I rented this dress for a work holiday party. The fabric has such a pretty shine and I loved the color. The top had a great cut and the fit was perfect all over.

The color is beautiful and the shimmer is very subtle. The fit was comfortable! Very sexy with lots of cleavage! I’m only 5’5” and this dress was pretty short. I didn’t have to wear a bra. 

I felt amazing in this dress! It fit perfect and was just the right amount of fancy/bling for my event. I paired it with a great Oscar de la Renta necklace I rented and it was stunning! 

I loved the dress. It ran true to size. My only complaint is that the shoulders are a little wide and made it difficult to dance at homecoming! 

I sooooooo bad wanted this dress to be more of a brown hue as I was wearing it to a Fall gala. So, my miss, as the color is much more crimson and the *perfect* holiday alternate to the boring LBD.  I'm a 42yo, 34D with just a bit of sag (I can hold a Sharpie), and I pulled this off without tape/without a bra and the girls were just fine.  Such a fun dress! Definitely recommend! 

I liked this dress a lot. It accentuated my waist and the length was just right for my height (5'1"). It has a little glitz to it and over all it's just a fun party dress. I wore a regular bra although I regretted it since the straps/sleeves were slightly off shoulder and there's enough structure that you don't need one even for bustier ladies. Loved it! 

Loved the dress! Felt super sexy in it. Is booby so bigger chest beware if you don't like that 


The fit was great, although it is a little busty.  I taped a piece of lace behind the v part to make it more sheer!

 I loved this dress from top to bottom. The color was gorgeous, the length was perfect (came just above my knee and I'm short), and loved the sweetheart neckline. Just beware if you are full-chested, this might not be the dress for you. I'm only a 34C and it was pretty revealing in that department.

I loved this dress! I wore it for a Valentine's Day date with my boyfriend. Rented this in my normal size and it fit perfectly. It was easy to get on and nice that you can wear it with a normal black bra. I wore this to work with a cardigan over it (buttoned all the way up... because this dress is lowwww cut, people!). Very easy transition from day to night. 

The dress looks darker in real life than it does in RTR's pictures. It almost looked black with a red iridescence. But that was nice for me as I'm not really a fan of wearing red.

This little number will take you direct to Cleavage Town, so you may want to consider wearing a camisole underneath if you're going to a more modest affair.

This is a really pretty dress and I was impressed with the quality. That being said the amount of cleavage was pretty embarrassing. When I put it on I thought whelp, I won't care after a few drinks, but looking back at the pictures I'm like damn self... why didn't I just wear a dress I already own? As a reference point, I'm a 34D/DD depending on the bra. 

This was my first time using rtr and I think I'll use it again, but I'll be more careful about picking a dress suited for my body! 

Very pretty dress but was a little too low cut for me. I still wore it but have to be very cautious about bending over or dancing. 

Overall a very beautiful dress—got a ton of compliments! The silhouette and fabric were perfect for a semi-formal wedding. The fit was very comfortable but, a little big in the bust—I could have possibly went with a size 0. It was also a bit longer than expected but, was by no means dowdy. I paired it with simple black suede pumps, studded crystal statement earrings and a minimal diamond necklace. This dress gets a 8.5-9/10 for me!

This was perfect for a fall wedding.  The dress fit comfortably and it was fun to wear.  In some lighting, the dress appears to be very dark, but it has a nice sparkle! I am sad to send it back!

Super pretty and fun dress. Size runs large, I usually wear an 8 but wore this in a 6, with no bra and fit perfectly. Quality material and comfortable. 

The reviews are correct on this dress, it does run about a size small. I'm a standard size 4 but the 2 was perfect. I did not need to wear a bra, which I love because that's a rare find for me with a bigger chest. It was an elegant dress, I received a ton of compliments on it! My only complaints are that the dress did arrive smelling pretty musty, and I could tell it was really worn out - there was a pretty significant crease around the waist, it was not a huge deal but definitely kept he dress from looking fresh. Overall a gorgeous dress I would love to wear again.

The dress was definitely on the tight side when I tried it on, until I adjusted my chest. I didn't need to wear a bra, since the dress had great structure. (The neckline has wire in it, which is how it holds its shape.) The dress does make it very obvious if it's not centered properly, though, so be careful how you move and shift when you're wearing it. Had a great night!

I rented a 10 and 12. I ended up going with the 10 because It was a nicer fit. A lot of people complained about how low cut the dress is, but I disagreed. I didn't think it was too risque. I also don't have a lot of cleavage so not sure if that helped. I received lot of compliments. I would absolutely rent again! PS this was my first rental with RTR.

The dress was so pretty, I loved it! The material was thick and nice. However, I am so small chested that I had to invest in some major support to fill out the dress. Not the best option for the less-endowed ladies. 

It fit perfectly. It was low cut in the front I would suggest wearing a strapless bra. #wedding 

It was beautiful, color is stunning and different. Runs a little big... I have a small bust and had to wear a sticky bra with it clipped VERY LOW otherwise you would see it. Perfect for a New Years occasion! Or a wedding right around New Years!

That being said, this dress is beautiful. I wish I had something else to wear it to, because I wanted everyone to see me in this dress. It fit perfectly, and I would highly recommend this dress for people with a larger bust, it definitely flatters the hourglass shape. 

