Amazing dress for a wedding. I received so many compliments on this. I love the drama that the tulle added and the bodice was perfect. Fits true to size, but I would recommend sizing up if you have a larger chest (I'm a 32A on top). I was a little worried about the length of the dress hitting me in a weird spot but it was perfect and highlights your calves, especially in 4 in heels! Would absolutely rent this again!! 

This dress was perfect for a black tie gala. It was whimsical but formal. Super comfortable. I'm glad I read reviews and bought a sparkle belt and hair clip to dress it up even more. The tulle came out of the bag perfect, I didn't have to steam or iron it. 

The dress itself was pretty cool. Not something I would normally wear because the cut is so different. I normally wear a size 0 but the zipper was broken on that one so I ended up wearing the size 2, which I think was a better fit with this dress for some reason. Not sure I'm thrilled with the designer. The tulle was not wrinkled but the way the dress was sewn, the seam of the tulle was in the front which I thought was a fail (it was in the back in the 0 though). It wasn't super noticeable, but annoying. Otherwise, it was comfortable and I got a lot of comments about my dress that night! The dress could benefit from some pockets. Overall, a fun rental! But this designer could do better quality control!

I frolicked around Montreal in this tulle number for my birthday and felt like a modern princess. The only thing to note is that the shoulders were tight, but sizing up meant the waist was a bit big. 

This dress is very well made and not like most formal affair dresses: it feels like you're wearing a costume! It's really fun and definitely gives you and other worldly feel.  Compliments all night. Plan on standing out.  

Only downside of the dress was the zipper. When dancing I had to keep adjusting the zipper. It kept coming down.

I loved the asymmetrical messy skirt on this dress. That, plus the lace and tulle in black, helped give it a bit of edge. I wore this to a Halloween masquerade ball.

The dress ran small so I was in between sizes which made the backup size feel big. The tulle was very annoying g all night. I was constantly pushing it down and trying to keep it from sticking to me. Other than that the dress was pretty!  

Excellent fit, could wear a regular bra with it, very flattering even on gals with shorter legs. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the tulle came out a bit crunched. Make sure you order it in enough time to hang it up for a day to let the wrinkles fall out of the skirt. Overall very happy and would rent this dress again 

Overall the dress is gorgeous! The tulle skirt is beautiful! It was quiet tight on my shoulders which irritated my under arms. I usually wear a 2 but I recommend lanky girls size up. 

It was beautiful and fit true to my normal size. I have a smaller chest though and I think someone with above a C may find it pretty tight up top! The dress was beautiful and the tulle was really fluffy and pretty. I got compliments all night.


I wore this to a fundraiser and received many compliments. The zipper did slide down a few times as other reviewers mentioned but otherwise the dress was great. 

I'm very petite (98 lbs, 5' tall, 30C, as RTR won't let me fill out my profile), so finding a dress that fits around the shoulders, arms, bust, and waist is hard. I'm also wary of dresses that are too long. This dress was much longer on me than the model, of course (just a bit above my ankles), but otherwise fit *perfectly* (perhaps an inch or two in the stomach, which was a blessing since it meant I didn't worry about eating too much at dinner). The material was delicate and pretty and the tulle added a very nice effect and was lots of fun when I was dancing the night away. I got compliments on the dress, was comfortable, and had no problems of any sort with it.

As other reviewers have noted (and I forgot when it came time to put it on!), the zipper does fall slightly every so often, so pinning it would be a good idea. I was at a family wedding and never felt like it was coming down an embarrassing amount, but it was noted by my boyfriend a few times and (eek!) a stranger at one point as well. 

As they also noted and I was prepared for, the tulle will likely arrive quite messy. My mom bought a little hand steamer that I took to the wedding and which got it looking perfect in just a few minutes; a hot shower may also do the trick. 

The only unfortunate thing was that I was looking for something with a bit of a vintage flare (literally, I was hoping for a bit of a petticoat effect), and this didn't have it. If you don't want too much of that feeling, this is definitely the dress for you! If you want something with more drama, though, this dress might not be exactly what you were looking for.

It was true to size. The only problem was the zipper wouldn't stay up, a safety pin fixed the problem.

I ordered a size 4 and a size 6, the 4 fit perfectly however the tulle on the 4 was extremely wrinkled when the dress arrived. I wasn't able to steam the tulle on the 4 straight so I ended up wearing the size 6 which was a little too big around my shoulders and chest. The dress was so comfortable and fun to wear but the zipper kept unzipping a few inches throughout the night.

This dress is stunning. I like the tulle flare bottom. I received so many compliments. 

this dress was extraordinarily comfortable and flattering.  I did have a hard time getting the tulle to straighten out but it didn't really bother me much. as described in other reviews, the zipper goes have a problem staying up.  I used some dress tape to help. overall, despite a couple of minor issues, I would rent this dress again!

It's true to size, and very comfortable. The tulle is a little bit all over the place, but I didn't mind since I was walking around and dancing a lot. But if it's an event where you need to stand still and pose for photos, it may need regular re-adjusting.



