Tight and uncomfortable- but such potential!!!
If only this could have worked!!!!! It was so cute and exactly the fun, flirty, spunky- yet classy formal look I wanted! However, it was WAY too tight around my rib cage (boobs were fine), and cut up into my armpits. This made it particularly scratch and uncomfortable. There is no way that I could have worn this for an entire evening. I’m really hopeful that trying the next size up will work! Fingers crossed that it was the size and not just the way it’s made. Such potential to be fun and cute!

Not amazing
Comfortable, fit well, seemed quality and fun idea, but…… to me the dress was pretty unflattering and almost dowdy looking (odd for a lace dress). It had a strange “boxy” look to it that didn’t work well on my figure. Maybe for someone curvier it would work. I didn’t wear it.

Looks too much like a bridesmaides dress
This fit well and was flattering, and would have been great if I was a bridesmaid in the wedding... but I wasn't so I didn't wear it.

Nice, but not a stunner
This was fine, comfortable and worked well, but not a total stunner. Length was good (and I am tall). You can see from teh pic that to make it long enough (and to fit my torso), i had to extend the straps really long which made it a bit low cut, but it was fine.

Different, Bold, Not Completely Flattering
It was a cool and unique dress. I ultimately went with a different one. This one would have required lots of very specific under garments - both to make the dress more flattering, and also to not show off nipples, underwear lines, blemishes, etc. I think it could have been fun, but I don't think I would have been comfortable.

Fun and Different- But SHORT!
I'm tall so i frequently have this problem. In addition to the dress being to short to sit comfortable, it also rode up all night and created bucking. However if I just stood still, it looked great- haha. It also was a little scratchy. All that being said, I did feel like I looked good, my fiance liked it, and It was fun for a party dress.

Nice, but shows all blemishes
I wore this for engagement pics and it looks great! However if you rent this know that finding undergarments is tricky. The fit isn't perfect everywhere and all blemishes definitely show- as well as all undergarment lines. That being said, it was good quality and felt nice. For engagement pictures it worked great.

Basic, but cozy, warm, classic
I definitely enjoyed wearing this! It didn't photograph as well as I would have liked, and it fit average (not terrible, but not amazingly flattering either). That being said, you do feel pretty great in it - not to mention warm and glam! The one I received had something spilled and then dried into the fur which made one part of the coat not feel soft and luxe light the rest. Fortunately you couldn't see it, but you could feel it.

Tight, but I felt GOOD!
I probably could have sized up to the L. But the tightness of the Medium did make it look HOT without being too inappropriate (high neck, appropriate hemline, thick plain material). It was a perfect mix of sexy and class for very understated gorgeousness! Loved wearing it! My bra straps just barely tucked away to hide under it, but it was close, and there is a chance for them to easily slip. Either way- this dress is a sleeper that I recommend, especially for the price. If RTR sells it I will buy!

Fun, but SHORT for a tall girl
This wasn't jaw dropping but it was pretty, comfy, a little different, and overall nice. My biggest issue was that it was way too short in the front- borderline inappropriate. I'm 5'10" and I wore the XL and it barely covered my lady bits...

Glamorous, Classy, Beautiful, Comfortable - Can't Stop Reminiscing About it!
I could not love this dress more. I wore it months ago, and I still think about it all the time! Its heavy which makes if feel high quality and glam. I thought the gold would be too much and distracting, but its not at all. i also thought the hip-iness of it, would make me look wide, but it didn't at all. I could not love this dress more. If I could get it in white, I would want it as my wedding dress!

I felt way too much like a mermaid to wear it.
PROS: It was very comfortable. It fit nicely, except loose in the bust. The bottom layed and pooled really nicely. CONS: With the (kinda scale-like) sequins and the mermaid cut, I couldn't stop thinking that I actually looked way too much like a Mermaid (and not in a super flattering way- more of a kinda fishy way. Haha). I would have needed an extra padded bra to fill it out and make the fit work. Along the side there was some ruffling on the seem and it wouldn't lay flat. I didn't wear it.

W/blazer, was fun/spunky/springy @ the office. Tight & thick material but stretchy. Semi-comfortable
Fits tight and rides up when you walk, but the material is like neoprene so it stretches. I wore it to work with pumps and a navy blazer (since I couldn't go to the event I planned to wear it at). Worked for a day at the office, but would not have been professional enough for a more formal day (board meeting, presentation, etc). Makes your hips look kinda big (see pic), but I didn't feel fat or anything - esp since I had a blazer over it. Comments I got: "Nice dress" "Springy" "bright and fun" "your very dub step today" (dont know what that last one means). I would not rent again, but did not regret having it and enjoyed my day wearing it.

For a plain black dress- it's killer!!!! Comfortable, unique, classy!
This dress was awesome! I have a hard time getting form fitting dresses to fit me- small in the waist, medium/small chest, and big hips/thighs. This worked great and made me look awesome!!! I was fine going sans bra- but I am usually okay with that. I picked up a statement necklace for $15 (recommended to keep it from being too plain) and wore high black pumps- it was perfect. It was really comfortable too. If only I had been standing more to show off the hot back!

Would need to tailor it to make it work- but still felt HOT! Good for an "un-active" night out.
Overall, I felt BEAUTIFUL and happy! HOWEVER- If this was for more than just a cocktail night at a swanky bar with my boyfriend, I would have struggled for three reasons: bra, armpits, hips. BRA: I have a small-ish chest, and with the right bra (a red one) I was "poppin"! Worked for the occasion, but I would have felt uncomfortable in any sort of professional situation. If I did not have the EXACT color red bra, I would have had to go without- the dress is so low that it definitely shows the bra. ARMPITS: As other reviewers have said, the dress has small arm holes, so it rides up into your armpit. I was just sitting all night, so it wasn't a huge deal, but ANY sweat or moving (chaffing) would have been really irritating. HIPS: I have big hips/thighs and a small waist. The size 10 was really tight on my thighs, causing it to ride up when I walk/sit. At the same time, I could have taken in over 2 inches at the waist/bodice. Not a problem for dinner with my man... but would have been so irritating to pull down all night if I had been dancing or standing. All in all- this is what RTR is all about! I felt beautiful, it fit my needs- even though it is a dress that I would definitely not buy due to the odd/uncomfortable fit points.

Pretty Detailing; Ill-fitting
The green lace was awesome- way prettier than I expected. The dress, however, was ill-fitting and sort of dowdy once it was on. It was extremely tight in the hips/thighs/butt and then loose and baggy (pooching out) on the belly. If you have any sort of curves I would not recommend this dress! I got it in two sizes 8 and 10 (I usually can wear either- typically an 8 jean size) and I could not make either one look good. I didn't wear this dress.

This dress looked GREAT on. Really looked good with a clean tan (and made me look tan too. It looked EXCELLENT in pictures - so it is good for a wedding/event. However, it was not super comfy. It was VERY VERY tight in thighs and butt (I almost couldn't sit) and loose at belly (was afraid of "pooching" all night). It also was not flush around the top, so I was afraid that it would gap and show my chest, but was okay - jut a bit uncomfortable.
