Listen to all the reviews- this is designed for a very specific body type and has no give.
This fit... but only sort of. Only in the sense that I could get it on. I'm a fairly average build, I think, but this dress appears to have been designed for someone with very small hips, not very small waist, and huge bust. It was definitely for a top heavy body type. If you're a pear, hourglass, or athletic type, it will likely not fit and look very odd. Listen to the reviews: very few people who rent this seem to wear it because the fit is so unfortunate.

A fun, funky dress.
This was just what I was looking for. I ordered way ahead of time for a funky, edgy wedding in a new event space in the city... if only the original size I ordered hadn't become unavailable the day before my delivery! The 12L would have been perfect. The 14R was a smidge too big, and all the photos from the night make me look a little dumpy, alas, because the size is just a little off. But still, it was the style I was looking for and I still felt great in such a different dress. And I did get compliments! The material is nice and thick, almost a brocade, and the train made me feel almost like a funky, fashion-forward princess!

Fun and funky
Got this for a funky wedding in metallic. It was a great choice, but ultimately was my second choice. Definitely needs some kind of good bra, and perhaps spanx because it is form-fitting in the middle.

Nice for a fancier event, almost like a ball gown
This was a last-minute replacement by the stylist. It wasn't what I was looking for, because my event was a little funky and edgier, but this was lovely, and great for colder months because the fabric is heavier. A good choice for more conservative winter weddings, with some fun touches.

Spectacular from the back, but a little dowdy from the front.
This dress is lovely. It hangs beautifully, and is absolutely the right length for a tall woman like me, in appropriate heels for a formal event. The sparkle is beautiful. It was my backup, and I chose a different dress because while this dress was spectacular from the rear view, with a great drape in the skirt and a pretty back, the front felt a little dowdy.

This was stunning. Not perfect, but stunning.
I wore this for a formal pearl-themed gala, and it was great. I loved the sheer overlay over the lace, and a sideswept bun on the opposite shoulder of the asymmetrical tulle was the perfect 'do to accentuate the dress. Some sparkly earrings and NO NECKLACE really made it pop. However, I'm pretty tall and curvy, and this dress, honestly, just wasn't made for my shape. I had to squeeze into it because I think the design is really made to give the illusion of curves to women who haven't got many, rather than being a great dress for women with curves. As other reviewers have said, it's very tight in the hips, and there is NO stretch. I rented the long, as I'm tall, and this was woefully short on me. I made just barely work by wearing shoes that I wanted to show off, but was disappointed by the inadequate length. Really, I wonder if a 14L would have been better... unfortunately RTR doesn't seem to stock enough of those sizes! In the end, it was a great dress and a great night.

Was a little small, but gorgeous.
The fit on this was a little small so I had to wear it on my pinky... a little awkward, but still got the job done. It was perfect for the pearl theme of the formal gala evening and went well with my dress and other accessories.

These bangles were great for a pearl-themed gala, but were small!
Beautiful, and just right for my dress and the gala. Unfortunately, they were small enough that they wreaked havoc on my hands at the end of the night when I had to remove them. I had to use soap to slide them over my hands, and still have a scrape on my thumb! Very pretty, but best if you have smaller hands than average.

Lot's shinier and tighter/more-mini than expected!
I rented this as the conservative option for a family wedding, thinking that the pics looked fairly reserved. Unfortunately, not only was the dress very tight (I could barely sit down, and would have held my breath all night), but it sparkled like New Year's Eve in Times Square! It was much more daring and sparkly than I anticipated, and the skirt was shorter than anticipated, as well. This would have been great in a size up (unavailable) for a holiday party, but I ultimately decided that I couldn't wear it.

Just wasn't quite right.
The fit seemed fine. I usually wear a 12L and this was a little tight across the bust, but otherwise fit. I was disappointed that it was terribly wrinkled when it arrived (but I suppose it's understandable, based on how it's shipped). Only thing was, I didn't really have time to steam or press it. The dress was fun and a little wilder than my usual style, but I was excited about trying something like this. Unfortunately, what I thought was a cool asymmetrical hem on the crocheted fabric was more of a square with a hole in it and awkwardly attached to the skirt. Some people loved this one, some had choice words ("did a fairy get in a fight?", "perfect for talk-like-a-pirate day"), but ultimately I didn't feel pretty in this dress.