This dress was perfect for a semi-casual wedding. The color is a pretty maroon with a gold sheen to it. I had to steam the skirt part of the dress for it to lay right. I liked the slight 'poof' of the skirt too to hide my hips. The straps didn't bother me dancing, and the sweetheart neckline was just enough skin. If you are pretty tall, this might be too short for you.

I loved the neckline on this dress.  It was flattering to the bust without being scandalous.  The skirt length was fine for a work function, especially with tights.  The fabric is pretty, and subtly sparkly.  I chose size 8 with 6 as my backup, and ended up wearing the 6. It fit perfectly up until I ate a huge dinner and then I was kind of wishing I wore the 8!  

I wore it with the Nicole Miller Southern Plantation earrings, which were terrific with this dress.    (My coworker in the photo is wearing the Sara Lace Shift by Milly, also from RTR!)

This was my first Rent the Runway experience and I enjoyed it.  I'm a nursing mom who is bigger than I'd rather post-baby, and hoping not to stay this size forever.  Renting a dress was the ideal solution!  I will definitely be back.

Usually wear a 2-4 and the 2 fit perfectly. It was snug around the ribs but the bottom is forgiving. Very well made and flattering!

I loved this dress. I wore my usual size--the straps were a little long on me, but as long as I didn't slouch it was ok. Had I gone a size down it probably would have been too snug in the waist. Was able to wear a normal bra, which was nice. The subtle sparkle was really pretty and I got tons of compliments!

I usually opt to wear black when going out, but the red shimmer of this dress lent it a perfect holiday feel. The neckline cut was low, but since the material was structured it worked out fine. A nice length that worked well with black wedges. As long as you don't eat a big lunch before hand the fit will be perfect! 

The dress fit pretty true to size. My only issue was that it was slightly tight in the chest. I ended up not being able to wear a bra with it which I can't normally pull off but the wiring in the bust of the dress made it work.

I received tons of compliments and I felt amazing in it all night!

I wore this dress for what I thought was a dinner date with my Fiancee, but it turned out to be a surprise party for my birthday!  I will say, the slit is VERY low.  I felt great wearing it for a date night, but a little weird wearing something so low cut in front of my friends and family.  regardless, the dress is gorgeous.  Material is well made the the boning in the dress holds its shape and prevents nip slips :)  I'm short waisted and have issues with dresses hitting me in the right spot, but this one did the trick!

Absolutely loved this dress. If you want to feel comfortable, sexy and glamourous, get this dress!   Definitely the type of style that's flattering on all body types. Got so many compliments throughout the night. Easy, no-brander dress!

Fit just right, good for someone with smaller chest like mine. Even with my height it was still a good length, not too short.

So comfortable and got compliments all night! I went with the 10 instead of the 12 because I have a short torso and the shoulders fit better with the smaller size. The fabric was nicely structured without being stiff, and the shine was perfectly understated. I paired a belt with it to break up the dress, and be prepared to have the girls on display. I'm usually not comfortable with that, but the dress is so classy, I didn't feel bad about it! Would totally own this dress!

First of all, I got compliments on this dress all night.  The color, the material, and the fit were all amazing.  

I was a little nervous it would be too low cut, but it was perfect for a tactful, slightly sexy dress for a wedding with family and friends.  I am a 36DD and the size 12 fit a little bit big at the top. The straps just have to be frequently adjusted.  I liked the fit of the 10 a little bit better but the zipper didn't quite zip all the way up (my sister informed me that that means that it did not fit and I didn't like the fit of it better, but I just wish I could have had a size in-between the 10 and the 12).  If I owned the dress I would take in the top a little bit, however all-in-all I LOVED the fit and the dress.  The material was a little bit thicker so it felt warm but not too hot on a chilly November night in New England.  I would definitely recommend renting this dress and wish I could buy it from RTR because that is how much I liked it.  

The dress fit very well. I'm 5'9" and it fit perfectly. The red hue is more subtle than original picture, but it's a beautiful dress and I felt like a million bucks!

I loved this dress!! I have a large bust (32DDD) but small waist so I was worried about a dress fitting my shape. It was perfect in the bust and I was able to wear a regular bra with it, but I do wish that it could've been more form fitting in the waist to show off my figure. I got so many compliments on the dress and loved that it was such a unique color and style. I had a great experience and will definitely rent again! 

Fit true to size. Got both the 8 and the 6, could squeeze into the 6, but was a little tight on the chest (I also just need to accept that I am now an 8 haha). Super comfortable! I am a 34DDD and it showed off the girls nicely all while strapping them in. Wish I could keep this dress!

The dress runs small in the waist. The fabric is not too shiny and looks great in photos! The neckline is really unique.

This dress runs big as I typically wear a 0 or 2, and the 0 was a bit big in the bust for me. It was very low cut, often showing much more than I wanted to show up top! I thought the dress was very pretty and flattering. However, I was disappointed in the dress's color- the metallic didn't show through with the lighting in the room, so it basically looked black. I would recommend wearing this dress to a daytime, outdoor occasion to show off its color. Will rent a different dress next time!
