I arrived at my hotel where I had the dress shipped and threw it on. First, the material is really light and does not have the weight I would expect from all the sequins. However, this dress is absolutely not long. It was about 4” off the floor on me, and I’m 5’9. There is no way the model is wearing the same dress and is 5’10”. So disappointing. Literally having to overnight a gown from home so I have something to wear to this gala. Also, the small is really big and the x-small is really small. Definitely pass on this one.

So close to great
I wanted to love this because so many others look great in it. But I just could not get into the color scheme on my skin tone. Also, the second layer of ruching just below the busy puffs out (why? What function does this serve? It’s not aesthetics.) That said, I was pleasantly surprised the bust didn’t gape on my small chest and the length was almost to the floor on my 5’9” frame. I sent it back without wearing, ultimately.

This dress is so fantastic if you are planning on standing still and not eating. The most frustrating thing are these elasticized straps that run UNDER your armpit and cut into you. They’re not hanging straps, so they seem pointless. Anyway, I ended up changing out of this dress into another outfit after 10 minutes.

Beauty is pain
Ugh. I waited SO long for this top and the matching blazer to become available at the same time. I was excited to snap them up. However, this top has a deep flaw that made me return it without wearing. The sequins “wrap” over the top edge of the bodice, meaning they become mini razor blades and I could tell within seconds of putting this on that there’s no way I could wear it for an entire night. I am so disappointed considering the set is super high quality, the sequins are stitched on perfectly, and the set looks great together.

I liked these. Not loved, but liked. They ran a touch large and definitely stretched with wear. They were also a bit too short for my 5’9 body, but they’re obviously intentionally cropped, so it wasn’t terrible. I didn’t rent the jacket (as it’s like most RTR items and never available) but I actually think that would have been a bit too much of a look for me. I paired the pants with a black oversized turtleneck sweater and heels.

I rented this for work and felt like a hot professional woman. It's so flattering (I did wear spanx under so there were no underwear lines), especially when paired with a black belt and heels. I loved this so much I went out and bought a black version of it. The fabric does not stretch out with wear and retained its shape throughout the day. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly Sexy
I rented this feeling lukewarm about it, but it's become one of my favorite rentals of all time. Yes, the neckline is low, but I was able to wear a normal bra with it. It skimmed my body perfectly and at 5'9, the hem hit just above my ankle bones. The background is black and there are small white flowers all over it with a fair amount of green leaves. It's hard to tell from the photos, but the green and white make it much more summery in person. Fabric is lightweight and could be a little sheer in some lights.
