I have to admit, I was a little nervous when I tried on this dress at home. I'm typically a true to size Medium for cocktail style dresses, and this "Carlene" beauty was no exception. My hesitation wasn't in the fit of the dress itself, but the length. It was just appropriate enough for my formal hospital holiday party, but I definitely had to do the "bend test" in the mirror a few times before feeling certain about the decision to wear it. I am 5'10", so if any taller ladies are hesitant about length, I would suggest sizing up. Ultimately, this dress is an absolute stunner! The front is classy and the back is just sexy enough to add some edge to the Gatsby-esque vibe. I had a sticky bra that only held for about thirty minutes, but even after removing it I felt completely comfortable allowing the thick material of the dress to lend support. Despite some functional considerations with the dress, it was absolutely beautiful, photographs like a dream, and I received nonstop compliments all evening.

I rented this Monique Lhullier stunner for a black tie optional wedding, and it pains me so to return this gown! The material is gorgeous -- thick but not too heavy, photographs beautifully, and looks almost like leather in certain lighting. The hi-low hemline and asymmetrical shoulder made it feel formal but edgy -- my husband said it's his favorite RTR dress to date! I'm 5'10", and wore this dress with 5" Badgley Mischka heels and the 6 Long was perfect. If you're taller and plan to wear heels, I definitely suggest renting the long. I'm a very true size 6, and this gown fit perfectly. I was able to wear a strapless bra but could have probably gone without -- the material and structure provided plenty of support. I received gasps, compliments, and stares all night long -- this is one of my favorite rentals in three years with RTR! :)

I wore this incredible cobalt blue gown for my sister's wedding this weekend and the compliments were nonstop! The mermaid shape was extremely flattering - fitted but still comfortable enough for an evening of dancing. At 5'10" tall, the extra length was perfect with my 4 inch heels. This navy sequin stunner is even more beautiful in person! The color is fun yet sophisticated, making it slightly different from your average LBD. Although the skirt was a little scratchy when dancing, the fit was perfection. At 5'10", the dress hit just above my knees, which made it a hot little number that was still appropriate for a work holiday party. The color, texture, and fit of this rich wine colored number made it an absolutely perfect dress for a formal summer wedding! The cut was sophisticated and felt covered enough, while the peek-a-boo cut outs made it feel young with just a touch of edge. I opted to wear the size 6 instead of 8 because I felt it had enough stretch while fitting better around the midsection. I'm a tall girl 5'10" with a pair of 4" tall wedges - yet the length of this dress still felt appropriate for a fancy summer wedding. This dress is one of my all-time favorite rentals from RTR! The nude underlay was super sexy while the black lace still made it feel sophisticated. Although the small hugged every curve, it was wayyyy too short for a 5'10" girl like myself - especially with a pair of heels on! I opted to wear the medium for a bachelorette bash and it was an absolute hit. I felt totally confident dancing the night away, and despite the spanx-esque lining of the dress, it was extremely comfortable and easy to wear. Plus, it gets bonus points for being able to wear a regular bra underneath! Thank you RTR - you've done it again! :)

I wore this amazing dress for a bachelorette party this past weekend. The sequins add just enough sparkle to keep it fun and sexy while still feeling appropriate for the affair! The material has some stretch to it, which makes it extremely comfortable, however the straps notoriously fell to the sides throughout the evening while dancing. I'm 5'10" and generally a true to size size 6, however even the size 4 which I wore could have been sized down. Due to the shape and structure of the dress it's very forgiving and felt great with a strapless shaper underneath. I received a ton of compliments and would recommend this rental to wear for a bachelorette, birthday, or other fun event! Still so impressed with RTR every time :)

I rented this dress for my rehearsal dinner and I cannot tell you how hard it was to give it back! The dress was cute enough to please the parents and sexy enough for my husband to love! When I received the dress I put it on and just kept twirling - it's flirty, feminine, and beautiful! I tried both the 6 and the 8 and opted to wear the size 6 for my event. Although it was shorter 8 (I'm 5'10" and wore 3.5 inch wedges), the size 6 - once fully zipped - had a gorgeous bodice that required no bra at all. That being said, I would not recommend this dress for the super busty, as the material is not at all forgiving. The dress is a beautiful off white and tan color - actually darker in person than it photographs - which made it super flattering on my skin tone. I would 100% encourage anybody who needs a little white dress for any occasion to scoop this one up. You will NOT be disappointed :)

I absolutely adore the Meshing Around Gown! I ordered this dress for a very formal wedding and it was a perfect choice - chic, elegant, and oh so comfortable to wear! The front neckline and side slit are balanced by a simple jersey material that flows as you move. I usually wear a size 6 or 8, and this dress actually seemed a little bit large in the hips in the 6. Also, at 5'10", I opted to order the extra length for the dress. I wore 3 inch heels (couldn't wear my higher shoes due to a recent ankle injury) and the dress was about an inch too long. Had I worn other shoes, it would have been perfect! My only complaint about the front neckline is you must be cautious with choosing undergarments. I wore a deep V strapless corset bra and had issues with keeping the bra out of view on one side. Otherwise this dress is just exquisite and is an ultra-flattering classy choice.

This dress is simply stunning online rack and even better in person! The keyhole back and cap sleeves made it feel sexy and sophisticated - perfect to attend a wedding! The size 6 fit but was shorter and tighter than the size 8. I opted to wear the 8 for the sake of feeling more comfortable sitting and moving. The only problem is you definitely need to wear a low back strapless bra to avoid showing through the lace in the back. Overall I received a ton of compliments and my fiance told me I looked like a movie star! Will definitely use RTR again :)
