Well-made & WARM
Great, well-made winter basic. Note on fit: this sweater is thick and heavy, but not oversized. I thought it would be a looser fit based on reviews, but I’m a size 14 and the XL wasn’t oversized at all.

SO. Much. Volume!
Really fun colors and print, but the puffed sleeves + pleating + long midi length were too much for me. Even with a belt to define the waist, I felt absurd in it. Maybe it would work for a really quirky/whimsical event, but I didn’t end up wearing it.

Okay option in a pinch
Dress is cut for someone who has more of an hourglass shape than me (the size 14 fit my waist but was too big in the top). The shape and fabric don’t quite go together IMO, but for a last-minute backup it worked.

I saw in the reviews that this ran small on some people, but took a chance on it anyway. Couldn’t zip it even though another dress I ordered by the same designer in the same size fit just fine! I also didn’t love how the reverse side of the fabric shows on the ruffle at the waist. Luckily I had other options!!

Dramatic shape, forgiving cut!
This dress was so much fun to wear! The combination of the neckline, asymmetric midi length and ruffle detailing were super flattering, and the single puffed sleeve added just enough drama. It runs a little large, but that makes it comfortable to move/sit in. I did have to pin the excessively long shoulder strap.

Didn’t wear, but pretty dress
I got this as a replacement for another dress that didn’t fit. It zipped, but barely, and it wasn’t terribly comfortable to sit in. Since we were going to the ballet and would be sitting for hours, I chose something else - but if I’d rented for a different occasion this might have worked.

An LBD with a floral twist
This was my backup style for a fall wedding reception in the woods, and I was really happy with it! Dress is form-fitting but still comfortable, and the mesh peekaboo at the midriff keeps the floral embroidery from looking too matronly. I opted to wear a regular black bra instead of strapless, and didn't mind the straps showing. Would recommend, and would wear again!

Bold & glamorous
I’ve rented this dress twice in two years, both times for fall weddings. The shape is super flattering, the large metallic floral print makes a statement, and the tea-length hem makes it formal without being a full-on ball gown. It’s a heavy fabric with a lot of volume in the skirt, so definitely best for cooler temperatures. Highly recommend!

Most comfortable formal gown I have ever worn, hands down.
This dress is flowy, forgiving, even stretchy, but the sparkles and volume still made it feel very dressy. The only drawback was that the gauzy material kept snagging on the buckles of my heels.

Flattering and glamorous--this dress turned heads and I loved wearing it!
The neckline plunged more on me than on the model, but luckily it wasn't a super conservative wedding. It was also a snug fit in the waist, but still flattering because of the cut. One of my favorite RTR rentals to date!

The full skirt on this dress was perfect for twirling on the dance floor!
As other commenters have pointed out, the stripes on the skirt are more beige than white, and the material is cotton-y and looks more casual in person than in photos. I dressed it up with jewelry/belt/shoes and an updo, and with accessories it was definitely appropriate for a summer evening wedding. Also, this dress is cut for a classic hourglass shape which I am not, so the size that fit me in the waist was a little big in the bust. But it still worked and I enjoyed wearing it!

Flattering, festive, and comfortable - loved this dress!
This is an easy dress to wear, and resulted in compliments at my friend's law firm holiday party, the after-party, and from my roommate when I got home! As others have mentioned, the parts that look black in the photo are navy in person. I still wore it with black tights and shoes because I knew I'd be in a ballroom with low light, but it might be better with nude hose or bare legs and nude shoes.