This dress is fun and different which is why I decided to wear it to an opera. I loved it but the zipper kept falling down and the tulle was difficult to control. I managed to deal with it gracefully.  I was definitely best dressed besides the malfunction. 

The lace and tulle made this dress perfect for the travelling Broadway production of Phantom of the Opera. I received tons of compliments! This dress is an elegant eye-catcher. I usually wear a size 4 or 6, but wore an 8 in this dress because the bust is tight (there is no give up top). I used a thin belt to cinch the extra fabric in the waist. The only real con is there is no hook up top so the zipper slid down all night long. 

The tulle definitely got a little messed up in transit and I had to use a safety pin bc the zipper was a little loose. But other than that it was super comfortable and I got a ton of compliments!  Great dress!!

This was simple but fun, and stood out from all the other women wearing black. If you like tulle but don't want to look clownish, this is the dress for you. Order your true size in this one (big busted or broad shouldered women need to go one size up). And the zipper was super annoying (kept sliding down). But still giving this dress a nice rating, anyway. And the tulle is surprisingly durable and not too delicate (I was scared I might rip it).

Dress was great! The only issue was the tool, no matter how great it looked before event it easily wrinkles. Lots of compliments on the dress though! 

The material is great.  The cut and overlay is very flattering for the waist and bust.  I had no trouble with the zipper staying up as some reviews mentioned.  I believe it runs true to size.  I recommend ordering a day or so before your event, as the tulle needs time to smooth out from shipping.  Excited to try other dresses by this designer! 

It was tts and a fun dress to wear to a black tie affair!!!

Depending on the brand, I wear anywhere between a 4-6. The 4 was very snug and a little uncomfortable around my broader shoulders, but it fit perfectly in the waist. Didn't try on the 6 because we were in a hurry. I took it right out of the bag without steaming, and I felt like the material still looked beautiful. Would definitely wear this dress again! 

The 4 fit a little better but was much much shorter for some reason. I went with the 6 because it seemed more appropriate for the event. 

The dress is very forgiving due to the amount of material. I have a large rib cage and it was a little tight in that area, so I wore the larger size for that reason only. It was very comfortable otherwise. 

This dress was unique and was a great alternative to typical cocktail party attire.  The 0 was a bit tight but the 2 was a bit big so I'd recommend getting a backup size.  It was a fun dress to wear but I'm glad I rented it because I don't think I'd wear it again...too many unique black dresses out there and this one somehow didn't make me feel like a million bucks.  Still, overall it was a great value!

I absolutely loved wearing this dress to my 20 year high school reunion! I wore the size 10 because that fit me the best. The only problem with the dress is that the tulle tends to get a bit messy and can bunch up. However, it is a glamorous dress that is fun to wear, and you can expect to get many compliments all night long! I will definitely use RTR again in the future.

Great fit, Very flattering, and FUN to wear!!

The tulle was pretty wrinkled so you'll need to work with it at least 24hrs in advance. I added a belt to the dress and a small mini jacket to it since I'm much older than the model online and I wanted to cover my shoulders a bit. Lovely dress! 

This was a very easy dress to wear! Comfortable and able to wear "normal" undergarments. The size 2 (my usual size) was the best fit, albeit snug on top (I'm a 32DD and, as others have mentioned, there's no give). However, the tulle was so wrinkled that it was unwearable, even after spending 30 minutes trying to steam it.  The size 4 still looked nice and with a quick steam the tulle looked fine. If you don't have access to a steamer I'm not sure this is a good choice. I preemptively pinned the zipper to ensure there were no wardrobe malfunctions - thanks RTR community for providing that tip! Overall it was a nice dress and a good choice for a more conservative formal event when you want more than a basic black dress. 

This dress is fantastic! The fit was true to size. I was given so many compliments on this dress! Everyone I met said they loved it. The only issue was a zipper malfunction. It kept coming unzipped so it was necessary to pin it. Highly recommend this dress for any function.  

The fit seemed fine. I usually wear a 12L and this was a little tight across the bust, but otherwise fit. I was disappointed that it was terribly wrinkled when it arrived (but I suppose it's understandable, based on how it's shipped). Only thing was, I didn't really have time to steam or press it. The dress was fun and a little wilder than my usual style, but I was excited about trying something like this. Unfortunately, what I thought was a cool asymmetrical hem on the crocheted fabric was more of a square with a hole in it and awkwardly attached to the skirt. Some people loved this one, some had choice words ("did a fairy get in a fight?", "perfect for talk-like-a-pirate day"), but ultimately I didn't feel pretty in this dress.

I wore this dress to a movie premiere with my producer boyfriend.  The premiere was in Alabama and the dress was perfectly fun, stylish and not too formal.  It was so easy to wear, I wore a short slip underneath and had no worries since it was such a modest dress.  For accessories, I wore nude-pink heels with an ankle strap, a black & painted jewel clutch by Rachel Rachel Roy, and black geode earrings from a little cheap-o downtown shop.  Hair was half up and nails were dark burgundy.  I wanted to keep the attention on the wonderful skirt of this dress!  It was a great night and I received so many sweet compliments!  I highly recommend this dress for your next event.
